Computer crashes a few minutes after the opening of session

My computer is when I first put it together, and I fixed it.  Somehow.  Now, he has started doing again 4 months later after accidentally uninstalling Asus Smartdoctor and my GPU software.  Now, I can't reinstall even this kind of things.

16 GB of ram
1 TB HD
NVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti
Six cores AMD
630 watts power
I don't think it's a hardware problem, because it operate for 4 months without a hiccup.  I think the last time was happening, it was my computer trying to overclock my GPU when I didn't want it.

In fact, I solved the problem myself.  After 12 hours of programs and hardware troubleshooting one by one, I discovered it was the software that uses my Rosewill Wireless Adapter that is causing the problem.  I removed the card and software and am waiting on a different model to be delivered today.

Thanks for your time, however.

  • Satellite Pro P300 restarts a few minutes after the stop

    Hello

I'm unable to download the update of the BIOS for a Toshiba Satellite Pro P300 PSPCDE (WIN 3.00), the reason being that I wonder a user name and password to download the file!

The laptop has this annoying problem to revive a few minutes after the laptop has stopped, and that's why I want to update the BIOS to see if it suits him. Laptop is running XP Pro (downgraded from Vista).

Ideas how I can get the update of the BIOS and will it solve the strange rebooting problem?

Where are you trying to download the BIOS?
I always download my updates on the official website of Toshiba and if it doesn't work maybe you should wait a day.

To be honest, I doubt that the BIOS update will solve this problem. I often read about this problem and you can solve if you disable the wake on LAN function in the BIOS and Windows (properties of the wireless network card).

  • How to create a task that runs once a day, immediately after the opening of session?

Hello, I'm wondering how to create a task using the Task Scheduler that runs once a day, immediately after I have logon.

The reason is I want to use Bing Desktop to change my wallpaper every day. However, I just want to run the first time I start my computer every day, so it will change the wallpaper. By default, it starts whenever I have to logon. It's annoying, because I just want it to start once a day to change the wallpaper. However, using the Task Scheduler, I put only a trigger to start "at the opening of session' or"once a day." If I choose once per day, it runs about 5-10 min after I login, instead of logon immediately after. If I choose the two triggers, then it starts after each session.

Basically, I just want the Task Scheduler to launch the program after the connection the first time I connect to the computer on any given day. How can I do this?

  • Computer hangs or freezes a few minutes after the beginning

    Hi all

I hope someone has the knowledge to help me.

    I have a Dell Vostro 1500, Vista Business x 32 installed.

    In the last days:

    * On a normal startup, the computer hangs after a few minutes.
I get either 'failure-security options' pop up or the computer crashes only the operation of the pointer.
The blue off the Task Manager CPU usage hard drive light will goes from 0 to 1% and stays there.

I was able to copy information from a pop up that says I was saved from a fall BSOD:
    Signature of the problem:
    Problem event name: bluescreen
    OS version: 6.06002.2.2.0.256.6
    Locale ID: 1033

    More information about the problem:
    BCCODE: f4
    BCP1: 00000003
    BCP2: 8F639608
    BCP3: 8F639754
    BCP4: 82A5FC30
    OS version: 6_0_6002
    Service Pack: 2_0
    Product: 256_1

    * No problem starting and running programs and internet with ' SafeMode w / networking. "

    * The only thing I added was a Microsoft Update in the last days.
I tried to do a system restore, but there is no system restore point.
I used the restore of the system about 3 weeks there due to the other Microsoft Update was also causing startup problems.
I didn't knowingly clear Points of system restore or turn off System Restore.

    * I ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and I got quarantined {PUP. Optional.Sanbreel.A, PUP. Optional.Sanbreel.A, PUP. Optional.Instacore.A, PUP. Optional.Hold.A}

    * I ran AVAST antivirus recently with no viruses listed, but not in the last days.

    * Chkdsk fixed drive C by removing some entries and fixed a couple of bad sectors.

    * sfc/scannow to block exactly 82% and I had to make a compromise difficult stop.

If someone is knowledgeable on how to correct the situation described above, please answer!

Perhaps it would be better for me to all my files on a memory stick or external hard drive simply copy and then reload Vista? Is there a disadvantage in doing this?

This way you do not uncover what caused the problem and you might find that you still have a problem.

so I can only perform simple tests troubleshooting with confidence.

    Hi LZYGA09,

1 you get an error message before or after that you get the black screen?

You can try the following workaround to find the root cause of the problem:

Please check if you are facing the same question when working in safe mode.
    Step 1.
    1. reboot your computer.
    2. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows 7 Advanced Startup Options.
    3. using the arrow keys, select the desired option of Mode safe.
    4. press the Enter key on your keyboard to start in safe mode of Windows 7.
    5. when Windows starts, you will be at a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Windows 7 goes into safe mode.
6 do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

    Step 2
If the question had existed in Mode safe, make the boot minimum troubleshooting to find the root cause of the problem:
    Clean clean boot:
    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
    The user account control permission.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type
    password, or click on continue.
    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
    3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load starting points.
    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
    5. click on OK.
    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

If the problem is resolved to check what is the cause of the problem, referring to the link given below:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    8. in addition, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the software problem on your computer.
Reset the computer to start as usual
    9. When you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
    10. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue. On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
    11. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    2. I recommend you to run online Virus Scan to remove any infections, as appropriate.
Follow the link below to start the free online scan:

  • Thunderbird crashes a few seconds after the start, even when the reinstalled. Caused by Facebook Photo Uploader' (fbplugin) [@ CoreFoundation@0x9186]

The basics: Mac OS X 10.10.1 Yosemite, 10 GB of RAM. Version of Thunderbird 31.3.0 (although the same thing happens when I try the previous and subsequent versions).

Symptom: Thunderbird crashes after a few seconds of commissioning. I have enough time, click a menu or two, maybe watch a message, then it crashes.

    Attempts at solutions:

-Departure of Thunderbird in Safe Mode.

-From the Mac in Safe Mode.

-Removed ~/Library/Preferences/org.mozilla.thunderbird.plist and ~/Library/Preferences/Thunderbird, removing the Thunderbird application, empty the trash and reinstall Thunderbird of mozilla.org.

-With the help of Yosemite Cache Cleaner to scan the hard disk for viruses and deep - clean all user and system puts in cache.

-Boot from the recovery partition, repair disk permissions and repair the file system.

The only time that Thunderbird has more or less stable is just after I deleted all preferences, it starts, and I do the initial editing for my email account. Everything seems normal, and my list of IMAP folders. But shortly after that Thunderbird crashes again and hangs at each subsequent reboot.

It is a problem that has developed in the last Wednesday, 24 Dec. before that the program worked very well. No other program on my computer at work doesn't show any symptoms. Thunderbird runs on my Mac at home (same versions of software) and on my Linux computer at work.

I'm at a loss what to try next. Any ideas?

  • Satellite P100 freezes a few minutes after the beginning

    Hi all!

Im having a little problem with my satellite. When I start my computer its TI all ok, but after 5-6 minutes, always do the same thing. The screen freezes and it is impossible to do antyhing. My computer is only 2 years old. My guess is that the cpu is overheating, but I'm not sure. Maybe problems with the fans or just for more dust.

-Does anyone know if it could be another hardware problem that makes the computer freezes? Also when I try to just start all over again it freezes in 1-2 mnutes.

    Hello

It could be overheating but maybe memory dysfunctions?
After 2 years of work from the laptop cooling modules might not turn with maximum performance and so the CPU cannot be cooled correctly
so you could check if the fan cleaning grids will help a little to avoid freezing.

Additional test memory. There are several tools to test memory like MemTest or Memtest 86. These tools are free!

I return this laptop Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 about a month and it has Windows 8. I start the laptop and once I enter username and password, I have a black screen with the mouse pointer. Lenovo support has been useless. They asked me to run c:\windows\system\restore\rstrui.exe by using the Task Manager, but I get the file not found. When I go to the command prompt by using the Task Manager and check dir listing in the directory of restoration, it shows empty.

Very frustrated. Can someone please help here on the Microsoft Forum?

    Thank you in advance.

It seems to me a solution, it worked for me, so hopefully it will work for you as long as you experience the same problem.

Because you can always go to the sign in screen, do the following:

Click on the power icon in the lower right to open the menu,

Hold down the SHIFT key while clicking the button of /restart/ once.

A screen will appear after a few moments.

Click and follow the instructions /Refresh/ and let him go during its cycle...
