  I'm a complete Noob to CF, somehow avoided so far but find myself looking at a CF Web site written for a training company, I'm now consulting at (for various tasks, including the update of their Web site.

  For this site, some of the hyperlinks in the content became broken and I was in charge of updating them. I downloaded the static .cfm, have it edited in Dreamweaver, downloaded the .cfm turn it back on to the server and...

  Nothing has changed!

  I need to rebuild somehow content?

  Yes CFML = ColdFusion Markup Language, which may be part of the .cfm, cfc, and cfr files and other if you care about monkey with default file extensions.

  Here's my problem: when I create a new iTunes library or import files, iTunes automatically much as home vids classifies and moves them all to a great home videos folder, not organized. I tried to uncheck copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding and held the iTUnes Dungeon Media folder, but it still happens. I understand that items purchased from the iTunes store can be hard wired as films, but I only have 2 of these. I'm fine with this limitation.

  How do I download iTunes to just leave things where they are and add as a file music or "video"?

  It may be useful to what is currently considered a home video as a movie rather reclassified.  Select one of these items in iTunes and click read.  In the Info window, go to the Options tab.  Change the media kind of Home Video movie.  It should now appear in your library of films in film, no video for the House.  If your other files 'movie' (existing) can be arranged as you wish (you want in music for some reason any), it should also work for this film, which was previously a "home video".

  If it works to make a home video, you can select all of your remaining home video movies at the same time, do a multi-point informationand change their media type affecting the same way (in one shot).

  I'm trying now, to browse the values I have on my collection of GUI and with these, construct a message to send through VISA.

  I have the usb-> rs232 cable and NO, and I have attached a connector, with the pins 2 and 3 tied together so that I can loopback and see the messages I send.

  I'm supposed to (from the instructions that I read on a design doc) will send a message of length of 24 bits.

  And please bear with me, I've never worked on this low a level before, nor with the serial interfaces, so I can be completely off on how I'm doing... and this is my

  first really relay with LabView for this project.

  I have some time execution of every 20ms in a loop.

  I have a structure of the event looking for user actions on my front.

  I also breast that everything in a loop, a flat sequence structure... my assumption was, every 20ms, the flat sequence structure would run, except where it is interrupted by an event... that could trigger and then continue with the flat structure...

  I have seen that the entry VISA (and read) take a string.

  So, I started the flat structure with build my string of bits/bytes outgoing... first section is coded hard and then, through the two sequences, loop it and based on the values of the controls within each cluster, I concatenate to my outgoing string... in which case, I send by the visa by the closure, and post it on the message indicator.

  It seems that I can send on only 8 bits at a time through VISA... so, I try to understand (and I wonder people with the req on this part) why they said to send such a long chain... or am I supposed to send each message of 8 bits, one at a time?

  If one bit 8 message at the same time, I wonder how I have let him know when I am finished?  I have heard and read things about start and stop bits, but I don't know where to put them.

  In addition, is the string that I'm supposed to put them together to send something waiting for data series bits/bytes? I saw a reference to a string of bytes while the research, but I Coulnd't ' t find a piece of string byte on the pallets.

  And when I run the present (a simpler example of my real application, simply to show here the parts I am trying to figure)... the message echoing again to me is:

  111000010000\n

  When if I have all the tubes with a value in them... I want to get something new like:

  1110000111111110111111110\n

  I'm also noting that messages do not seem to be transmitting every 20ms... seems only to get a message back when when I trigger an event, as the option switch on the LED.

  In any case, I'm confused, I think that, on certain basic principles and hope someone can maybe send me some links or give me some advice on where I'm wrong so seriously...

  Is my construction of the right to follow path string message?

  Is something wrong with the flow of the program... the events + flat sequence structure?

  Your sequence structure is not necessary.  You have a dependency on the data, as well as the structure of sequence is not really do anything for you.  Seems to me that what you want to do is to build the table of your clusters that you already own and send the table directly in a > 0? function.  It will accept berries and an array of Boolean output.  You can then use the Boolean array to the Number function to create a U8.  Do this for each of your clusters and integrate the results in a table of U8 and fixed data.  Then use the array of bytes to the string function to get a string to pass in the VISA to write it.  Without loops or the necessary structures.  Any additional manipulation you need, I recommend to the byte level.

  as aravinds said, check the HCL to see whether your server are compatible.

  As a VINE, you can even use vmware workstation as a platform to start and get a little more familiar with the ifrastructure your desktop itself.

  That said, its processing power not really but the ram that makes a difference. more is better

  So I'm a 3D artist seeking to make a Web site that appears in most browsers, I currently use a flash model that is not so good that it does not work on my iphone (which is also something I need).
  I followed some tutorials and have a basis for my site but do you have a problem. Currently I use tables and an iframe to have all my pages open under my header/navigation bar which seemed to work until when I want a different size page to open in the iframe.

  
  I have a portfolio/gallery with many miniatures section which should link to another page with pics and info of this particular piece of superior resolution, the problem is that I get this horrible scroll bar if I put scrolling iframe on but if I don't have the full Web page after clicking on a thumbnail gets cut. Also I really don't want a scroll anyway I want to click on a thumbnail and then page down extend when the new page is loaded.

  
  I don't really know other ways to do what I'm a noob at coding etc so any suggestions on how to get this to work or links to tutorials would be great.

  In a Word, start your project with a development shaped predefined CSS (preferably one that has been tested to run on all browsers).

  I have inherited a box running ESX and host 3 virtual machines. I need to know what I download and manage this box from my windows machine? Years I used to use VirtualCenter to a society of old, but I can't find what I need on the website of vmware. I have no idea what version of esx, I'm running, but I think that the box was built and installed around April 2009 if this is useful.

  I have ssh access to the box so can send information that you might need me.

  Sorry for the limited info, but I'd appreiciate any help you can give. Especially if I ask in the wrong place.

  Hello the Flash forum people, I'm here and I love you. (seriously, I am grateful for your dedication in forums like these.)
  

  I'd appreciate comments on this 'project', I want to finish. Since then, I almost never finished anything, that would mean loads for me.

  OK, so where to start...

  The design. The design is quite simple - basically it's ice on the top of the image and the flames at the bottom of the image. The ice cubes are made up of layers of 6-8; The problem is once you merge layers, the ice cube effect is drastically changed and looks really bad. Ice cubes have a layer of "Tag" which is located under the layers of ice and is like, well, a fund specially for the ice. The flames are made up of only 2 or 3 layers; No problem with the merger of these layers. They also have a "plate".

  The image was filed in Photoshop and amounts to a reasonable size 990 kb once "saved for Web and devices."

  I hoped that Flash could do for me. I was hoping I could animate the layers 'Plate' and I have a sort of effect 'Streaming Glow'. After that, I was hoping to add a drop of two of the ice, drip and then hit the flame and creating increased smoke effect. Once this done, I want to use the design as a background for a Web site. I was hoping I could get the parties animated running separately (on top of) the design of JPEG.
  

  My struggles. I'm not entirely sure where to start and I could use a modicum of 1 to 1. Apologies if my description is not sufficiently specific for a good inside look.

  I wouldn't recommend that you try to remove this yourself in a single layer flattened like you talk basically implement something like effects of Pixel Bender that aren't on the beginner to put side. Their animation in flash on a timeline is more your level.

  You can also do a simple google search for plugins (free for commercial purposes) in order to achieve the effect, but it will come down to some codes. The plugin this encoding may be simple or difficult. As they say, anything worth doing is worth doing right that requires experimentation and perspiration.

• ESXi 5.5 PCI Passthrough bad BAR Mapping when it is smaller than 4 KB

  I tried to use a PCI using PLX9056 chip in a VM, assign to this virtual machine (passthrough).

  PCI card is detected in the virtual machine, but the driver does not install. It seems that ESXi maps areas of PCI memory that are smaller than 4 KB to the wrong address in the virtual machine.

  The PCI bar registers (read of in a virtual machine) indicate this block of memory configuration of PLX9056 (size of 512 bytes) is mapped to the address 0xFF4FEC00. However, there is no data to this (0xFF only) address inside the virtual machine. Review of other addresses, I could see that the data according to the register at the 0xFF4FEC00 address BAR found at 0xFF4FE000 inside the virtual machine.

  Looks like that ESXi is to map all resources of memory PCI to the limits of page (4 KB) that is no problem for those who are 4 k or more. However for those who are smaller, therefore, an incorrect mapping except in the case where BIOS has mapped the memory area reduced to a 4 KB limit.

  This is perhaps the reason why, impossible to use certain cards PCI (e) in ESXi in passthrough mode. According to the pilot, a blue screen or a mistake could be seen inside the virtual machine.

• ESXi Passthrough disorder

  So I tried activating the relay for an external USB device. Now, I can't UN-configure the passthrough devices.

  The steps I took were:

  1. Enable the USB ports in vSphere client under Configuration - & gt; Advanced settings, and then check each box USB

  2. Connected the USB device

  3. Open the machine virtual and added a USB controller

  4. Restarted the server ESXi

  Rebot took 20-30 minutes and made the VM do not seem to see any USB device, so I decided to remove the configuration, are the steps that I took:

  1. Stop the virtual machine, I tried to add the trundle for decision-making

  2. Edited settings and removed the USB controller

  3. Reboot the machine virtual and checked the Device Manager

  4. Stop the virtual machine

  5. disabled USB ports in vSphere client under Configuration - & gt; Advanced settings and then unchecking each box USB

  6. Restarted the server ESXi

  Passthrough devices are always checked that whenever I do it, and start time are always very slow (20-30 minutes). Any advice on the steps I can take to remove configured pull-out decision would be greatly appreciated.

  Here's my dilemma.

  Dear Professor gave us a task to create a Web site in Flash. You must have 15 links or 15 pages. He says that you can only go frame-by-frame in the main timeline without space interpolation between the two. I'm practically creating all my animations in symbols.

  This isn't a problem... I created a title of short video introduction in Flash using a Movie Clip symbol... placed on the main timeline on the first page and then called ActionScript to play the video.

  This is the problem... Then... the movie will play, but it will make a continuous loop... I tried to put a stop(); on the homepage, under the ACE... I'm just completely lost on how to get it to read the short clip and go directly to the home page... Could someone PLEASE direct me on how to do it and give me an explanation as to why this way is the way, that's... I want to understand how it works.
