• Configuring updates stage 3 of 3 0% complete reboot keeps to this page

  I have a hp laptop which has vista. I downloaded updates for. He said 14 were successful and 8 failed. After having their downloaded, he went to the screen that shows the configuration of updates do not stop computer. He is said to 3 of 3 0% complete and turns off. When it restarts it comes back on the same screen and then stops and comes back to this same page. I tried to go into safe mode, but it stops said this in safe mode. I hit f8 and tried to make something out of this screen. When I hit the choice of remedy, it asks for a password. I've never had a password. It doesn't let me do anything without him. I was the only one to have this laptop. I'm completely frustrated by this. Can someone help me with this?

  I am trying to download my pictures on icloud to free storage on my iphone.  I turned on and outside, icloud signed in and out, reset the unit, I forgot network and reconnected, etc..  No status bar appears under "space low disk - uploadong 1 432 pictures»  He's right there.   Weeks and he always says the same thing.  There is no status bar showing me progress at all.    Anyone know how to get it to start downloading?   Ive AOMI for 50 GB of storage and should still use this bc my phone does nothing.  It's just stuck.  Please help, completely frustrated with these issues and after several searches online, it seems that this has happened for years with no explanation.

• Several problems since 22.0 update

  Firefox updated itself yesterday. Before the update it remembered my choice of different zoom levels for Web sites, including the zoom levels different for different pages in Web sites. Now every page I go to a Web site is changed when I enlarge or decrease the size of the text on a single page. It's annoying as hell having to constantly change by pressing CTRL / + or /-each time on the pages on a particular site. The large size on all sites is annoying and I'm going to constantly reduce the zoom level.

  To open a bookmark in a new window I could 21.0 uncheck the box open a new window in a new tab instead, I had to. Why 22.0 changed my settings without asking? Now, when I click on a link in a site still, it opens in a new window. Most annoying. I always have to right click to open in a new tab instead of new window. Never had a problem at 21.0.

  The site for registration is no longer my TV displays correctly and is unusable in Firefox.

  I want to return to 21,0 if these bugs cannot be developed.

  Have poor eyesight, this new update turned on the computer, very difficult, completely frustrating and much much longer. I have a large screen 23 '' monitor together in 1920 X 1080 that correctly displays all other software.

• HP P 8470: JBL Flip 2 not to connect to HP 8470 P

  I have an employee who bought a JBL Flip 2 Bluetooth speaker.  I'm completely frustrated trying to connect this thing for her laptop.  The laptop is running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, is fully patched as of today and has the latest drivers from HP software as discovered by the wizard in the HP software today.

  What happens is that Windows will see the speaker and install the drivers.  However the speaker will never pair with the laptop.  What is strange, is that I can go to the properties of the speaker, it appears under devices and printers, and the properties show that it is connected.  However, if I go to control panel / sound it does not appear as an available playback device.

  I did a lot of searhces, and this seems to be a common problem but if anyone has ever figured out they are not post the solution.

  I found the answer to this particular problem.  I was able to locate a driver updated, SP61616.exe and once I have installed the Flip 2 worked.  I downloaded the driver here:

  I'm having this problem as well of the right hinge cracked came out of nowhere, and now the left seems to be cracking. I have no idea on how to fix this and even impossible to close the laptop without the risk of damaging it. I'm not able to take this laptop at college or at conferences. Also when the hinge started to go, they close the speakers on top too, don't know if anyone got wire moved. But I'm no longer under warranty but completely frustrated by the situation cuz it's in the way of my studies I have to be careful all the time does not damage the laptop. I have been a loyal customer to HP all my life and have never bought anything other than HP, but this time I noticed its not just me, many people seem to have this problem of weak hinges. I'm in College and can barely afford to pay for the course, and no way I can afford to put money on solve this now. Help, please.

• Skype DOES NOT work no matter how many times I have re - install.

  I have uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my computer. I have many people, friends and family, my only way of communicating with them, is through Skype, and I wasn't on it over the weeks, because it won't work.

  I am frustrated, completely frustrated. I have a windows 7, lenovo computer, there is nothing really wrong with it from what I've seen.

• Contacts Outlook sync for iOS fails miserably

  I became completely frustrated with iCloud app on Windows and with iCloud generally and the apparent inability to sync contacts Outlook 2013 for iPad running iOS 9.2. I have Windows7 x 64 and 2013 Outlook installed. I have app iCloud 5.1 installed on Windows 7 and you enable synchronization of Contacts, calendar and tasks with my iCloud account, then down to my iPad running iOS 9.2.1. The synchronization operation from Outlook to iOS for calendar events work fine. I can add events on Outlook or iOS and additions or changes are properly reflected.

  The huge problem is with Contacts. If I add a contact on the iPad it appears the iCloud account, then in fine Outlook. If I add a contact via the web interface for iCloud it shows fine in Outlook. It does NOT however appears in the iOS. No additions or changes made via Outlook on WIndows. These changes or additions appear in my iCloud account, that they are simply not reflected to iOS!

  I spent countless hours trying parameters such as go fetch the data rather than push and it makes no difference what so ever. I have no problems with the help of Google to get changes reflect this way however I don't see any way of Outlook and Contacts from a Google account calendar interface and then back down to an iOS device. This is the only reason why I use iCloud app on Windows.

• Atrix HD: Unable to setup email!

  You try to configure the phone automatically or manually? If you have not tried the manual configuration, I would recommend that as automatic installation allows certain assumptions which don't always work.

  When you start adding the e-mail account, there is an option to do a manual installation. You will need information from incoming and outgoing server to do. In addition, if the Association offers encrypted connections. If you do not have this information, it should be available online.

  My guess is that VZW requires different settings when you go to send over the internet, compared to courses on the network of the Association that your PC is connected. You can try using your Wifi connection at home to do the installation, but then, it may not work when you use 3G at home.

  There is no technical reason why E-mail VZW will not work on the phone, but if all the settings are wrong, it could cause erroneous error messages.

• LabVIEW 2014 SP1, hardware and real-time PXI

  I'm doing my third LabVIEW Wipe/reinstall in as many days, completely frustrated (and after several calls an hour with the support of NEITHER).  Here's the situation:

  I wrote a fairly large (1000 VI) project of Acquisition/control of our graduate students data used for behavioral experiment on sound localization.  It was developed in 2012 LabVIEW with the module running on a PC/PXI system real time.  It worked very well and was brought successfully under LabVIEW 2014 (with upgrades comparable to the software of the PXI.

  About 18 months ago the students began to write their theses, and at one point stopped gathering data.  Also, at some point, I upgraded the software on this system to LabVIEW 2014 SP1, but I am not sure that I never tested my software with this new system.

  This week, I pulled up the system to use MAX to open some test on the PXI multifunction and DIO card panels to control manually one of the stimuli.  I discovered that MAX could not communicate with the advice on the PXI system - he attributes them as devices VISA, indicating each Board with an icon with a red X means that he could not communicate with the IP that I had assigned to PXI.  Yet, MAX (a) could "discover" this PXI, (b) MAX can 'see' its IP address, and (c) Windows could not only Ping the IP, but could FTP on the drive of the PXI and I could move files back and forth.

  I did two sequences complete "Wipe/reinstall" using LabVIEW 2014 SP1, all giving the same result.  I know it has worked in the past, including when I installed LabVIEW 2014 (without SP1), something I repeat myself now with my third installation.  I discussed with OR (thin?) possibility that there is a "hidden defect" in the Distribution of the SP1, one that is visible to LabVIEW RT users using PXI hardware and go unnoticed because (a) install a few sites of LabVIEW versions SP1, (b) a minority use the RT Modules and (c) PXI is "old material".

  If anyone has such a system or saw a similar problem, please answer.  I'll do a follow-up post if I managed to 'fix' my system by this last reinstallation "a solution of worked before."

  Well, the answer is that, in my system, LabVIEW 2014 SP1 with LabVIEW Real-time connected to a PXI system does not appear to connect to boards plugged into the chassis.  Returning to LabVIEW 2014 (fall release), installed in exactly in the same way that the three failed attempts of LabVIEW 2014 SP1, works immediately.  Engineers OR will try to duplicate/verify/possibly patch? in this issue.

• Yoga 2 start plus-nouveau!

  I just bought a brand new yoga 2 11 only 10 days ago. I used this afternoon, he closed up and left for a few hours. Tonight I tried of the wake, and it is stuck on the screen of Lenovo.
