Compatibility disk HARD v3 - 771 G-6485 for 1 TB +.

Hello

I don't know anything about how to increase space on hard drive and I desperately need more space. My laptop is almost 3 years old and did not NO problem. I am VERY satisfied with its performance. I have 10 windows and I think after that which has been updated I lost tons of space. I don't want to see the blue screen of death then please advise on the compatibility of the products for 1 TB. The specifications are:

Intel Core i5 3230 M clocked at 2.6 GHz Turbo Boost up to 3.2 GHz

6 GB of DDR3 memory

HARD DRIVE 750 GB

Windows 10

64

Thank you!

Before looking for a new HARD drive, please do a clean disk, be aware that you will not be able to return to your previous operating system installed after cleaning.

Windows logo key

type

Disk Cleanup

Click Disk Cleanup

Click on clean up system files

Let scanner

then check the files you want to delete, it is safe to do so

in the end, press ok and let it wipe the HARD drive for you

    I had a Server Power Edge R720 but ordered a 3.5 HARD disk "instead of a 2.5".

is it possible that I can use my drive HARD 3.5 "with my Power Edge R720? Nothing like for an adapter?

    Meede85,

Please specify. You bought R720 with a 2.5 "HD bottom of basket, but you made an order of a 3.5" HD. We don't have any adapters for use of a 3.5 "HDs in the bottom of basket 2.5" HD. However, there are adapters for use of 2.5 "HDs in the bottom of basket HD 3.5".

If this is the case, the only option available is on the agenda for the 2.5 "HDs.

  • Second disk HARD support interface cable and for DV7 3110ea

I apologize if this has already been covered here.

I need a support cable and HDD to fit a second HDD SATA interface. I think that HP 611935-001 part for the interface numbers and 532591-001 for support.

Can anyone confirm this and possibly suggest somewhere that I could not them since partmaster HP site wasn't much help.

I found a few of these parts online providers and prices vary from about £ 22 to £35 each. I would like to make sure they are the right parts before ordering.

Problem solved, I have since found the parts on ebay and mounted the second hard drive.

  • I have a clone of the hard disk that my images are on for the trip.  How to run LR using that drive rather than what he became in general?

I cloned the drive that my images are on a hard disk that is tougher to travel.  Think of this as an extra back upward.  How to run LR using that drive rather than what he became in general?  My plan is to return to the top/clone the drive trip to the typical reader when I go home.  The catalogue is available on a MacBook Air I'll use at any time.  It is not just enough space on the hard drive of MB Air for images.  I thought of naming the road trip with the same name as the player who is at home, and know that LR, but I think I'll get confused by doing this. The info on the two drives is the same at this point.

    Thank you.

You use the update folder location command, as explained in part 2 of this document: http://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm

You can consider using Smart saw instead of wearing of the pictures with you on an external drive, if you have the space.

  • How to clone disk HARD of backup/restore for ideapad with pre-installed win8 and recovery button work?

    Hi all

I recently bought a y510p ideapad. It came with pre-installed win8, and I have no recovery CD. I intend to play with linux on this laptop, but do not want to lose win8. So before I have potentially immediately reformat, I think to make a copy of clone of my HDD on an external USB drive. The general plan is like that,

    1. make a copy of mobile on external USB HARD drive

2 mud with linux - and foolishly autour reformat the entire process

    3. have fed up with linux and want to return to windows

4 copy of retrospective data from usb driver external HDD latop

5 return to the comfort of win8

With the help of this tool (clonezilla) will work in the above scenario?

    http://www.MakeUseOf.com/tag/free-advanced-hard-drive-cloning-solution-from-Clonezilla/

If not, are there any other alternatives (free if all goes well) I could use?

My intention with the backup, is that after that I have 'restore' things, "a key recovery" button should continue to work as before.

Make the plan will cause OKR is not functioning properly. To prove this to get a hard drive of exact size and make a clone of hard disk of the device. Remove the hard drive from the unit and place the disc clone hard inside. You can now play with the disk hard clone to your hearts desire but OKR first test if it still works. Even if OKR no longer work, you can proceed with the installation of linux. Once you're disgusted with Linux everything you have to do is replace the hard disk clone with the original hard drive and you're back to win with OKR 8 still works.

  • How do I change or remove the password disk HARD on my Tecra A9

    Hi all

I looked for where I could, but didn't find any indication at all, so I'm asking here.

I have a Tecra A9 in need of resettlement, what I like to do for me.
I have a very good password on the HARD disk which I do not wish to give. So I want to change it or remove it completely.

Please someone, how do I do? In the BIOS, I don't see that it has been defined, but all what I try, I can not change or get rid of it.

Maybe I should add that since the original installation of the PC it was years ago and I don't remember not the 'Administrator' password.

Everything is under control. I know the 'controller' password and have already successfully removed the BIOS password. Smart TPM is disabled.

BUT what the disk hard drive password?
    Any help much appreciated!

    Thank you!

    > Could I use any SATA 2.5 "portable HARD drive as a replacement disk or the Toshiba marked those are suitable exclusively?

Yes, usually all 2.5 SATA hard drives must be compatible, since the SATA controller is compatible and even if you want to use a SATA II or SATA III HARD drive, the laptop must be able to manage this device.
But of course, the performance would be limited to SATA I

  • How to remove the disk HARD passwordon Portege R500?

    Hello

do you know how to remove the HARD drive password? I know the current password, but if I try to remove it by changing your current password to a blank password, it does not work.
    It has password always news.

    Thank you

    Hello

I hope that you use the correct and just HARD drive password because it of necessary to remove and delete the existing HARD disk password.
If you have forgot the password for HARD drive then the HARD drive should be locked and you would not be able to unlock the HARD drive!

Generally, the HARD drive password can be deleted in the BIOS.
Please ensure that another password would be removed too.

I found a forum thread useful on a password disk HARD similar question:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=66386𐍒

According to the information published by the user jonr17 you must first make sure that all other like BIOS passwords, user and supervisor passwords are removed.
Then try to remove the HDD from the BIOS password.

    Good bye

  • Satellite Pro L20 - disk hard keeps spinning down

Hi, I have recently updated the BIOS on my Toshiba Satellite Pro L20, and I noticed that the disk hard keeps spinning down after about a minute, even while typing or surfing on the internet. I checked the power settings Windows XP and have it put on the desk, with the time 'Disable hard drive' set to 5 minutes when it is plugged and 5 minutes on battery (I always use on the same network). I checked the BIOS settings to see if there is something listed there, but there are no settings for hard disk power management in the BIOS.

Although the turning down of the hard disk does not affect performance, I fear that it may be to focus on rising constant power drive / descent.
The new version of BIOS is 25 April 06 Windows Bios Update for Satellite L20 (PSL2X), Satellite Pro L20 (PSL2Y) and Equium L20 (PSL2Z)', or a file 2, 20 - WIN.

I think that it s nothing unusual that the HARD drive keeps spinning down applies none or BONES need the HARD disk activity.
In addition, the turning down of the HARD drive has no effect from the bottom on the performance of the HARD disk or over the life of the HARD drive.

  • Tecra M3: How to remove a password disk HARD known?

    Greetings, all.
I am a technician in a large enterprise COMPUTING and have been presented with a Tecra M3 which took the user/HDD to set passwords.
I need to redistribute the laptop to another employee, but I need to make sure that no game of passwords of the bios.

Now that I know what is the existing password, I have reset / removed the user password, eliminating 'password =' fast before the start.

However, I find no docco to tell me how to remove the HARD drive password. I am always prompted with "password HARD drive integrated =" command prompt.

Can I put it, I change it. I just can't take it off.
It's probably somewhere simple, I'm not quite familiar with this model.

I should note here: I KNOW WHAT IS THE EXISTING PASSWORD, so I'm not a suspect type "how to bypass a password disk HARD unknown?". I just need to know how to, or remove it completely if the new user-to-be is not invited.

    Hello

You should be able to remove the HARD drive KNOWN password in the BIOS. I put t understand why you aren't able to do.

About your statement, you can set HARD drive password and change the HARD drive password.

I think you should try to remove the HARD drive as the master password BIOS password.
Try to use the Enter key to change the password for the drive HARD and don't anything else type.

In my opinion what one possibility to remove no matter what password and I think he should functions

    Hello

    Check it!

The 0x8078002A error may occur because the physical 4 k. sector size I read that the utility Windows 7 backup and restore has some problems with readers supporting the logic of 4 K sector size.

If you use a reader of logical sector of one size other than 512 bytes, System Windows image backup, and restore operations may fail, and you receive the following error message:

If you use the drive external HARD as part of the Windows 7 backup and restore, you can buy a HARD drive supporting 512 bytes per physical sector
