Hello
Right click on the desktop - customize - Screen Saver - uncheck the "On Resume, the logon screen".
Panel - Power - top right of control Options - require a password on wakeup - tick don't require passwords
-Save the changes.
You can also change the settings there to Dim or turn off the screen and those of sleep.
I hope this helps.

My x 360 spectrum stops to get into sleep after a few hours of normal behavior. In other words, when the computer is started first, he put on standby and Hibernate mode then normally after the specified idle period. It can then be woken up and work normally and then to go back to sleep after inactivity - during a few hours. It stops working after the computer has been for a few hours. I don't know exactly how much time must be in place before this problem starts, but once it ceases to be able to sleep, the only way to solve the problem is to reboot the system. Once the problem occurs, the computer turns off the screen but that's it. He will sleep if I do it manually by pressing the button of power or a click on the Windows button and forcing them to sleep or hibernation.
I watched powercfg /requests and there is nothing listed that could prevent sleep. I ran also report with fluo compact powercfg and it also does not list something that prevents apparent sleep.
NOTE: The energy report is also EVEN if the system still works correctly.
I could use help to determine what is the cause of this condition.
Thank you. See below for diagnostic information:

Controls of Type ACPI Performance (P) performance / Throttle (T)I found a thread on Microsoft answers community web site. Unfortunately, it seems that Microsoft has not fixed even though this thread is over a year. This has been driving me crazy. In any case, the problem is with Windows 8.1 and is caused by the use of a Microsoft account to connect to the computer. If the account is not connected, after a few hours the computer stops to fall asleep. If you close the MS account, then the computer will sleep normally. My dose is to convert my connection from the local computer to a local account and disconnect from Microsoft. This process is easy to do, go into the settings of PC and disconnect the account. It will keep your original profile.
Here is the link to the thread that got clued in the solution:
I consider this resolved issue that HP is concerned. Microsoft needs to address the issue. I'm not interested in switching to Windows 10 for compatibility reasons and, in this regard, the same problem can exist in the W10.

Power save comes into play after a few minutes of play Eve, an online game. I then have to manually turn off the PC before it can be restarted. I adjusted the power settings on the PC and it happens to sleep. I contacted Dell and downloaded a difficulty that has not worked. I have a question pending for Eve support staff, but thought that I can get a fix here.
Check power Panel ctrl if win xp, and together turn it off hard drive option never, you can also disable the screen saver, disable standby of the system or in Hibernate besides.

I installed the HP4620 wireless printer, now OSX you waking up from his sleep after about 15 minutes, it didn't happen until I installed the HP4620. So I opened a terminal and did a search for why the printer wakes up, the result was:
Wake up the reason: GLAN HDEF EHC2
I couldn't find any information about it, so I turned off and unplugged the printer, then turn on the computer sleep (which "now takes about a minute to sleep), now OSX wakes up after 45 minutes. So with the printer off and it's wake up yet, I think it must be something to do with the HP software installed?
Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions to correct sleep would be appreciated.
Thank you
Thanks for the reply but reset the SMC did not work, I have reinstaled 10.8.3 OSX then the printer and sleep works again. Forgot to mention, I am running a Hackintosh on a Gigabyte H77N-wifi Board but never had any problems with sleep or HP printers, it not was not up to what I have installed the HP4620 sleep has become is down with insomnia.

The display turns off after a few minutes and shows 'No Signal'
Hey guys, I was faced with a weird problem recently. My desktop monitor turns off by itself after a few minutes, but the works of CPU, I can hear the fan running and see the lights blink. One thing I noticed, is that when the screen turns off, the light Orange on the processor rest on which flashes normally just. My PC works normally on the mode without failure, but worse, safe mode, but I can't work on my software CorelDRAW. This may be the problem of SMPS? because recently, my entries of mouse and keyboard did not work due to which I got a USB keyboard and a mouse. I recently installed Windows 7 64 bit, but I think that shouldn't cause the problem since I have worked with Windows 64-bit before on the same machine.
PC configuration-
Intel Core 2 Duo 4500 @ 2.20 Ghz processor
ASUS P5QPL-AM motherboard
3 GB RAM
No (not sure, maybe integrated) graphics card
1 TB harddrivePS - I couldn't find an exact category for my problem.
Hey Archer
Currently, I formatted my Windows 7 and installed Windows 8 and am these problems persist. I have not upgraded but formatted my C drive and installed a fresh new copy of windows 8... so I thnk it may be a problem of the SMP. Can he?Hi sunny
It can or mentioned being SMPS... the reason is... you have already said that the computer or the monitor works fine in safe mode! But since his past even when you install Windows 8,To make troubleshooting a1. go to the Bios and reset all default by selecting the optimum setting in the bios... Given that your motherboard has got characteristic overclocking and selection of the IGD... let him get by default... Start the computer and check if the monitor turns off always.2. If step 1 does not solve your problem... then go to the power option in the control panel and select your power setting of the high-performance system where you can set your monitor to never go to sleep. See what's happening... If the monitor still going to sleep even after this setting... then you have a problem with drivers or the motherboard... try updating the drivers and see if that helps.3. If the update of drivers did not help... so the next option is to review your material... try to get a replacement screen and see if this could solve this problem... A things you can deduct that if this also fails, then the obvious reason is that your monitor is ok... and problem must be the motherboard.4. Firstly check the display port... does it feel loose?a. do you have this port pins come out?b. your motherboard has two power connections (EATXPWR 24-pin and a 4-pin ATX 12V... are both connected?c. your SMP should be at least 400W according to recommendations from the manufacturer to you. Check this box...d. then ofcourcse obviously... Reinstall the Rams and other external devices.Follow these steps and let me know your comments for each
