  I'm afraid that I don't see your picture, I do not know if it attached correctly. However, I think that the reason why you don't see specific measures is that you make a measurement resistance with the DAQ assistant, but you should do a measurement of voltage.

  The task you mention is not too difficult, just compare your signal to your threshold values by using the range of comparison (functions > programming > comparison of the block diagram) and then use the result of this causes a pop-up dialogue box (maybe using a case structure).

  To draw the lines of two thresholds on your graph, you might just have another signal that is constant at the value of your threshold and output for the chart as an additional channel, you can have multiple signals on the same chart using the function of merging of signals.

  Very simply... When Thomas Knoll developed Camera Raw, he brought intentional changes to curves algorithms in Camera Raw to eliminate what he was a problem in Photoshop curves of process. Photoshop will change not only the luminance, but also the saturation AND hue adjusting curves. In Camera Raw, the curves function mainly change the luminance data and the slight changes in saturation, but not hue settings.   Your problem is that you seem to have a use case of the singular where the functions of the cab is not "help" as the function of Photoshop curves. Such is life... If you have a specific need that ONLY Photoshop can do, do it in Photoshop unless you can learn to do in ACR/LR.

  Learn how to skillfully use the tools you use makes a lot more sense to wish the tools worked differently and be frustrated.

  The fact simply is that Camera Raw or Lightroom will change anytime soon... so, either YOU need to learn how to use ACR/LR or do things in Photoshop.

• A comparison to run using a structure case

  I'm writing a simple program, but I can't seem to understand how to write it.

  I have a dynamic series of data (about 16 000 values) running inside a while loop.

  I want to add 180 a value if that value is less than 30.

  My idea was to:

• How to make a clapping detection program

  Hello Im new on the forum. IM currently working on a program that lights up when you applaud. The trickiest part in which I can't find a way to do it is to make Labview only light the Leds when it detects the 2 claps.

  What I did is that I used the microphone on my laptop to acquire sound samples, then extract the samples in a table and also to extract the maximum of the table, and then after a few comparisons when the program detects a spike then the LED lights. But I can't find a way to run only if you do two claps. If anyone can help me please.

  Continuous sampling makes it easier to get the timing of the two summits.

  To create an example let define us two peaks as culminates more than 200 ms and less than 2000 ms interval. When we find a peak (max. 1) store the value in number of cycles (1 head) in the shift register.  The number of cycles is in milliseconds. The actual value means nothing to your program.  When the next peak is detected (max. 2) store the number of cycles at this time, count 2) in the registry change and subtract the number of cycles of previous peak (count 1 terminal point of the shift register to the left) of the current count (count 2) (connected to the Terminal on the right).  If there is a difference between 200 and 2000, the LED lights up, otherwise, leave off.  The next iteration of the loop to count 2 will take place on the left terminal of the registry to offset and counting 1 will be replaced. If no PIC is on this iteration just plug the register straight shift, now the number of values 2 in it.  When the third peak is found, its count will be compared to the number 2.  If you still have an old Chief (after finding the first pic) and no change for no new spike or a new account was a new peak.

  The various actions for pic or no Pic are in two different cases of a box structure.

  OK, so here is the problem I have do this output pid controller is between 0-100 in this program, I'm just trying to make it work so I made a function to compare that when the controller output is 0 and the constant 0 I'm starting a business loop which transform the output for a second and turn off for a second.   When I go into the structure of the case, the rest of my program slows down

  I don't know why, I tried to do a while loop and a structure outside my main loop but I can't get my signal of my statement to compare to enter the second loop where I get my output to bike in 1 second intervals

  The next thing you want to learn more about LabVIEW dataflow. This is the fundamental paradigm of LV and explain your slowdown problems.

  The basic concept of data flow is any node (node = function, Subvi, structure) can begin to run when the data is present on all its entries and no data will be present at its outputs to execution comopletes of knot.

  How will this affect your VI? The real deal has a wait 1000 ms (actually two, one in each case of the internal structure of the housing = redundant code). The structure of the case will not complete execution until the wait ends. And the while loop does not complete its repetition until the end of the structure of the case. The result: at the exit of the PID.vi = 0, the loop runs at 1 second per iteration.

  What is the solution? Continue execution of the loop at intervals of 100 ms. sure in the structure of matter (true case) and another register to shift of how number of intervals of 100 ms is passed. When the count reaches ten, toggle the output line.  Do not use the 1000 ms of waiting.

  All the code in your internal structure is not necessary. Connect the output remains directly to the digital Arduino write VI.

  Be careful with the comparison to zero with floating point data. If the calculation which produces data has round off errors you could get a value such as 0.573E - 15, but which is not equal to zero. It is better to compare to a small range of values above and below zero.

  Right to left wiring is much easier to follow in trying to understand what makes a program. Using the tool to clean occasionally will help (although he eventually frustrate you also).

  Your question is too vague. And besides, there is no need to compare c# to .NET. C# is a language that uses .NET. .NET is a framework, not a programming language. Your question might as well ask "can you tell me the comparison between C++ (version not .NET) and LabVIEW?

• triangle wave in comparison questions

  Hi all, I'm very new to using labview and have encountered a problem.

  I'm trying to compare 2 ongoing tensions with a triangle wave form, in a manner similar to PWM comparing a triangle wave to sine wave. I am building the schema to load on an FPGA but can't with the wires going to the comparator leave the signal generator of triangle and in the interface of e/s of the element of comparison.

  I think the problem is that the waveform of the triangle is an array, which is not a correct entry for the comparison group. I thought that the block that converts the table to the dynamic entry might solve this problem, but it didn't.

  Right.  FPGA does not allow tables (unless the length is set to a constant), or DDT.  You will notice that if you open the palette of functions while editing an FPGA .vi, they aren't "even appear.  The error message is that the subVIs cannot run.

  Check it out Finder example OR (Help menu/search examples...) and search for "PWM".  There are several examples, the first one (generation PWM) probably applies very well (use a caller .vi and pass something like [1000 + 1000 * sin (i)], and [1000-1000 * sin (i)] and change [F] to [T] to stop the time each cycle).  Discover the other examples.  There may be one more like what you want.

  In general, the FPGA code works by a loop very quickly and treatment only one value at a time.  Instead of generating a sine wave together and a triangle wave model, you must generate a single point in waves each pass through the loop.

  If you want your own solution (instead of starting with the example): on the palette of functions, use 'search' to find sinus (or sinusoidal generator FPGA), etc. and use a normal programming/digital/Greater to compare the sine to triangle.

  I am writing a program to test a product that we produce using CAN.  How would I go see if I have a CAN message string to know that our alarm is turned on, on the product?  Is there a way to compare channels incomming and pass it some Boolean value when it does?  Thank you, Fred

  You can use the simple comparison function to compare two strings. If you have a list of channels, then you can store them in a table and use the search function of table 1 d. Two find a portion of a string in another string, you can use the search and replace function.

  To detect the transition that you want to look for the case where the current value of the comparison to the threshold is in a State, and the previous comparison is in the other State.

  You should have a wait in the case of False function (or a single outside the structure to deal with values inside each case). Without it, the loop runs as fast as possible to consume all of the CPU resources available at least in a carrot.

  Is there a reason that you have three written rather than the concatenation of all the channels and just do an entry?  Normally, opening and closing the serial port inside a loop are not a good idea.  You indicated that the system may be inactive for hours between messages, so it may be OK here.  What happens if the serial port configuration fails because another program is using it or the GSM device is unresponsive?  You do not any management mistakes.  A remote system running for long times should have robust error management.
