• Character Styles panel not refreshing after adding character styles

  Hello

  Anyone know how to get the Illustrator character Styles Panel to refresh after programmatically adding new styles by calling CreateCharStyle()?

  Currently, the user must save the document and reopen that Illustrator refresh list of character within the user interface style.  This is obviously not ideal.

  You can reproduce this problem in the code example running the snippet text SnippetRunner and then Styles running of the extract from CreateCharacterStyle.  Also successfully, this code example adds a new character style but is unable to update the Panel character within the user interface Styles.

  
  A note: the AIATECurrentTextFeaturesSuite has an Invalidate() method.  I tried to add this call, but he don't seem to have any impact.

  This was a bug in Illustrator since the new text engine was introduced. That I produced it as a beta bug in at least two versions, but no luck in getting it still not fixed

  If you want to give the panels a kick, try the kATEDocumentResourceChangedNotifier with the AINotifierSuite of broadcasting. In my opinion, that's why it update.

• Windows (composition and effects and presets) not refreshing

  Not much luck Googling for this response. I'm not a solid technology, but I am a heavy user of ae, so it's urgent for me. The windows/tabs are not refreshing. First example is in the editing/composition windows. If I scrub through the timeline with my mouse the updated publication. When I image by image (page up/page down) the composition does not update. Second example is when I search an effect in the tab "effects and presets. Search results remain empty no matter what I put in the textfield. I discovered a workaround is if I go into the control panel and switch between alphabetical (categories, folders finder,) display settings.

  I have reset the ae preferences and keep away the Adaptive resolution. I know that the cuda/video card is a problem, but it wasn't cause a problem in a version earlier than Adobe ae cc I had a month or two ago, before the update. Please let me know how I can solve this problem.

  

  Hmmmm... If that has happened since a year, it seems that something is really wrong with your AE.

  I suggest that contact you Adobe support.

  If you do not have to do a clean installation, make sure that you have a backup of all your stuff from Adobe, uninstall and run the CC cleaning tool before reinstalling.

  I'm relatively new to after effects CC and uses it to create a film in stop motion with a large amount of photos.

  Usually, when you import individual frames in my composition Panel, a sequence of rectangles editable appears in the compostition Panel that allows me to edit the length of the frame of the pictures yet.

  After about 950 images imported, the small rectangles abruptly stop, appear. But when you look at an overview of the project, it's as if the photos are, in order, they should be. I am simply unable to change like the previous ones with recangles showing.

  I probably don't describe it too well, so here is a page that I hope made my problem a bit clearer. The emission region is where you see the top-down sequence of the boxes in the Panel of the model. The red track bar is there to show that there are still pictures continues the sequence, I can't see the boxes of 'em...

  So I assume you mean layer in the timeline panel disappear, not the handles in the Comp window.

  I think you are having a display bug. Try to select the upper layers of the hundred and dial before them. If the missing layers appear then that's the problem. I had it happens a few times before in previous versions of AE...

  Here's a hint of workflow for you, divide your compositions in short clips rather than try to make a piece of the 4 or 5 minute with 900 layers in a single composition. You will find edit and change a lot easier.

  I would also like to premix your music. AE is a really terrible music mixer...

In addition, I have to click through a series of tabs to make sure that I know that Yahoo does not feel that the site is secure before it connects. • Optimization of 2D image is not refresh properly

  I have an application that displays an image in a 2D image indicator and draws a few rectangles and lines on the top of the image.

  The locations of these lines of change throughout the day, and the application is designed to run reduced and then give a glance at different points of status when it is restored by the user.

  Although reduced, however, the image seems not updated, even if my code is updated once per second. I can't really what happens when it is obviously reduced, but the behavior persists for some time after the window is restored, and is the State that is 'frozen' from the time wherever he played.

  There are other numerical indicators on the front panel is updated in the same loop of 1 Hz, so I know that its just the indicator of 2D image which does not - that is to say, something with LabVIEW or associated system is causing the image that does not refresh while it is reduced and more importantly still, for some time after the application is restored.

  Some things that will cause an update to the image after that I restored to the taskbar to a stale view:

  • Minimize once again, and then restore it again (from the window of LabVIEW)

  • Wait some time (15 seconds? 30 seconds?)

  I also tried to set the following property without effect node:

  • VI > Panel > be different updates from Control Panel > set to False

  Another way to think about it would be to imagine a picture control 2D with an analog clock, where the lines are drawn to the hour and minutes and updated once per second.  This isn't what I do, but the example is easy to understand.  When the application is restored from the taskbar, the clock appears frozen in time since the last time it has been minimized.

  Same behavior run this in LV 2012 and 2013... I am looking for property nodes or update methods to force a refresh to 1 Hz, without worrying if the display is visible.  The display should be immediately updated when the application is restored by the user.

  No question. AE does simply not support fully Unicode/OpenType features like contextual glyphs required for these languages. You must also create and import it as a graphic.

  As these highlights layer do not appear in after effects CC 20141 (13.1) is a bug. This problem is fixed in an update that we plan to release later this week.

  1. download a copy of the latest http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html firefox (dmg full package - all languages)

  2. Trash , install the current application of Firefox to do a cleaning.

  3. install the version you downloaded.

  Do not select to delete your personal data, your profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you will not lose your bookmarks or other personal data.

  I'm using the latest Thunderbird beta chain, v38. I saw it in the stable version string as well, so I thought I would try the beta channel to see if it was fixed, but it wasn't.

  The problem is that the list of messages is not refresh all the time during the passage of the records. If I have one in my Inbox folder, for example, and then select my junk e-mail folder, the message list will not be updated and discount, until I drag my mouse on the list of messages. Then, it will refresh by line that the mouse is in each row.

  I'm on Windows 7 64-bit, with a processor i5 and 8 GB of RAM. Nothing else on my system is slow. This will happen when Thunderbird is the only application running. I also have a skin applied to my user interface. I tried a few different skins, and this problem happens with all of them.

  A second question, I noticed this morning, is that when I got a new email, the entire application seemed to momentarily freeze while for this new email notification was generated. As soon as the notification became visible, the app because sensitive again. Maybe a thread to post here.

• Podcasts not refreshing in iTunes 12.4.1.6

  Since the upgrade to iTunes for Mac 12.4.1.6, my Podcasts is no longer up-to-date. I'm set to update every hour, download on.  Nothing happens I click Refresh, nothing.  I watch feed, new ones I know exist do not appear here.  I use this MBP/iTunes for Podcasts since the beginnings of Mavericks without this problem.  I need to download podcasts on my phone and then complete iTunes since the phone via a synchronization.

  Does anyone else know this?
