  • How can I compare the differences between two files After Effects?

I have a major problem.  I was working on special effects for a film.  In After Effects, when I change siggificant, I often have to register under and create a new name so I can go back to the old work if necessary.  It comes in a case, I have come back from earlier works.  If I use these two files After Effects allows you to create multiple clips of effects.  And I do not remember just where you look at it, it is better.  Does anyone know a good way to compare the differences between the files?

One thing to keep this conversation on the right way: I know that I did a stupid thing.  I've never done this before so can we please not spend a lot of time on how to avoid this problem and stick to how we solve this problem?

If you encounter difficulties to identify differences in the old and new versions, you can use this procedure:

To avoid confusion, I'll call your former company and your most recent compositions CompB comps.

CompA drag "New Comp" icon in the project window.  This will create a new temporary layout that contains the nested CompA.

Drag in your new COMP CompB temporary ensure it aligns image for image with CompA.

Place the top layer (CompB) difference.

Now, when you play through the comp, you'll see differences in color at a time where the comparison and CompB are not identical.

  • By comparing the differences files

This question has been posted in response to the following article: http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/CS/using/WSc78c5058ca073340dcda9110b1f693f21-7edda .html

I don't know about the use of FileMerge.app, but compare the file works with TextWrangler twdiff Mountain Lion.

    The location is HD:usr:local:bin:twdiff Macintosh.

TextWrangler is a free text editor and the "little brother" of BBEdit. It can be obtained from http://www.barebones.com/products/TextWrangler/.

  • What is the difference between 'Document', 'Book' and 'Library' in InDesign?

I often use 'Document' in the manufacture of files such as brochures and as an ebook. But I've never used book or library when I make a new file. Where and when (what type of file) should I use library, books and paper? What is there a significant difference?

A book is a collection of document files. It's a useful method to organize several separate files in a composition more long. A library is a collection of active objects, that you can place in other files. It is commonly used to hold assets that are used over and over again to speed up your work.

  • SQL query problem finding difference in documents

    Hi all
I use oracle 10g. I need emergency aid to find the difference in documents based on the date:

I have sales of the table as below:

    seller SALES_COUNT DATE
    JOHN 20 04/01/2012
    DENNY 15 04/01/2012
    JOHN 30 04/02/2012
    DENNY 30 04/02/2012
    JOHN 45 04/03/2012
    DENNY 50 04/03/2012

SALES_COUNT is up to man including the date of sale. Its similar cumulative number. John has total sales of 01/04/2012 to 03/04/2012 is 50 and same case for Denny. This SALES_COUNT will keep increasing with dates as sales continue to add in the table for each salesperson.
But I want to have seprate for each seller counties.
    for example: JOHN SALES_COUNT 04/02/2012 is 30-20 = 10
    JOHN SALES_COUNT 03/04/2012 is 45-30 = 15
    DENNY SALES_COUNT, 02/04/2012 is 30-15 = 15
    JOHN SALES_COUNT 03/04/2012 is 50-30 = 20

Please help me with this scenario and let me know if you need clarification. I would much appreciate your help.

Sorry, and Yes, his minutes (under a strain here)

So basically it's a bad situation

How heavy this weighing in a join will select the instruction?
for example, left to join an intermediate table (200,000), with a huge table (40.000.000 rows)
where is equal to staging.varchar indexed field huge varchar field table
AND that calculated the difference > 5?

See [when your query takes too Long | http://forums.oracle.com/forums/message.jspa?messageID=1812597#1812597] for what you must post to get advice on the setting.
Are you saying that the part of the join condition which is the date of a table must be at least 5 minutes later at the time of the other table? In other words, you're doing something like:

    FROM staging s
    LEFT OUTER JOIN huge_table h ON h.txt = s.txt
                                     AND ( TO_DATE (s.utc_date_new, 'YYYYMMDDHH24MISS')
                                  - TO_DATE (h.utc_date_old, 'YYYYMMDDHH24MISS')
                                  ) * 1440 > 5

If so, try to change the terms of join like this:

    FROM staging s
    LEFT OUTER JOIN huge_table h ON h.txt = s.txt
                                     AND h.utc_date_old < s.utc_date_new
                                     AND ( TO_DATE (s.utc_date_new, 'YYYYMMDDHH24MISS')
                                  - TO_DATE (h.utc_date_old, 'YYYYMMDDHH24MISS')
                                  ) > (5 / 1440)

Even if the new condition (the other,

                                     AND h.utc_date_old < s.utc_date_new

are covered by the third condition, it can leave a lot of matches be excluded without a conversion from VARCHAR2 to this DAY.
Also, don't multiply each difference in 1440; Just compare the difference within days to a constant. I don't know if the optimizer is smart enough to do it for you, but why take the risk?

would be to limit the calculation to: to_date (to_number (nw.time_utc), \'YYYYMMDDHH24MISS\')
give a significant increase in speed?

I think it's the opposite. The first TO_DATE argument must be a string; the above expression is to convert the string to a NUMBER (which takes a while), and while the NUMBER is implicitly converted to a VARCHAR2 (which takes more time).

  • How accept/reject green/red changes in a Document comparing the CMP FM

I work in FM 11 and to merge a file two writers that worked at the same time with the different sections of this update file. I used the FM utility > Compare Documents. The result CMP file showed me the text inserted in light green and the text deleted in red. How do you accept/reject these changes? My solution is to retype what I wanted to keep and select Delete I wanted to delete text.

I also tried to use SVN update to merge the files, but does not seem to be able to merge my two SVN files (even if SVN merges a text file that user 1 set to DAY before they COMMITTED their change. UPDATE merges the writer 1 changes in the working copy of the writer 2 without change of 2 disturbing writer. Then the writer 2 could COMMIT. But that only worked on a TXT file and did not work with FM files. With FM, just SVN wouldn't let writer 2 DAY if his copy was not in harmony with the committed copy.

Ideally, I would like to be able to merge the changes on the same file from two writers have updated from various sections. Any suggestions? Thank you.

The utility of comparison only adds simple conditional tags to show the differences in a new combined version. Accept/reject only works with the track text edit modes, but you can not follow the text changes when writers attempt to simultaneously work on the same file.

You're probably better off splitting into smaller sections so that the changes can be done simultaneously. Then use the book feature or a new file with text overlays to assemble things.

Creative Cloud files are stored in your CC account synchronized.

Document Cloud files are the only pdfs stored with the sync Acrobat DC system.

The two are separate storage options. However, the DC option synchronizes perfectly with all your versions of Acrobat (mobile, desktop, etc.)

  • [JDev 12.1.3] The difference between the Type of Document "Facelets" and "JSP XML" when you create a new page?

    Hallo,

that is the difference between choosing as a Type of Document "Facelets" and choosing "JSP XML" when you create a new page?

Which is the best choiche and why? And is it possible to convert a page from one type to another?

    Thank you

    Federico

    Hi Federico

JSPX both Faceletes are equal to the feature and after Jdev Release11gR2, both are supported in the ADF

Facelets is deemed be better performance because it is more tight integrated with life cycle JSf and does not need to be compiled before running

The future speaks Facelets (specification of JSF) and if start you a new project in development with JDeveloper 11 g R2 then we recommend you use Facelets for this reason

See this good discussion -Diff b\w JSF and JSPX

  • What is the difference between Facelets and JSP XML document?

    Hello

When you create a new page, in the dialog box "Create a JSF Page" it is a choice called 'Type of Document' to select "Facelets" or "the JSP XML".

May be he one please tell me what is the difference between them. And what should I choose if I want to include ajax code in my page.

    Thanks in advance

    Facelets creates a facelets page

    JSP creates a JSP page

Facelets - is default and the official display for JSF, compact JSP pages Manager has been used to view JSF pages but don't bear all component Facelets comes in picture under open source APACHE license. It supprts all components used by JSF (Java Server Faces) user interface.

Facelets has been developed by Jacob Hookom in 2005.

If you create a Facelets fragment in taskflow bounded, taskflow must be abandoned in a JSF (the parent page) page not in the .jspx (JSP XML) page.

If you try to deposit in the JSP XML page-

JSP, XML - jspx is Variant XML of the JSP (Java Server Pages) to support XML document. The JSP XML fragments are used in ADF inorder to support the XML document and more powerful techniques of page validation.

If you create xml jsp fragments in taskflow bounded, taskflow must be abandoned in a JSP XML (.jspx) (the parent page) page not in the JSF page.

  • JavaScript - the difference between ' window ' and 'document.'?

    Hello

I'm a Javascript newbie which ended just by the first screen of Captivate (CP9) (HTML5) using Javascript.

A slide with several text entry areas (TEBs) and a Submit button, which performs a function to validate the TEBs (thank you David for have started me).

I call the function in the script of the Submit button window and have Javascript code in the Index file.

In the Javascript code, I used the ' windows ' and 'document '. (don't know if I've used them correctly but the works of Javascript)

I don't really know the difference between them.

In Javascript, I know that window is loaded in the browser first, then the document is loaded in the window.

It's like the window is your browser window and the document is the HTML page inside.

Also, you can use each of them to access specific properties - and window has a context.

    Some examples of my javascript:

    • window.cpAPIInterface.setVariableValue ("q1_fback", "");         -erase a message of feedback (text of legend with variable) associated with BER
    • document.getElementById("Text_Entry_Box1_inputField").style.border = 'solid red medium. "  -modification of the border of an object invalid BER (red)

    My question is:

    1. What is the difference between ' window ' and "document." in a context of Captivate?

I will post you more questions to find out how:

1 use loops to knock down my code

2 reuse the same function in other slides

    Concerning

    Donal.

    Your assumptions are correct.

the cpAPIInterface is in the window.

The Text_Entry_Box1_inputField is in the document, not the window, but you can use:

    window.document.getElementById("Text_Entry_Box1_inputField").style.border = 'solid red medium. "

Scope of variables depends on how and when they are declared, and it is generally best to limit their scope and not use them globally in the window object. All seem to be available in the cPs variables window.
