  • OSB - compatibility of the versions of Weblogic version

    Hi all

We have Weblogic Server on 10.3.2 and would like to install OSB.

    I know 10gR 3 is compatible with WLS 10.3.2

I would like to know the latest versions of OSB 11 g compatible with WLS 10.3.2.

We have no plans on upgrading our Weblogic Server for future releases.

    Thank you

    Satya

I guess that 10gR 3 is compatible with WLS 10.3.2. To use superior versions of OSB, you need to upgrade your WLS as well. For more information, you can see the matrix of certification for the OSB above 10gR 3.

    Kind regards

  • Configure the new Oracle with HFM SSP database

    Hello

We have upgraded the oracle database to new version 11g. We use HFM 11.1.1.3 version. When I tried to configure the new database oracle with existing shared Services HFM, the EPM Configurator is suspended. Please could you clarify the below a few questions before starting the configuration of the database.

    1. don't we want to modify properties or configuration files before starting the EMP Configurator?

    2. If we want to edit the file reg.properties, which is the password shows in the file reg.properties (here is the structure of the reg.properties file)? If I have to give password of Oracle database schema?

    JDBC. URL = jdbc\:hyperion\:oracle\: / / xxxxx;
    password =?
    JDBC. Driver = Hyperion.JDBC.Oracle.OracleDriver
    local. Value = #.
    username = schemaname

    Thank you

Is it a new database server that you want to configure? As if he was just updated, you should not need to do anything.
If this is a new database server, then have a read of the doc within Oracle Support - "How To Change Shared Services repository database in EMP 11 [ID 976279.1]".

  • The Repository Maven Oracle ADF 12.2.1 update

    Hello

will there be an update of the Repository Maven Oracle with ADF 12.2.1 libraries?

If yes - that someone can say when it will be available.

Well, there is no need to open multiple threads on the same topic, just to bump existing thread.

Anyway, only Oracle employees may have this information so your best chance is to create the Service Request(if you have support account).

But don't expect much, Oracle policy is to withhold the release date for their products.

    Hello

I have the Oracle 10 g database in my production server *(windows 2000 server SP4) * and I use ODAC 11 g (11.1.0.6.21) for the connection of the .net code database.

During execution of the code, I get the following error: the vendor is not compatible with the version of the Oracle client.

But the same code works file in my system *(windows xp SP2) dev *.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    Thanks for the information.

One point that we have several versions of Oracle on the prod server. This can be a reason?

Yes, if an older version of the client is first in the system path. Can you verify the system path and confirm if an older version of the client is in the path before the 11.1.0.6 version?

    Thank you

  • Compatibility and the full version number of 10gR 3 OID

I'm a bit confused about the compatibility and version of the OID. Can anyone help?
SiteMinder r12 is compatible with the OID 10 gR 3 according to the Siteminder compatibility matrix.
When I try to find the version number of OID and in turn its compatibility with the operating system and database, I find it difficult to understand what version I should look for when I want to use OID 10 gR 3 (for example, it is 10.1.4.0.1 or 10.1.4.1 10.1.4.2 etc.)
There is no clear documentation provides this information. One of the documents (www.oracle.com/technology/.../internet_directory_wp_10gr3.pdf), it seems that 10.1.4.2
However when I goto download site there only 10.1.4.0.1.
In addition, according to the certification matrix OID 10.1.4 it said that it is compatible with OEL5, whereas that after downloading 10.1.4.0.1, it fails to install to complain that there need Red Hat Linux 3 or 4.
    Need help to understand this.

    Thank you

The baseline version is 10.1.4.1.0, all others are patches. Later in 10.1.4.3.0, which can be downloaded via MOS (formerly Metalink).
10G release 3 is marketing speak. 10.1.4.1 thru 10.1.4.3 are all 10 G Release 3 (but different patchlevels. Guess you can talk about OID 10 G release 3 patch 2, when you mean DIO V10.1.4.3.0 - technicians tend to use versions).

    Hello

    1. which edition of Windows are you using? Is - this edition is 32-bit or 64-bit?

Given that the game is compatible with Windows 7, I suspect that the conflict can be 32-bit or 64-bit architecture.
The link below shows the compatibility of this game with Windows 7.

    Method 1.
We must ensure that the edition of the game must correspond with the operating system.
If you use 64-bit in this game, you need the 64-bit Windows to install it.
    Method 2.
If the above information matching I you recommend to start the computer in clean condition and then try to install the game.
See the article below for instructions on how to start your computer in a clean boot state.

Note: When the diagnosis is complete, don't forget to reset your computer to normal startup. Follow step 7 in the above article.

  • Program, managing your money get the version of the file is not compatible with Windows Vista

I'm trying to run an old program, manage his money, on Vista Home Premium 64 - bit. It ran OK on Win XP. When I try to run the setup.exe, I get error - "the version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows hou are running." I tried to use the program compatibility Wizard. No help. Same mistake. Anything else I can try?

If you get this error and the Compatibility Mode doesn't help, then the program simply is not compatible with this version of Vista, and if you want the program, you will need to check with the manufacturer to see if they make a full install version which is compatible with Vista and buy the program more recent.  If they do not have such a version, then I'm afraid you're just out of luck with this program.  The only other option MIGHT be Virtual PC, but even that is not a guarantee and is a little extreme just to get an old program running.

Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear, but it's like that.

    Good luck!

  • We have SQL Server 2005 cluster (3 node cluster), and if we improve this nodes to 2008 R2, the databases associated with the named instance can stay to the version of SQL Server 2005?

    original title: SQL Server 2008

We have SQL Server 2005 cluster (3 node cluster) and if we improve this nodes to 2008 R2, can the databases associated with the named instance remain to the version of SQL Server 2005, I seem to disagree with this notion, but still need to validation of the pro.

One way I can think of to achieve this scenario changes the compatibility level to SQL Server 2005 when the node has been upgraded to SQL Server 2008, so we can upgrade databases to SQL 2008 as and when the vendors provide support for this version.

    Hello

always check the compatibility of vista programs on the link below

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-Vista/default.aspx

If a program is compatible with vista you can try right click on the setup.exe, and then selecting run as administrator

It is not compatible with vista, you can try running it in a previous operating system mode

This does not work for all programs

    read the information below

  • The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you are runing problem.

IM facing problem installing some software: the error message is below to:

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows that you are running, check your computer's system information to see whether you need a x 86 version or x 64 of this program and then contact the software publisher

while trying to change the compatibility to windows 7 option does not appear

Windows 7 will not be included within the compatibility list, because you are already using Windows 7. Your only option is to contact the Publisher of software (the company that built the program) and get a version that works with your computer type (64 bit or 32 bit, whichever one you have).

  • "This version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you are using. Check your computer's system information to see if you need a x 86 (32 bit) or x 64 (64-bit) version of the program.

    Hello

I seem to be having problems when you try to install a program on my Windows 7 that allows to launch on my Windows XP and Windows Vista. I used the tool to solve compatibility problems and selected these settings in the CONFIGURATION file, but nothing seems to work the error message I get is as follows:

"This version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you are using. Check your computer's system information to see if you need a x 86 (32 bit) or x 64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher. »

Is it possible to set my computer to allow this program to run successfully? Any solution would be greatly useful.

    Hello Rdforbe,

The problem is a software that was created for Windows 95, 98, and Windows XP has no way to work correctly with an operating system that didn't even exist when the software was written. However, the error message you get normally means that you have a 32-bit software that you are trying to install on a 64-bit system.

To find out if your computer is running 32-bit Windows or 64-bit, follow these steps:
System opened by clicking on the button start , by clicking on the Control Panel, click System.
Under system, you can view the system type. This will describe if you have 32-bit or 64-bit.

You can also try compatibility mode.

If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.

    Use the following steps:

    (1) right click on the program

    2) click Properties

    3) click on the Compatibility tab

    (4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.

Check out the link here: make sure to run older programs in this version of Windows

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

If you are running Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate version, install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP mode (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/default.aspx) and run your software in Windows XP.

If you run Windows 7 Home Premium, try VirtualBox (www.virtualbox.org) or VMware Player (www.vmware.com), or any other software virtualization part 3rd and install a separate copy of Windows XP (family or professional edition) for this purpose. You can find the virtualization software free that will run on Windows 7 Home Premium.

    I hope this helps.
