Alex,

Your will have to do an exact model on each suffix:

DV:http://partsurfer.hp.com/WSearch.aspx?Wchar=Y&searchText=dv9244ea

ZD:http://partsurfer.hp.com/WSearch.aspx?Wchar=Y&searchText=zd8270ea

My small company uses JustHost to host our Web site.

Is it possible to update the site, so it can be displayed correctly in Firefox?

"Compatibility view" is a crutch for IE users, since the days when Microsoft thought they controlled the internet and had their own 'standards '.

You have some Fixin ' to do. All it may take is a tweak of the main CSS file, but it will take more than that.

  • Customer display 5.0.0 and compatibility view connection server 5.1

Curently we run see 5.0.0 eviorment but we are planing an upgrade in 5.1 mode and I'm a little confused abut compatibility view 5.1 server connection and view customer 5.0.0.

Here in this compatibility matrix, it seems that customer 5.0.0 and 5.1 server are compatible.

    ena.JPG
And here, in this compatibility matrix, it looks like this only 5.01 client is compatible with Server 5.1

    dva.JPG

So if I upgrade the servers to connect to 5.1 will be users with 5.0.0 customers still able to connect to their desktop?

    Best regards, Primoz

Customer display 5.0 is compatible with the 5.1 server connection; However, the 4.x clients are not. That's what you see above.

  • vSphere & compatibility view

Advisor upgrade VMware says still vCenter 4.0 & ESX 4.0. Anyone know when will release a compatible version of vSphere view? In addition, no one knows:

    1. If I upgrade to vSphere my Manager current view continue to operate connecting clients to the virtual machines or the update would make view unusable?

    2. I guess that the upgrade to vSphere would cause a composer unable to create new pools, anyone can check?

    3. Any thoughts on what other negative impact the vSphere upgrade would have on a view production environment?

    > Advisor upgrade VMware says still vCenter 4.0 & ESX 4.0. Anyone know when will release a compatible version of vSphere view? In addition, no one knows:

View 4.0 is in beta, but VMware will not comment on any future versions

If I upgrade to vSphere my Manager current view continue to operate connecting clients to the virtual machines or the update would make view unusable?

I have not upgraded until View4.0 is officially supported. If you use linked clones that it won't work.

    exactly.

Any thoughts on what other negative impact the vSphere upgrade would have on a view production environment?

My thoughts go until it is supported, wait. Everything that issues that can arise using view 3.x on vSphere4 environment will come down to an environment not supported.

  • XP PRO PC or by default in the view of compatibility in Yahoo

After having been aware that Microsoft is so more to support XP programs after the end of the month of March, it has been a matter of concern for some time that we need to update soon.

We had recently a problem with Yahoo or by default in compatibility view each time, which disables the clunky downloads and links.

Is it because XP is an old program?

If anyone knows of any ways to solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

  • Muse from view of compatibility of Internet Explorer 11 - on intranet pages

    Hello

We recently started using Adobe Muse to create intranet sites for our company. What happens is that Internet Explorer 11 is by default set to 'intranet Sites to view in compatibility view '. This setting can be changed in tools > compatibility view settings and uncheck "display intranet sites in compatibility view. However, we do not want to ask end users to do this just to display an intranet site.

The compatibility view is causing pages to appear broken, hover over the items that don't appear not correctly, pages have text where text should not be, layouts are off, etc.

I tried a meta tag to override this setting in IE11 and it works. The tag will in your html < head > to disable compatibility view and display the page normally. It's this meta tag: < meta http-equiv = "X-UA-Compatible" content = "IE = 11" / >

When I entered the following meta tag in Muse > Page Properties > metadata, Internet Explorer will not picking up the meta tag to turn off compatibility view. I read about this and it's because the entered meta tag is placed near the end of the < head > tag - close to the < / head > tag. When I go into Dreamweaver to edit the html code, I place the < meta http-equiv = "X-UA-Compatible" content = "IE = 11" / > tag just below the head of <>tag, save and try to open the page in IE11 on my intranet. It works! Compatibility view gets turned OFF

I don't want to keep tweaking the html metadata whenever I publish. Is it possible to precisely place this line of code in a project Muse so they could publish at the top of the list in the < head > area? It's about saving lives.

We understand the demand to be able to settle this in the .html files generated by Muse, but it is very unlikely to be part of a release of the Muse before the summer. Thus the only timely at this address way is to configure the server to include a response header specific when serving files .html in the structure of the folders in your site. "Server configuration" seems the whole, but in general, this means putting a few lines in a configuration file in the folder root of your site, but exactly what needs to be done is very specific to the server used.
