Computer hibernates randomly during games

I have a Hp 2000-350us with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit Edition, Intel Pentium B950 / 2.1 GHz Dual-Core, 4 GB ram (1 x 4 GB) view bright Hd lcd, intel HD Graphics 3000 with 1.65 GB of video memory.

Until recently, every time I've been playing games on my pc like mw2 or halo, it will be fine for about 30 min then the screen will go black and after about a min the machine stops. After that I turn back says "recovery windows" as he does when he wakes up

I checked for the virus, I cleaned the air vent and it's on my desk at home so im sure that is not over heating and my machine is certainly capable of managing games

I may just have to go to 8 GB of ram

Please help me this problem becomes very annoying

  • HP Pavilion Touch Smart 23: computer restarts randomly during games

So I got this computer from little more than 3 years.  It's an all-in-one PC. Ive never had any problems until a month ago, whenever I play League of Legends, my PC will go to a black screen and initialize back without error message.  Only, this happened while I play this game. Also, sometimes it will freeze, with red lines through the screen and a buzz. This happens not all the games of League of Legends, I play, just about all of the other games or more.

Ive already conducted tests of HARD drive. I have program where the temperature is controlled and is not overheating, the max I get is 80 c on the CPU.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Here are the specs:

    OS: 10 64-bit Windows

    GPU: AMD Radeon HD 8400

    CPU: AMD A6-5200

    RAM: 16 GB DDR3

    Motherboard: AMPKB-CT Azure

Thank you for the additional information.

I re-read your original post.  It seems that this problem is only on one game.  That tells me that it may need to have installed patches.  In addition, if you play online, you can consult with a Technical Support for the Web site that you use.  When it is only happening in one match it's normally fixes or parameters that are the problem.

  • Satellite P100-240 crashes randomly during game play

I recently bought the laptop above and could not be happier, bar one exception, every time I try to play a game (what happened with all the games I've tried) the machine stops after a random amount of time, whether it's 5 minutes or an hour.

After reading the manual I first thought it was a problem, but after cutting all the settings at least I always get the same heating problem. I tried to update the bios and the graphics card, but the problem persists, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I also think that it is an overheating problem. Maybe the cooling system is not getting enough fresh air and must be cleaned. Search this forum, it must be described some methods.

    Good bye

  • Qosmio X 300 hangs randomly during video games

I have a problem with my laptop. It hangs randomly during the search on the internet or video games or movies...
When he arrives, the screen goes black and the freezing of the sound.
I brought to the interview, but the components seems fine. I don't know what to do.

    Hello

You should try to use the Toshiba graphics card driver as its use on the drivers from 3rd-party pages could lead to highest GPU temperature that would cause problems.
Additional try update BIOS if newer version is available.

  • Computer freezes completely during the game

    Hello

I always noticed when you try to run a computer games that my computer going for a reason completely freeze. I noticed this happen on Age of Empires III and Dawn of War II and also it happened on World of Warcraft. This is exactly what is happening:

When I start the game (Dawn of War II for example) - it will take care of apparently very well, but then when I start trying to do things (until I connect even on and all the campaign mode) computer freezing suddenly completely, even if I'm still able to move the mouse, I'm unable to click on anything whatsoever or even escape on my desk which leads me to the conclusion that maybe my computer entire freezes and not just the game it's self. Sometimes, however, the sound of music from the game freezes as suddenly and will loop the sound and then then the computer hangs while the game is running, however most often, the computer freezes and the sound at the same time. I'm honestly at a loss on how to solve this problem and I bought Dawn of War II, anxious to play, to do then. I am extremely frustrated.

Here are some features of the computer:

Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit)
    Service Pack 2
AMD Athlon (TM) 8450 Triple-Core processor 2.10 GHz
    3G RAM
    Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 8200
    Chipset: GeForce 9200

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hello Joshuarrr,

    Thanks for the reply.

Ideally, updates do not cause the version of the driver to change on your computer. If the driver updates are change the version of your video card, then the problem could be related to NVidia and I suggest that you contact NVidia support in this regard. Here is a link I found his support page:

    https://store.nvidia.com/DRHM/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayContactFormPage&siteid=NVIDIA&locale=en_US&env=base

    I hope this information helps.

  • Exception of the service during games or watch anything

So recently received and may not know why, just seem random, but occurs mainly during games or watch anything, last BSOD I got wasn't readable.

Already tried sfc.exe/scannow to check for problems and completely reinstalled my graphic drivers and it did not help.

Do a dump of my last fall:
    http://1drv.Ms/1A1Sys6

This is a new computer, so it's a little disturbing that this is happening

    Care if it helps.

    MEMORY: 16GB 2 x 8 GB DDR3 / 2133 mhz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair Vengeance Pro w/sink)
Power SUPPLY: Corsair 750 Watt CX750 Gaming power
    OS: Windows Microsoft® 8.1
FAN: Corsair Hydro Series H55 quiet cooling system liquid
    VIDEO: AMD Radeon R9 290 X 4 GB 16 X PCIe video card
CPU: AMD FX - 9370 GHz 4.40 eight cores AM3 + CPU 8 MB of L3 Cache & Turbo Core technology
    Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 AMD 990 X Chipset, CrossFire / SLI support, ATX Mainboard w / 4 RAM slots, 7.1 Audio, GbLAN, USB3.0, RAID, SATA-III/s

If you go, I'd start with a drink, it of a bit less drastic and keeps all your files/settings/preferences.  However if you have nothing to lose it and want a more full reset to factory settings completely, the "Reset" option is also available.

There are very few essential services that Windows cannot load without them, but if they are damaged at this point I think a reset/refresh is certainly a good option.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Communities.

I'm sorry to know that you are experiencing random system failures and restarts. Let me help you with this problem.

116 code indicates that an attempt to reset display driver and recover a timeout failed. It designates the graphics settings in relation to the programs of those who are using your graphics card.

    1. What is the brand and model of the PC?

    2. only the computer restarts when you use a particular program or a game?

I suggest you to reinstall the card graphic/display driver and check if it helps.

    1. Open Device Manager by clicking on the button 'Start '.
    2. Click on the "Control Panel", "System and security", then click on Device Manager under "System",".
    3. In the list of hardware categories, find "adaptateur adapter display, right-click on the display device.

    4. Click on the "Driver" tab, click "uninstall."

Now, download the driver from the manufacturer's Web site and install it.
    Refer to the section:
To download or get up-to-date driver yourself

  • Computer crashes when playing games online

Original title: why my pc freezes during games online

I use internet explore as my browser. Last week I got the virus and I took my PC to * out of box condition * with the help of Toshibia. Now, I'll have this gel which I didn't have before. I removed a player in real time and ran a few downlods FIX IT Microsoft. What else can I try?

    Hello

Method 1: Run a virus with Microsoft Safety scanner scan and verify.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Method 2: Perform a clean boot and check.

To help solve problems, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

If the computer works fine in a clean boot state, check which service is causing this problem by following the steps in this article.

Note: After troubleshooting, put the computer into normal mode following the KB article.

    Hope this information helps.

  • Jerky/black screen during games

All my games are going to a black screen and hangs during games, sometimes they just becomes extremely agitated, but always very unplayable. I've tried everything. Disabling/uninstalling my antivirus. Reinstall the games only for Windows 7 in compatibility mode. I also started by selecting only the Microsoft Drivers and still nothing.

Any help will be amazing. I like all the other parts of windows 7... I don't want to go back to Windows Vista...

    Thank you

    amfavs,
Without a doubt make sure that the vents are clean and the fans are working properly.  This happens on any game or only some of them?  Windows 7, an upgrade or a new installation?  Did update you your video driver from the manufacturer website PC or video chipset manufacturer website?  If you have the video driver from the manufacturer of PC, you can check with the video chipset manufacturer site because they may have a driver more up-to-date.

I could solve the problem by going to the manufacturing of system site and download the updates I needed. Once I installed all the updates for my video driver, the games worked well.

  • My computer turns off during an update to windows xp and now windows xp will not load.

My computer turns off during an update to windows xp and now windows xp will not load.  It gives me the option of last known good configuration and safe mode startup and normal startup, but it just goes back to the loading screen then flashes a blue error screen then back to display boot options.  I don't have a recovery disc as the laptop does not have a CD-ROM drive or a floppy drive.  I have the product key, but I don't know where or how repair the operating system.

Contact the manufacturer of your laptop as there must be a way to restore the computer. There may be a hidden restore partition.
