  Don t worry, you don t need to make a copy of your HARD disk, since you already have a vista on your recovery media.

  If you have problems with your system and you want to re - install, then backup all your data on an external, put the recovery in your CD/DVD drive, boot from it and then just 'recover' or 'reinstall' your system.
