  • Windows stops after it comes out of hibernation.

For some reason it stops when the computer comes out of hibernation. He does this only when I don't do anything with the computer immediately after that it go to the desktop. I guess like 5 minutes away she just stops while I am not. When I turn it back on, it always starts in the same condition it was when it entered hibernation. What could be the problem?

    It is by design.

When XP comes out of hibernation, XP expects it to be a reason he came out of hibernation.  If XP comes out of hibernation and can't find anything ' to do' it resumes hibernation by himself in 300 seconds (5 minutes).

This feature is built in case your system is equipped with the hibernation of some external event like a networking event, etc. and you don't want that, she will automatically return to hibernation.

If you move the mouse, press any on the keyboard, etc., which is considered to be something, so XP knows you're here, and it will not automatically resume the hibernation.

What do you see or you try to do something and hibernation occurs while you are busy?

You can read a little about the functionality of XP here:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;318355

If you don't like the way it works, I know only a workaround solution that is to your system from a shortcut on the desktop or in hibernation, and then using a third party application batch file so that when XP comes out of hibernation, the mouse movement is simulated is enough to satisfy XP thinking that any human being moved the mouse and it will not rehibernate.

I can tell you a way to do it if you are interested... after the understanding that there is really nothing wrong.

Do, or do not. There is no test.

  • When my PC comes out of hibernation I get a message that "settings have been automatically changed to cause low-memory for operation Aero"

    * - Original title - Win7 settings

This is related to other issues on Win7 Aero performance. I have a Core i5 processor 2310 2.9 GHz CPU and a videocard from ATI (AMD) Radeon HD 6570 (I don't know the exact specifications but minimum memory for this model is 512 MB). Well, this should be enough to use Aero. However, when my PC comes out of hibernation, I get a message that the settings have been automatically changed because of not enough memory for operation Aero. Why is it so?

    Hello

  • Your computer is unable to get out of hibernation 0xc000007b

On my windows 7 Professional, 64-bit when I wake up my laptop I have this message: your computer can't get out of hibernation. Status: 0xc000007b Info: a fatal error has occurred processing the restore data. File: \hiberfil.sys any information that was not justified until the computer entered hibernation will be lost.             Does anyone have a solution for this error? Thanks in advance!

0xc000007b error code appears whenever an application or service could not start. In this case, the problem is with the hibernation.

Therefore, as a first step, please answer the questions:

    1. don't you turn off the power/remove battery voltage while hibernation (hibernation shows no sign of progress, so those used to pull off the camera, since it is associated with power, defective battery also causes this problem)?

2 - is happens the issue even at the resumption of his sleep?

    Case 1:

If the answer is Yes to question 1, kindly make sure enough current is present until the computer is shut down completely. If there is no indicator LED/all other present, please wait for 3 to 5 minutes before turning off the power.

    Case 2:

If the answer to question 2 is Yes, you can try to upgrade display drivers (graphics card drivers). If the upgrade fails to resolve the problem, reinstall the drivers: uninstall the drivers, reboot the PC, install the drivers, reboot the PC and then check.

    Case 3:

If the answer to the two questions above is no, please follow the steps:

Go to start-> type cmd-> right-click on->, click Run as administrator. If guests UAC, click Yes. Then, at the command prompt, type the following line and press enter (disabling hibernation):

    powercfg-h off

Then, restart the PC a couple of times. Then, the same way open the command prompt, type the following command and press enter (enabling hibernation):

    powercfg-h on

    Then try to hibernation.

If the problem persists, once again, disable hibernation, perform a disk defrag, restart the computer and hibernation to activate it. Follow the link for more information about disk defragmentation:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/improve-performance-defragmenting-hard-disk#1TC=Windows-7

    Hello

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Try to reset components to update Windows from the following link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058

    Method 2:

If the problem persists, then I suggest allows you to set your computer in a clean boot state then try to install updates again and also check if the system comes out of hibernation.

By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • White screen coming out of hibernation

Have Windows 7 Home Premium on a Dell E1505 laptop. Coming from hibernation, the screen is a black screen with a flashing cursor in the upper left of the screen. By pressing the power button / power off then back on starts the laptop bios checks take a few minutes to complete (normally takes seconds) but will then come out of hibernation correctly. Have updated all the drivers that were available. There is no problem coming out of hibernation just to sleep mode.

You can also try the response to a similar thread by Zack who said that sometimes the Boot Configuration data (BCD) file may have questions that raise such errors. Follow the steps below to fix the BCD file.

    4. run the following command: bcdedit /deletevalue {3d8d3081-33ac-11dc-9a41-806e6f6e6963} inherit

    5. test of hibernation.

    http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/vistahardware/thread/a57a9941-1f2f-4dfb-B874-93d9167c62ec

Thank you for that response, Varun - doing definitely solved the problem for my new laptop Windows 7.

The victory seems to have been short-lived, however. The first restoration of hibernation went very quickly, but since then, it's to her long wait at the black screen, blinking cursor.

Whenever I restart the computer by using the bcdedit steps is obviously not an option.

How can I prevent the computer from doing whatever it is that it is the practice that requires the following steps for normal operation?

    Thank you!

    You can try

    (1) open a Notepad document

Type 2) in what you would do in the shell IE: C:\windows\system32 > bcdedit /deletevalue {3d8d3081-33ac-11dc-9a41-806e6f6e6963} inherit

(of course you have to do footwork to track down the of first to varun j postafter do you cut and paste replaceing identifier the identifier you see here with one adapted to your computer)

    3) Save as

    (4), select all the files

    (5) name of file "hibernate_fix.bat" less the quotes of course

    6) Save to desktop

    (7) running every time you can leave your computer for an extended period

What this does that create a command shell executable that u just double click and itll do on its own as a macro

great thing about this is that you don't need administrator rights you can also pin to the start menu

  • Satellite L10-119 out of hibernation when moved...

    Hello

I have a strange problem with my Satellite. He goes in and out of hibernation with no problems but when her hibernation and I want to move the laptop to put for example in my bag it comes suddenly from hibernation. She does this on a sign of mild shock, touch and movement. The problem is even more strange that it disappears when I plug the power - Hibernate the laptop's rock then stable and it is only started when I open the lid or press the power button.
A that someone has experienced this problem? Hibernation is very useful and I can't enable on-the-go, as my computer starts to turn :(

Thanks in advance for any help.

I've never heard of this. I use the mode standby and hibernation on both of my books and if the screen cover is closed properly I can do whatever I want and turn around. The laptop is OFF. After opening the cover of the display unit turns on automatically.

There is the same situation with sleep mode?

  • Satellite P15 - if the plug comes out, the battery stops charging

My Toshiba is rather annoying. I hope there is a solution to this and it is not integrated in the computer by braindead materials developers.

My battery is toast. For a long time. I find the computer works very well if the power cable is in. If she comes out, the battery has usually about a minute and a half of her life. However, what makes me shit off the coast, it is that the battery does not load again. He will sit and drain his power to zero, even with cable connected sector, if the plug is disconnected even for a millisecond. The only way to load it again, is to shut off the computer and start upward.

    What the hell?

    Hi floydien,

Wow, Satellite P15 is really an oldie.

I m not an expert, but to me this looks like a battery or motherboard problem. A battery can be recharged about 500 times and after that it will lose a lot of power. This means that you can work a few minutes only on battery mode.

In your case, I'll try a new battery. If it doesn t work I think you need a new mainboard.
Also take a look on eBay. There you can get second hand cheap parts sometimes.
