• Clock and hw external trigger with USB-6210 on Linux with NOR-DAQmx Base?

  I have two devices USB-6210 I need to synchronize so that they both collect data exactly at the same time. I was told by support OR I can send the clock off Dev1/PFI4 and have the two USB-6210 s read the clock in through their own PFI0. I also want to trigger data collected for each device by sending a trigger off Dev1/PFI6 and have two devices to receive the signal on PFI2.

  All my attempts to try this are filled with error messages and my research online seem to say that's not possible with USB devices on NOR-DAQmx Base 3.4.0f2 on Linux.

  If so, does anyone have the code example illustrating how to do this, or can you at least tell me the names of the lines ("PFI0/Dev1" or other) so I can try again?

  The clockSource in the example specifies an output rather than an input channel channel. Change source "/ Dev1 / PFI0" solved the problem.

  Hi, I have a communications problem when I use an NI USB - 232 (778472 - 01) adapter to control a pressure sensor.   The system is XP SP 3 Pro.

  The version of Labview is 8.6.

  The MAX version is 4.5.0f0.

  If port by default windows settings exactly match the settings you need for communication, you can get lucky and it will work.  If only one parameter is different, it won't work.

  It is always better to define the parameters in your code.

  I have ADE installed 4.03.  The problem will occur as soon as that ADE is closed and reopened.    It takes so the patch every time allows you to download a book ADE.

  Hello, I managed to solve my problem of E_STREAM_ERROR regarding the Google Play ebook. The short answer is to use ADE 4.0.3.

  When I met the problem of the E_STREAM_ERROR, it is with ADE 2.0.67532 on Windows 7 (and this had no problem handling the Kobo CMHA, OverDrive files, open a library and a sample epub BCAM from Adobe itself). This is why I would not upgrade my 2.0.67532 to the last 4.0.3. Instead, I used another Windows 7 PC and installed ADE 4.0.3. On my first try, I allowed the 4.0.3 without ID, and there was an error E-GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED. I then allowed with the Adobe-same ID * as my 2.0.67532 PC. It worked as I could get my epub from Google.

  As I don't expect a response from Adobe technical support, I guess that now Google license servers do not work with Adobe 2.0.3. I hope this will help you solve your problem - at least to get your ebook in ADE first.

  However, I would be careful replacing 4.0.3 of my 2.0.67532 I wouldn't be surprised if the latest version will not work with other suppliers of epub for social mobilization. For me the upgrade to the latest version of the software is never the best solution - it could solve a problem, but creates another.

  Note: * I understand that you can authorize up to a total of six computers with the same Adobe ID. Not sure that this policy is still standing.

  I did a system of simple analog voltage with DAQMX data acquisition.

  It is made for reading of capacitance, where output capacitance value out of a circuit in the periodic voltage signal.

  What I want is to get data from four capacitors simultaneously through four channels, using samples n n (dbl 2d).

  The structure of my VI is almost similar with examples of continuous sampling of voltage in LabView, with the exception of a few other calculations in the loop.

  And for the synchronization of the trigger, I've corrected the edge of release with the external signal from the capacitance reading circuit.

  Version no. 1 has a channel for data input voltage. Version n ° 2 has four channels for the input data.

  While ver.1 can get accurate reading of four capacitors circuit data each (a single channel at a time),.

  ver.2 acquires four channels of data, with a single thin data channel, all the others were wrong.

  I saw a 200279 error occur in the DAQMX read part 2d dbl, so I tried increasing the buffers by changing the sampling frequency or the number of samples, but it wasn't everything.

  I rose for most of the forums with the 200279 error, but the solution would not work on mine.

  Anyone can find the problem? I will attach my screws it may include a bit of Korean language, but most of them are in English, shouldn't be too hard to recognize. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  Oh I forgot, my DAQ is NI USB-6259, and it works in Win XP sp3 and LabView 8.6.

  The 6259 is a DAQ card of the M Series Multiplexed, which means that it is not possible to sample each signal at the same instant, rather the channels are all sent through the ADC even and must be sampled in order. More information on this can be found here:

  It may still be possible to get the data you need with the card you have - could you give more information about the maximum eligible period between samples on different channels?

  If you require * real * simultaneous sampling, you will probably need different hardware.

  I'm trying to use DAQmx Save Task.vi in LabView to save a generation of simple signal task, so I can open it later / elsewhere. However, the problem I have is when I try to open the task in MAX. The task is presented in MAX, but when I try to run the task 200552 it occurs to the DAQ Assistant.

When I started with LabVIEW, I found the Daq Assistant to the best way to measure the voltage with my Daq etc. My company has purchased another DaqMx NI USB-6225 and now I have a big problem: the Daq Assistant in my old Vi does not work with the new data acquisition. I understand why there is this problem, but I do not know how to solve. I found this code on the forum who finds that Daq is connected:

  (1) as the old software is related to 'Dev1' you must rename your new device to this alias and skip/rename the old device (and lack).

  Hello Michel,

  Sorry for this confusion.

  You can find some general examples for switches of programming under help > find examples in LabVIEW.  I would go to the output material & > DAQmx > switches and check out some examples below to see if any programs already exist for your goals.

  As for your specific question, at the beginning of each program, you must DAQmx switch topology Set and Reset.  This allows the users to define the topology of the switch for each individual switch card in a chassis.  A good community it shows a simple, you will find a complete example of using these two screws, we discussed here.

  Finally, the SCXI-1160 is an electromechanical lock change, so in the case of a power outtage, the switch will retain its State.  However, switching on, all default relay to their States normally connected.

  How can I set the time of liberation with DAQmx?

  In general, with a single DAQ hardware, the two signals are connected at the same time and the acquisition time is a function of the sampling frequency and number of samples read. For example, with a sampling rate of 1000 samples/s and 50 samples, the acquisition will be 50 msec. You then get a returned array if you wanted to watch a single signal by iteration of the while loop, it is simply a matter of indexing the specific channel to the table. You must set the mode of continuous sampling to avoid gaps and precise timing. Using two separate tasks and switching back and forth would add a lot of overhead to close/create tasks and you have little control over this period.

  I want to associate this data with my DAQmx device measures. Is it possible to synchronize the clocks of the sample (by RTSI?) in the same way, it would be with DAQmx CAN synchronize data?

  Material: NO PCI-CAN/2 & OR PCI-6229.

  Well, I think I understand now, I don't know why I DINA see this before. It is not possbile to do this with the ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit, sort of XCP DAQ, is not something that you are able to do.

• Hardware DAQ do not appear in LabVIEW measurement IO after loading 2014 DS2, uninstall 2014 DS2 and then reinstalling 2013 DS1.

  Hardware DAQ do not appear in the measures of e/s. I installed LabVIEW worm 2014 DS2 Developer suite and my request is not worked. I then uninstalled ver 2014 DS2 Developer suite and re-installed worm 2014 DS1 Developer suite that installs such as LabVIEW 2013. Now none of the DAQ screws are present in measures of e/s. I uninstalled all the software of NOR and remove this software OR who do not uninstall. LabVIEW worm 2014 DS1 Developer suite installs normally, but I get an "unknown error" when trying to install drivers for data acquisition from the CD and the CD device drivers maintains a loop with a message indicating "currently exectuing License Manager."

  All return to work! I downloaded NIDAQ 9.8 on the site of NOR, and everything back to normal.
