• Sony Xperia Z3 headset problem.

  I have a HTC brand headset but when I connect it to my Xperia Z3, no sound coming out of the earpiece. But the sound coming out of the speaker on the phone instead. However, my Xperia Z3 headphones that come with the phone when I buy works well without any problem. Can someone tell me what is happening and how to fix it?

  It's a compatibility problem, the phone works perfectly with Sony headphones and same samsung, so the phone sound fine, your HTC headset works with other phones but not Sony, there of nothing wrong with the phone or the helmet, just a compatibility issue.

  The Xperia Z5 Premium does not pass the controls provided by the Android API SafetyNet. http://developer.Android.com/training/SafetyNET/index.html the Xperia Z5 and Compact pass controls, I think that it is an oversight on the process of certification of Google Services.

  The result of the real world is that SafetyNet is used to detect if you are using custom firmware. Any application that uses the SafetyNet to check if you are stock fails with a stock out of the box of Xperia Z5 Premium. I've had other Xperia Z5 Premium users test and they have all failed (with all Z5/Z5C passing).

• A backup made with "Backup And Restore" on xperia z2 cannot be downloaded to a synchronization service?

  I backed up my xperia messages, contacts and more... (checked eveything) in "Backup And Restore" application and I chose to go back to my sd card. Now, when I go to the command file and look for the back up, I can't find (the file is that contains all the data that I saved), also it is not present in my memory. The reason why I want to find is that I want to upload to syncing like Dropbox or Mega service, because it takes so much space on my sd card.

  I tried to find the backup also file to manage the files from the device to the computer, but it is not found, and if I browse the application backup and restore on my xperia, I see that I can restore the backup that I did.

  However, is it possible that I can download the backup that I did with backup and restore application on my xperia to a synchronization service?

  I find best details at 2MP. But because the resolution is too low for today pictures that I stick to 8 megapixels, at the current firmware Sony, works much better than 20/23MP. (It is a problem that must be fixed, photos should have the same details in 2MP/8MP/23MP). 23MP is completely useless at the moment.

• The music will not be displayed on walkman

  I just got the xperia z1 yesterday compact and im having problems with the walkman application. First music lags all the time, to play music from sd card. I have like 500 songs on it. So, I read on a forum that I need to move songs from internal storage, so I moved as 150 songs and just delete the other older songs because it took too long to cut.

  So now I got the songs from internal storage and everything works very well and smoothly. So now, I tried to download some songs that I lost but it will not be displayed on walkman app but it made file Commander and he also one time, but can't find on walkman app.

  Then I found more information in different forums and I read that I have to go to settings > apps > storage media > clear data. The data that I had to delete looked like only 14MB. So I did this and rebooted the phone, but when I returned on walkman app he revealed nothing. It only says "no content available. But when I go to the file Commander all if my songs are still there. I rebooted my phone like 6 times already, but usually still appear.

  Hi guys, my xperia z3 new compact arrived today, but I'm having some trouble

  I want my phone displays a banner that scrolls down from the top of the screen when I receive a text message sender and message alert name post content (such as banners on iphone) phones me that I have a new SMS message, this banner should I show when I use

  I think the difference here is the versions of software in your phones (or perhaps the e-mail application used). The old version with Android 4.4 you will see name of shippers without drag down the notification bar but in Android 5/5.1 you will need to slide down the notification at the top bar to see a preview when using our messaging app. But if you go to Hangouts for SMS you need not slide down. Open meeting places and go to settings-> SMS-> SMS disabled to switch to meeting places.

• Audio distortion with headphones

  So I only got my Xperia Z5 for a week or two. This morning, I put on music, and in the middle of my commute to work the sound became saturated. He was really strong bass notes that has overshadowed everything and bad static which crosses. I tested my headphones on different applications on the phone - music Amazon and Youtube - and the sound was still distorted. I also tinkered around with the sound settings and restarted my phone several times. No change.

  I tested my headphones on my PC and excluded from my helmet as the possible source of distortion. It's certainly the Xperia Z5 Act up.

  Anyone has any idea why?

  I checked that my software is up to date as well. The sound was fine until this morning. :/
