The Repository Maven Oracle ADF 12.2.1 update
Hello
will there be an update of the Repository Maven Oracle with ADF 12.2.1 libraries?
If yes - that someone can say when it will be available.
Well, there is no need to open multiple threads on the same topic, just to bump existing thread.
Anyway, only Oracle employees may have this information so your best chance is to create the Service Request(if you have support account).
But don't expect much, Oracle policy is to withhold the release date for their products.

Import the features of Oracle ADF BC with Jdeveloper 11.1.1.2
Hi all
I use Jdeveloper 11.1.1.2 and I try to import functionality in my application.
I'm following the steps of: http://andrejusb.blogspot.com/2008/07/import-functionality-in-oracle-adf-bc.html
I have 2 data model and I would like to import the features of the data model, in the other.
My problem is when I tried: myModel2-> right click-> properties-> project-> edit deployment
I see nothing to filter the myModel2, I see only dependencies of libraries, connections, JAR Options ADF Validation.
If I tried: myModel2-> right click-> properties-> project deployment-> new-> filters
I see only the folders: merges the contents of this folder group, .data 00000000 employee
But I do not see the records that I have (mypackage.test.model.entities).
Where I can the found? Is there a solution?
Any suggestions?
Thank you

Update the issue in Oracle ADF in JDeveloper
Hi all
My ADF application is to have around 350 forms. Application size is 700 MB. I am facing a problem of refreshment in this application. whenever I'm changing all requests in the view of the objects or research it is not reflecting immediately. Say: I changed a single query. Then I deployed the application means the application takes the old query. to take the modified query, I rebuilt the view object. Whenever I am faced with this same problem. A few times in 2-3 deployments it is modified by itself (without the refurbishment) and work very well. Some time after 10 times as he takes the old query only. Whenever I have rebuilt in order to solve this problem. Please help me solve this problem. I use oralce 11g.
Try to invoke any operation of cleaning before you deploy the application.
In the main Menu-> build--> pure all

Hello everyone.
Using Jdeveloper 12.1.3 with extensions "Integration of JUnit BC4J" and "Integration of JUnit.
I created a maven project using JUnit to create unit tests. This is dependency added to my pom.xml file in JDeveloper after configuration created the first unit test:
<dependency> <groupId>com.oracle.adf.library</groupId> <artifactId>JUnit-4-Runtime</artifactId> <version>12.1.3-0-0</version> <type>pom</type> <scope>test</scope> </dependency>
If I compile and run my tests from JDeveloper whatever it works but once I order my source code and build the project Hudson (Continuous Integration server), it fails. The error shown in the console of Hudson's (CommonCode is the name of the project I'm building):
[ERROR] Cannot run the goal on the CommonCode project: could not resolve the project com.company.project.common:CommonCode:jar:1.0 - SNAPSHOT dependencies: could not collect the dependencies to com.oracle.adf.library:JUnit - 4 - Runtime:pom:12.1.3 - 0-0-> com.oracle.adf:junit:jar: [12.1.3,12.1.4): no version available for com.oracle.adf:junit:jar: [12.1.3,12.1.4) in this range-> [help 1]]]
I have already installed the plugin maven-oracle-sync and completing my private repository (Artifactory) as described in this document. However, when I browse my private repository I can't find the artifact com.oracle.adf:junit:jar: [12.1.3,12.1.4) and I guess that's why my build has failed.]
Why JDeveloper add a dependency that is not included when the maven-oracle-sync plugin is pushed on the maven repository?
I forgot to mention that, when you use the following dependency for JUnit instead of one provided by Jdeveloper, the project compiles in my continuous integration server:
<dependency> <groupId>junit</groupId> <artifactId>junit</artifactId> <version>4.11</version> <scope>test</scope> <type>jar</type> </dependency>
Clues about why Jdeveloper adds a dependency that cannot be met by the maven-oracle-sync plugin?
Thank you.
Alexis
Hello
Please check below blog.
https://blogs.Oracle.com/Groundside/entry/maven_and_adfbc_unit_tests
A question which has developed recently turned around to configure your Maven POM in 12.1.3, such that you can run the JUnit Tests ADF BC successfully interactively in the IDE and headless via Maven perhaps in your work of Hudson. Out of the box, the default value that you will end up with POM will be missing two vital pieces of information and need a little extra configuration.
Once you have created some unit tests JDeveloper will have added dependencies for JUnit extensions JDeveloper JUnit, something like this:
com Oracle.ADF.Library JUnit-4-LIFE 12.1.3 - 0-0 POM test com Oracle.ADF.Library JUnit-Runtime 12.1.3 - 0-0 POM test Thank you

Jdev Version: JDEVADF_11.1.1.7.2ADF - FAREL8 - BP_GENERIC_131030.1412.6661.3
Click and cancel popup, we see the following in the console:
< oracle.adf.view > < UnifiedPopupTag > < setVisible > < 'visible' accessor property Set uses a no-op implementation. Used in the extreme cases, when the value of the property, beyond the default value, leads to undesirable behaviors. >
Is this a problem? If so, suggestions on how to fix?
Thank you
R
This message is a warning that you somehow try to use the setVisible of a popup that does not work as it does nothing. The setVisible() method is obsolete and does nothing but write the message in the log.
There is not that you can do about it, but to avoid calling setVisible on the popup.
Do you have somewhere in your code call setVisible on the popup (or use the visible property of the popup on the page?

Share the repository in OEM for OBIEE 11.1.1.7
Hi all
I'm working on Essbase, I had the chance to work on OBIEE.Installed and configured successfully.
Database: 11g R2
UCR: 11.1.1.7
OBIEE: 11.1.1.7
I created a model with a single Essbase application and uploaded to the repository in Oracle Enterprise Manager and began to create some analysis.
Now, I created a different model with another Essbase application and uploaded to the repository in OEM, now in OBIEE I can not access the earlier.
I got to know why we have to use the repository share, but I am unable to set the location for it
I tried with several options but its not allowing to update the location of the repository of the action, get the error "'did not apply the information in the repository" "
An acceptable syntax is: "/ net/machine/disk3/sharedrpddata ', I tried with below those
- \ORACLE_INSTANCE\bifoundation\OracleBIServerComponent\coreapplication_obisn\repository
- $ORACLE_INSTANCE\bifoundation\OracleBIServerComponent\coreapplication_obis1\repository
- \\MachineName\C$\OBIEE11g\instances\instance1\bifoundation\OracleBIServerComponent\coreapplication_obis1\repository
Can you please help me solve this problem?
Or can you please let me know where to start?Thank you
Alain

How to set the repository in OBIEE
Hi all
I am a new user of OBIEE. Can someone tell me what exactly is the repository?
Also, I would say that the OBIEE is a great discoverer game? Or we cannot compare these two products?
Any other information about OBIEE is much appreciated.
Thank you
CAHHi HPC.
You can compare the repository of Oracle BI EE to the layer of the end-user (LUF) of Oracle Discoverer. The repository is based on files the EUL is stored in the database.
Oracle Discoverer and Oracle BI EE are two different products.
Compare http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/enterprise-edition.html to http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/bi/standard-edition.html
Good luck

I just downloaded and installed JDEVADF_12.1.2.0.0_GENERIC_130608.2330.6668 for JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 12.1.2.0.0 on Windows 7 Pro.
I am building a project using the support of new and improved, but faced Maven to a build failure.
Here is a partial result:

Should Oracle downloaded dependency missing in the Maven repository or is - this is something that I'm supposed to manage?

OK, so I clicked on some button that adds a bunch of dependencies my pom.xml. I removed the and it relies very well now. Which still doesn't explain why all but one of the dependencies was found on the Maven repository.
Here's what added to the pom:

Repository using Maven with ADF
Hi all
I did a little reinforcement autour with Maven in recent weeks. As we know, Oracle ADF libraries are not available on all public deposits of Maven. Now, this is not a problem, we can create an individual/enterprise Maven repository for libraries.
My question: is there any effort underway, either within the Oracle, either, to standardize the "coordinates" for these libraries in the hierarchy of Maven repository? I think to create a repostitory staff/company with these libraries, and if there is a standard for how they should be named, which would save me time in the future event that Oracle decides to host a Maven repository for their libraries (for example).
Best regards
JohnJohn,
based on a recent client requirement, I'm about to file an ER for such a repository.

Hello
I noticed that the following errors appear often in my custom portals managed servers. Can anyone tell why these errors appear as I applied all the necessary patches?

The getCurrent method on the oracle.adf.share.ADFContext class is not allowed
Hi all
I've migrated my old project i.e 12.1.3 to new version 12.2.1.
After the migration of the project where ever, we use ADFContext.getCurrent () .getSessionScope () .put ("dummy", 1);
put the variable in the session. We receive the exception as Houston-25150: the getCurrent method on the oracle.adf.share.ADFContext class is not allowed. In the earlier version, but its works very well.
What will be the question. Please can someone let me know.
Thank you
Amar
This error except for security, so try to use the expression adf.context.current.sessionScope.get ("dummy") (or attempt to use this as a groovy adf.context.sessionScope.dummy expression) attribute EO and trustMode = "true" for this attribute set.

Hi all
We use JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 12.1.3.0.0 and deployed on GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 3.1.2.2 (build 5) and connect to the SQLServer database.
Is it possible to create a shuttle component in Oracle ADF, where the available and selected lists are tables of the adf?
I did a POC sample on it. I can share with you. I can't put in my dropbox because dropbox is blocked in my network. Share your email. I'll send the POC through
