  I feel when you go into Device Manager there is a yellow question mark. If you expand this section you may find an unknown device. This will be your network card. So basically, you need to know what brand and model of the network adapter is. Download the driver from the internet on another computer. Then install it on this one. The unknown device will then pass under the network connection in Device Manager.

  So basically, you will need to download your ethernet card driver.

• Computer does not display the Sansa Clip

  For about a week, my computer no longer displays my Sansa Clip when I plug upward with the USB cable.   This behavior is most often observed if the XML registration is missing in the system. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  a. close Windows Sidebar. To do this, right-click on the Sidebar icon in the Notification area, and then click exit.

  b. open an elevated command prompt window.

  To do:

  i. click on Start > all programs.

  II. click Accessories.

  III. right click on invite and then click run as administrator.

  c. in the command prompt window, type the following command and press ENTER:

  regsvr32 msxml3.dll

  Similarly, run these commands:

  regsvr32 scrrun.dll

  regsvr32 jscript.dll

  If the registration was successful, you will see the message DllRegisterServer in succeeded to for each executed command.

  d. open Windows Sidebar (sidebar.exe) and check if the problem is resolved.

  Have you been using Tamper Data extension in an earlier version of Firefox?

  Is the problem that there is no visible way to display or configure Tamper Data? I do not use this extension myself, but in General, you can check the following locations:

  (1) menu Tools

  To display the classic menu bar temporarily, press the ALT key. To persist, after tapping Alt, use the view > toolbars > Menu bar

  (2) menu developer tools - in the case, it fits now here

  • button '3-bar' menu > developer
  • menu bar: Tools > Web Developer

  (3) buttons not used - in which case it has a button that is not on a toolbar

  Use the personalization feature to check the buttons available and made dragging to the desired location. See: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars.

  Or do you just rely on XP to do for you?

  What make your camera is, check out the website of its manufacturer.

  Appropriate software, if you don't have it. (There may be the latest version... you can upgrade, here.)

  If you have not installed the software, maybe it is corrupted and requires... uninstalled and then reinstalled to new (to refresh the application)?

  If you have photos stored in your computer, using this software, please, save what you have... before you try to reinstall the software.

  For me, it is simply a "common practice" for when things won't work properly.

  This includes hardware and software, simply uninstall and then reinstall.

  Most of the people do not like this as they see it as being all a task too hard... for them, when it's really not.

  It is the fear of 'maintenance', or should I say "preventive maintenance", where they "fear" of losing their precious ' private pictures/details/contact numbers-e-mail addresses/etc'...if they had to attempt such a thing because maintaining their computer in a "working condition". (Funny, it's their computer tends to 'develop' major problems... from this attitude, and they ask 'why' it does more than just more!)

  Worry on this subject, and not do anything in this regard, well, that just makes the job more difficult stuff. A few times makes the problem much worse is it really, because people will tend to continue to use the computer when there is a problem that needs fixing.

  Okay, so that you spend 10 to 30 minutes to sort out the problem, when it occurs, it is the best time to make... never later.

• Desktop computer does not display the computers on the network after waking from sleep.

  Both computers work on Vista Home Basic. Problem started after computers, the router and a DSL modem has been turned off and unplugged. After the awakening of the day before, the Office would display only the router and the laptop, but the way that he could not establish.   I did a full reset/reinstall the router, carefully following the manufacturer's instructions. Both computers are displayed in each of their respective lists of network, even after waking up from sleep mode.

  c. click on the button continue in the UAC prompt.

  d. in regedit, go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer

  e. in the left pane, right-click on explorer.exe and click on New and key.

  f. type DriveIcons and press ENTER.

  g. in the left pane, click with the right button on DriveIcons and click on New and key.

  h. type the drive letter (EX: E) you want to change the route name and press ENTER.

  i. in the left pane, right-click on the drive letter (EX: E) and click on New and key.

  j. type DefaultLabel and press ENTER.

  To change the name of the reader - l.

  i. enter a name (Ex: My DVD), and then click OK.

  The problem started after I installed Norton 360. I have not installed new hardware.

  I'm not biased. I'm not an advocate for the Member States. I have been involved in the MS newsgroups since 2003 and have seen what Norton (McAfee) and can do. Especially for an e-mail client.

  I saw, too, what MS has produced over the years and don't like a lot of their programs. I feel, however, that they got the right MOUSE. It is not a resource hog like Norton is a thing. (BTW. IMHO, Norton was a great AV program until Peter Norton sold the company to Symantec).

  I saw many problems corrected over the years with the removal of Norton. The most common problem people have when vendors group with their Norton software free trials. Once enabled, run that the removal tool is a must if the user wishes to use a different AV program
