  This is a late response to your question, but I thought that I could add more information here.

  From your description, it seems that your PageUp and the keys to the House (or arrows) of the keyboard are either stuck, or failing. These keys usually help access us in applications you mentioned. And since you mentioned that this happens even when the touchpad is not in use, it is likely that this could be the cause here.

  I suggest get you the checked keyboard when using a hardware technician, preferably from your computer manufacturer. That should help you understand better.

  The catalog is a file containing the main database (catalog.pse13db), the cache of thumbnails (thumb.5.cache) and other files and subfolders. To save a catalog, you save the entire catalog with its subfolders. Note that if you do not save the thumbnail cache (which is the largest element in the catalog), it will be rebuilt automatically.

  In all versions of elements, Win or Mac, you can find its location on the menu: help/information system.

  By default, it is in a folder hidden in Windows.

  Why? I don't know, but you can tell Windows Explorer to show hidden files. It is up to you; I always do.

  The catalog must always be in the default location? Not at all. You can move it elsewhere. For example, you can maintain your catalogue and your picture library on an external drive. Then, watch as catalog manager being "custom position".

  What follows is not in your question, but I assume you are asking only for backup purposes. If you have an external backup system, you must include the catalog folder. • Performance on the Repeater with DataPrvider

  Just using a tile object with a Repeater in one related to a dataprovider. I use this to generate a bunch of thumbnails of images for a photoblog experience. However, it seems to be performing incredibly slowly when you do any reasonable amount of numbers. For example if I make an array of 100 images (which isn't a lot) it takes forever and quite frequently crashes Internet Explorer. Out the dataprovider element it accelerates in the output window that I created where I just write on the table but of course defeats the whole purpose. Am I missing something stupid here? If it is not for this? This in flash 8 would write out in a pardon flash, the play on words... Don't understand, even when I write just Plains without an image in there boxes, it takes forever. I'm sure that this is not intended to be the case that some examples of this where I saw it, it was the same. The example of flickr on the flex examples page did the same thing.
  
  Is there a better way to do this or is this the only and best solution flex can offer. If yes its back to Flash I'm afraid that would be a shame as flex seems to have some nice features.

  On a Repeater with a tile for the images, it's something I've done many times with reasonable performance. But I see a red flag in your code. In your function of Writelist() you use addItem on the collection. That's right, but the collection is dynamically bound to the Repeater - also OK. Normally, you want this so that the changes can be picked up and reflected in the user interface.

  However, to do so in a loop can cause the Repeater for re - run of the code and re - create components. I recommend that do you these two things:

  1. in the Writelist(), before the loop: photos.disableAutoUpdate (); and then, after the loop do photos.enableAutoUpdate (). This will prevent the collection of change in the middle of the loop of distribution events.

  2. Add recycleChildren = "true" to the rehearsal. This will ensure that the Repeater does not create any unnecessary components.

  I have been using speech recognition in Windows 7 to dictate in Word 2010.  Yesterday it worked fine: I did a number of training records, added a few new words in the speech dictionary and dictated a part of a document.  No major problems.

  Today, however, when I begin to dictate, rather than insert the words directly in my Word document, a secondary window will appear next to the insertion point and text appears here, with small buttons that say "insert" and "Cancel".  It's rather annoying - get the text dictated in the document, I must stop dictating and say "insert."  Is it possible to prevent that from happening?  As far as I know, I don't have any changes to the settings or program options to cause this.  Help!

  I have an Asp form that updates of the records in a database Access. It comes
  the date of the registration of database format is dd/mm/yyyy (UK), when
  the folder is displayed in the form, it is mm/dd/yyyy (US) who, after I
  update the record in the database, the date has changed to the new format.
  
  I tried everything I can to change the format
