The compilation is successful, and we can see the output.

Note that the project is under SVN (tortoise). It does not generate an error when compiled on the computer where it resides. The errors come when compiling the other machine.

Can someone tell me the source of these errors?

We discovered the source of these warnings. If the project is compiled through RoboHelp and then through the command line interface, the errors do not appear.
By comparing the. PSS files, we noted differences in the path of the LANGUAGE between the generated file on the source computer and one generated on the build computer. It turns out that this parameter the path to the source files under control of version in the same directory structure soved the problem.

  • Command line and Resource Manager

When you use the command line to compile a Robohelp project, is it possible to update the resources shared within the project before generation?

For example, you have Project1 and uses snippet1 in this project. However, snippet1 has been changed in the Resource Manager (just say, for the sake of argument, that snippet1 is also used in Project2, and you changed the extract it and it synchronized to the Resource Manager). When you do a regular command line compilation, the extract is not updated.

Is it possible to synchronize the excerpts and images from the resource manager in the project before proceeding with compiling from command line (other than opening the project and sync manually)? After all, if I have to open the project, there is no reason for the compilation command line since I was already there and can just compile the project.

    Thank you!

I found a way around this!

RoboHelp does not care if the files are updated through the application or through Windows Explorer (such as copying the latest file in the project folder).

I created a simple batch file copies and replace any file that is older than the file that is located in the resource manager. This allows RoboHelp pull into the updated files in a command-line compilation. There is always a way!

However, I found something problematic with the command line compilation. I started a new thread to ask about it.

  • Strange error with RHCL RH10 and RH11 command-line compilation

    Hello once again, RoboHelp gurus!

I feel a strange error using the compilation process command-line rchl in RoboHelp 10 and 11 of RoboHelp.

Here is the command I use:

The created FichierJournal.txt has no mention of ""LILo: BIBCientInit could not initialize "it contains."  Compiling builds without problem, as far as I can tell.

The same thing happens when I do not create the log during the cmd file and it errors record right "compensation output folder.  But, it seems to me that the output folder does not actually get disabled.

This allows the viewing of the compilation process line by line in the cmd prompt window.  When the compiler indicates "output Compensation folder...". ', the ' LILo: BIBCientInit failed to initialize "error message appears twice, and then the process continues.

    Here's the command:

  • Visual c# command line compiler

    Greetings,

About 14 days ago I received an error message at startup 'command line compiler Visual c# has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. "I click on 'Close' and after a few more screens (same message), the laptop is now running.

I studied this during two weeks at three sites including two Microsoft sites. No one has an answer. However, when I searched Microsoft technical support I have referred me to the Sony because of the OEM license. So, I find myself in this forum.

I found according to my research it is a file associated with this - csc.exe. I don't know if it is the cause or not. From research it is a component in C++ and associated with .NET. When I stop I get another error "the application could not initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application. »

I have tried to use sfc but only get to 96% and received the message "Windows Resource Protection found violations of integrity." BTW, I'm under sfc since a high cmd prompt. I also ran check and looked at the newspapers. Because the paper is too large, but neither the newspaper for analysis or check all the items close to what I feel, I am enclosing details of the sfc.

I have Norton 360 with virus update subscriptions and also ran CCleaner and SpyBot (I do it each month).

I don't know what to do. I'm not a programmer and most of the Visual c# sites are for programmers, and told me that if my post is specific, in writing, or debug code, I need to ask for help from someone else.

I also did the clean boot, add services, and startups. I can't find the program or the offending service. I am at a loss. I need help. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello Legman,
    Thank you for your message
It is quite possible that you may encounter a hardware problem if you have a C drive recovery and that you always encounter the error.
Try to run the hidden partition hardware diagnostic software.

to access the partition hidden startup cold.
Spam [F10] several times from the VAIO logo
Press ENTER to "Edit boot options".
Once the recovery tools launch hardware diagnostics select.

If the hard drive test fails to contact alternative service.

When I have this build inside the Eclipse, everything works fine and the app works well on the Blackberry.

Did I miss something specific in the command line for compiling?

And to save everybody a headache reading this, this is the command to sign the application from the command line (which seems to work):

     java -jar "SignatureTool.jar" -a -c -p D:\AppLaunch\AppLaunch\AppLaunch.cod

I'm sure I thought about her.

    I had to change - midlet to-CLDC

    rapc import=net_rim_api.jar codename=D:\AppLaunch\AppLaunch\AppLaunch -CLDC D:\AppLaunch\AppLaunch\AppLaunch.jad D:\AppLaunch\AppLaunch\src\AppLaunch.java

  • "Error: unknown protocol: c ' on the install command line + launch, after 'Throw error' on FB4 install + launch

Just try to get AIRHelloWorld.as installed and launched on the Simulator, and I encountered some problems.

With the help of FB4 (v4.0.1), I get the following by following the instructions at http://docs.blackberry.com/en/developers/deliverables/21877/Testing_your_application_from_FB4_134713...

for the configs of type "Run", he pretended to install and launch, but does nothing. ".

for the launches of type "Debug", after he sat down to "Waiting for Adobe Flash Player to connect to the debugger" for awhile:

    "The launch has failed."

"Failed to connect; session has expired.

    Ensure that:

    1. you have compiled your Flash application with debugging on

    2. you run the debug version of Flash Player. »

The advice of the thread here - http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Tablet-OS-SDK-for-Adobe-AIR/Launch-Failed-Launching-Error/m-p... - I went to try from the command line with the following command:

    > blackberry-airpackager-bin-debug package AIRHelloWorld.bar - installApp - launchApp - C AIRHelloWorld - app.xml AIRHelloWorld.swf - device 192.168.152.128

    That I get:

    "Error: unknown protocol: c.

    Any help is appreciated.

Alrighty, for those who wish to learn from my mistake, do not use the default path to your workspace in Windows XP. Place your project files in a path that has no spaces in it. Otherwise the code that reads XML application descriptor will throw and give you this completely useful message on the "unknown protocol".

    For more information...

According to SUN ( http://bugs.sun.com/view_bug.do?bug_id=6506304 ), it's a regression of jdk1.5, so it can be bound to the version of Java that was used to create the blackberry airpackager. My recommendation to any dev BBPB watch this forum is to use another (earlier? Since jdk6 won't necessarily be released because of the Oracle) jdk for the set of tools... you know, if you want to support default Windows XP installed and you have the time. The solution is pretty easy once you know.

Alrighty, now off to see if things work!

  • Build errors from command line in the newspaper. How can I fix it?

    Version: RH 9 (latest version)

    OS: Windows 7, 64-bit

    Output: CHM

I have a batch file that uses features of generation of HR command line to generate our CHMS regularly.

The command line works for my other projects. But I have a project that has three different CHMS issued, and each chm of the project always fails.

Each three generated log file contains information to that effect.

    Scanning for the compilation project...

Error: Impossible to analyze all project files. Please use RoboHelp to recover the project.

Unexpected error: failed to prepare the data of the single source for RHCL. Please try to compile in RoboHTML.

Any ideas? Moreover, these AIDS compile fine with HR itself.

Okay, deleting the CPD and reimport the file HHP to recreate the XPJ and all other project files fixed this problem for me. They seem to be build by using the command line now.

But he created a LOT of work: build all the page layouts should be recreated and all conditional compilation tags had to be regenerated.

If you go this route, be sure to make a backup of your project first you may have to refer to him to get things back the way they were after the import process.
