compatibility Firefox 7.0.1 with Macintosh G4
Under Max OS 10.5 Macintosh G4 DDS Office currently Firefox version 3.6.23. I am told that the support will not continue. I can't install version 7.0.1? The current version works without any problem but I can't participate in a few podcasts.

Versions of Firefox 4 + are not compatible with Mac PPC.
For older Mac that are not supported in Firefox 4 / 5 / 6-7, try TenFourFox for PowerPC in performance Mac 10.4.11 and 10.5.8.

The new version of Firefox 20 is compatible with the Norton Toolbar?
I just received notice this morning on this new version of Firefox, but I hesitate to install until I know that my Norton toolbar will work. Can you give us some information? Thank you!
Solael,
Best is to ask the support of Comcast directly.
http://forums.Comcast.com/T5/security-and-anti-virus/BD-p/13Are you aware that Firefox 21 is scheduled to be released next Tuesday, May 14?
https://wiki.Mozilla.org/RapidRelease/calendar
Comcast & Norton are already over 5 weeks of delay in the release of a compatibility update for Firefox 20.Norton being the update compatibility Firefox 20 for their retail security applications in the 2 hours 20 Firefox being out, my guess is that Comcast is a delaying the update for their version of 'brand' of Norton.
See this response from a Manager Norton at the forum in support of Norton on April 29.
I apologize for not replying sooner. We're sorry for the delay, and we understand how frustrating this situation has become, however Norton & Comcast are working hard to resolve some recent changes for the Comcast Norton Security Suite. We want to reach a commercially viable resolution together in the best way possible, and do that as quickly as we can. I'll update you on any status change or additional information as it becomes available. Thanks for hanging in there with us. Tony Weiss Norton Forums Global Community Manager Symantec Corporation
I read 'commercially viable resolution' , as they are worth some money, and Comcast is dragging their customers dry for almost 6 weeks now.

I want to install Firefox on my Tablet Asus of Infinity transformer and market Play/Android Google says that Firefox is not compatible with my device (even if I have it running well on my phone).
Your Web site lists compatibility with this camera twice, once as got TF700T and then as Infinity Pad transformer.
The transformer is up-to-date with all the software, and I am running the latest version of the Google game.
If you are having problems with the Google game to download Firefox for Android tries to download these versions: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/#firefox .
Don't forget you must enable this settings: allows you to install app from other sources than the Google game

When I downloaded Firefox and checked my extensions, I've been informed that Firefox is not compatible with the prevention of malware from my Webroot security package. I use it successfully with Windows and just renewed for another year. What do you do to protect myself? I'm not a computer expert, so if you can answer in plain language that would be appreciated. In addition, we stream video much and I noticed that DivX is also not compatible. What should I do about it? Thank you.
Firefox has had its own fake Web / since 2008 malware protection.
http://www.Mozilla.com/en-us/Firefox/phishing-protection/Firefox Add-ons developers are responsible for these add-ons up to date as new versions of Firefox are available. Check with Webroot & DivX on updates for their Firefox extensions.
That said, the modules that are hosted on the official website of the AddonsMozilla.Org are tested and 'hit' by compatibility automatically, if these modules are considered to be compatible with a new version of Firefox that is about to be released. For modules that are not "compatible", the developer of the add-on Gets an email telling them basically what needs to be fixed. AMO extensions hosted are automatically updated as required by Firefox. The 'check' available updates each time is that Firefox is open.
For modules that are not hosted on AMO, there is a 'updateURL' function that allows to have Firefox check for an update across the internet, the a particular extension developer said. Unfortunately, too many developers take advantage of this feature and needlessly let their users to search an update themselves. who then need to manually install the hotfix or update version.
It's like a bunch of clowns of circus without master ring to 'bring in the clowns' at the right time in the show.

I have 2 copies of open Firefox (two different windows with lots of tabs), if I reboot can I restore the two sessions? I am familiar with clicking history / restoration of previous session, but do not want to reboot to let windows update to do it's thing unless I can restore the two sessions.

If they run different profiles, then Yes.
Thanks, but I use only 1 profile. However, I found the answer! If I restart/turn off / down pc WITHOUT closing a firefox session, he will come with the screen 'well, it's embarrassing"and list the TWO sessions to restore. The trick is not not to close before stopping! If you close them first, then you can only restore the session first (?).

I have a problem with Firefox 20.0.1 on Windows 7 with Shockwave flash 11.7.700.169. When I have access to a web site / web page with content that requires Shockwave (usually video) I can view the video, however, when I get out of Firefox, it will crash with "Firefox has encountered a problem - check for a solution...". ». I also have a website 'MyHeritage' that when I go to a family tree, I repeatedly receive a message "video driver has stopped working - NVIDIA driver... has successfully recovered. If I disable Shockwave, Firefox will not crash in both cases, unfortunately, I can't watch any video content.
I did go through the website of Adobe and put to day what I thought was my version of Shockwave, unfortunately that Manager for netscape V12.2 installed, I have disabled this plugin.
BTW - run Firefox in SafeMode (disabled add-on) arrested my NVIDIA driver crashing and also arrested Firefox crashing by exiting the application. Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date by using the Mozilla Plugin Check site.
Once you are there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions.
If you see in the list of plugins that have a yellow button to update or a red button update now , please put to update these immediately. To do this, click each red or yellow button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps in the installation process.

My problem started yesterday and I can't seem to fix the problem. Everytime I open firefox I am met with the annoying message of restoration, (it is usually boring, but because it happens every time I start firefox it really starts to bother me) even if I close all my tabs before hand, close firefox and then quit the program entirely. I can understand what happens if say that I force quit when I open tabs, but I'm not. And that too, has never been a problem before.
I use Firefox 20.0 on my Mac, running 10.7.5 (Lion).
I tried to uninstall/reinstall firefox.
I also deleted the sessionstore.bak and .js files. This fix works first, the first time I open firefox, but did not subsequently. Also, I would rather not completely turn off restore, if possible, because I might actually need to get my data at any given time.
I have three extensions on my browser: greasemonkey, Savior and Adblock tumblr more. Since I bought my computer 2 years ago, I had ABP on my browser. Greasemonkey and Savior of Tumblr I downloaded last night after this problem had already occurred.
A possible cause can be that you first close all Firefox Windows and then close the Firefox application.
Some noted that closing of Firefox (Firefox > Quit) while the browser window is always open works for them.
