  I have my page apex in the attribute of the HTML Body with some Javascript functions I wrote to determine the following:

  These disable a group of radio buttons and two text fields and work as expected, the values in the controls, I can't change the values and the values are changed properly when I navigate to the next record.

  When I try to edit a field that allow entry and try to save the changes when the page is submitted, I have an error message stating that the required fields are null (these are the same fields that I disabled).
  
  Is this expected behavior? or I'm doing something very wrong?

  Your code re - order the value correctly, but you don't have the update attribute in the element.

  Try this,

  Here's how you can select the first item without having to know what it is:

  Set the value of the drop-down list to the first element cb1

  I can assign the value using javascript on normal form of table as below:

  I created a matrix report, enabled the conditional formatting. The only problem I have right now is to go to a link in the report.

  I use 3 text elements Apex - P1_ID, P1_NAME and P1_URL.

  I use also 3 dynamic actions

  1. DEFINE NAME - will set the P1_NAME field with the value clicked in the report.

  2 SET ID & URL - define the fields P1_ID and P1_URL of the DB using the P1_NAME field.

  3-pop-up-appears the P1_URL using javascript.

  Problem statement:

  The pop up page is a blank page, although I can see that the value for the P1_URL field is defined using dynamic measurements.

  Could someone please take a look at this example and help me with the same.

  PS: The example was developed using sample data.

  When you use the substitution in JavaScript string, the value is used when page and is pretty hard-coded in the document value.

  Even if you change the value of the element or the element value in session state, it will not happen to the HTML document.

• Extract PDF form data using JavaScript and write in the CSV file

  I received a PDF file with a form.  The form is * not * formatted as a table.  My requirement is to extract form field values and write into a CSV file that can be imported into Excel.  I tried using the menu item "Merge data from spreadsheet files" automated in Acrobat Pro, but the release includes both the labels and values.  I'm mostly just interested in the form field values.

  I would use JavaScript to extract the data from the form and learn JavaScript write CSV file (since I know what should look like the spreadsheet of end).  I got regarding the extraction of the fields in the form:

  The code you have posted works fine for me in the JavaScript console, so I suspect the problem is something else. Where did he put the code and y at - he seized another code?

  In addition, if CSV is not a strong requirement, I would say that you use delimited by tabs instead. Fields normally cannot contain tab characters, this is a good qualifier to use. It will be also more reliable when you import in Excel. • Referencng a Page in another Page item value

  I'm relatively new to Apex and I was using the Apex 4.2 Application guide to try to understand among other things session state. Could someone clarify if the following text, which is confirmed by the official user guide is accurate:

  "When a user sends a page, the engine request Express automatically saves the values typed in the fields (items) in session state. For example, assume that you have an application that contains two pages. The first page of the application contains a form where a user can enter a phone number. You have defined this form by creating a named item P2_PhoneNo . On the second page, you want to display the information that the user enters in the form.

  When the page is submitted, Oracle Application Express captures the value entered in the phone number field and stores the value for later use. The phone number entered by the user can then be retrieved from session state by referencing the element associated with the field in the page. »

  What that means for me is that I should be able to reference/use a point value entered in a field (P1_SUPPLIER_NR on Page 1) on region SQL report IE another page Page 2, as follows: "SELECT... WHERE supplier_nr = : P1_SUPPLIER_NR'. What I found though, is that the value of P1_SUPPLIER_NR is always NULL when accessing the Page 2. I don't know how to move a Page 1 value to use in the Page 2, but the text seems to indicate that I am not explicitly change the value between the 2 Pages.

  I use Apex 4.2 with the EPG and I am speaking here of Page elements rather than the Application parts. Any comments or links to articles relevant etc. are all welcome.

  So, I think, at this stage, your question has been answered, though perhaps not the answer you were hoping for.

  So that the value of Page 1 to be available to Page 2, the condition is that it must be defined in the session. As a beginner describes, how the simpler to proceed is junction of the page 1 page 2 following a send operation. There are other ways, through JavaScript, to put it in the session, but if your goal is less work, then this probably isn't it answer for you.

  For what it's worth, branching and defining the corresponding items in the resulting page are the more standard way of doing things.

  The idea is that whenever the g_f02 (a selection list) element changes, call the JS function with two parameters: a checkbox (g_f01) and another select list (g_f03). The function should change the items in a defined values. The box changes ok thanks for the help I had yesterday, but I can't work with the third element (list g_f03). When I try to show the value, it says no "defined."
  
  How can I see the real value of the LOV selection list and change to 1, for example?

  Try this:

  or

  }
  

  but of course it is jquery

  Edit: second work because the element name is P1_SQRT -, as a variable in the function definition. If U accept jquery U should combinate with this example and I think it should work fine

• How can I download and run updates of Java, when my browser simply refuses to go the recommended Web sites or any other Web page using JavaScript?

  I can't go to the Java website to download the updates in the Firefox browser and it will not go to other sites that use JavaScript. I tried disabling my firewall, but this makes no difference.

  I noticed with some sites I can enter them, but I cannot view items that have been created with JavaScript, for example. my own Web site at http://shaedandu.com.au... Some objects such as my Thawte security seals do not appear, and even other people tell me that they appear on the live version that they see in their browser.

  I cleaned my internet cache several times in the last week... Return to Windows Internet Explorer help either, even though I prefer Firefox my default browser.
