  In General, is not a big problem to use a SSD instead of a HARD common drive.
  The laptop supports the SATA interface and you use a SSD SATA 2.5 disk.
  I can't recommend a specific brand, but in some rare cases, it may be possible that you need to update SSD firmware offering SSD manufacturer

  I don't think it's a good idea to install an SSD in a nc6400.

  Now, if you insist on trying, then I recommend that you get an Intel drive as the 335 series.

  Crucial is not normal. The discs are not only thinner than normal that they have an eccentric interface:

  

  See page 40 of the manual. A regular SATA interface drive does not work, I'm afraid.

  If your computer requires a sector 15V t adapter, you can choose a 19V adapter. With other words, the AC adapter you mentioned is not compatible.

  In your case, I would buy the same Toshiba AC adapter you already have. Just search with this number in Google to find online shops or contact the service provider authorized in your country.

  I have an addition an Acer Aspire VN7-591 G-70RT with a slow 5400 RPM 1 TB WD Blue that creates a bottleneck in my laptop.

  I checked on Crucial to see if there are compatible SSD for my laptop which recommended:

  MX200 crucial m2 Type 2280 (Single Sided) 250 GB internal SSD

  I was wondering, do anyone know if this information is correct? I was having mixed information online, 250 GB wouldn't cut my storage needs, if I could only get a 2.5 SSD "so my intention is to have an SSD 250 installed and my 1 TB HARD drive.

  Also, if the SSD was not the main drive would I still see the benefits of installing games who him? As in would be the existing WD blue always be causing a bottleneck?

  I have the device works now, I installed the MX200 Crucial m2 250G without any problem. Here's how.

  WEAR AN ANTI STATIC BAND:

  Step 1) remove all the screws on the underside of the laptop

  Step 2) use spudger or credit GENTLY lift a gap between the keyboard and the base, then use the credit card to slide slowly into the space to jump open clips, NOT FORCE.

  Step 3) (OPTIONAL) remove the keyboard connectors by moving clip and gently remove the cable from the Jack. However the HARD drive slipped in for me without necessary to detach.

  Step 4) unplug original WD HDD blue reversing the clip and disconnect the cable

  Step 5) close laptop together and boot with Windows 10 USB install

  Step 6) install windows on new SSD (for me windows automatically activated via the BIOS/UEFI) if it doesn't happen for you, simply re-attatch the original HARD disk.

  Step 7) if the activation is successful, again set HARD drive and original format. I have kept all the original ACER RECOVERY and Partitions (Healthy) in case I need to restore factory default, but formatted primary partition.

  I got excellent results with SSD OCZ and OWC. I also used Samsung 840 and 850 (not professional) without any problem on several of my computers. OCZ and SSD from OWC are quite compatible.

• Questions new installation HD SSD for MacBook Pro

  I followed the online instructions how to install the SSD for my MacBook Pro. I then rebooted by Mac in recovery mode and formatted the drive in Mac OS extended (journaled). It was a little bit tricky message sometimes giving such as erasure of disk failures, but eventually it worked. I selected to install the OS on this HD. The image of the OS were first shown on OS X Lion, but my current OS is El Capitan. I just figured that he was installing the original operating system provided with the mac. The installation went well but then we he had finished wen timer back to 1 hour, 46 minutes. He made several times and after 6 hours, I decided to leave and start over. The second time after erasing HD and formatting again the OS that came was El Capitan for installation so I continued. This time, the installation has been completed and at the end says "OS could not be installed on my computer, reboot and try again."   -Connect an external drive and install OSX on this disc and boot from this facility and see if you have any problems

  Any SSD with a box 2.5 "will be compatible with your MBP.  I recommend OWC SSD or critical based on my experience and other participants of CSA veterans.

  I installed Windows 8 Pro but I can't access my BIOS. Whenever I try to press F2, I have access to 5 options down on my screen, but when I choose one and press ENTER, nothing happens, it take me just on Windows 8!
