Computer HP laptop model # 15 - F009WM: Microsoft Office
I just bought HP laptop 15-F009WM model number. I see now that it does not come with Microsoft Windows Office. Now, I also see that there is no CD/DVD drive on this model. There is a space of RL in car in the "shell" but not button to open the player. I am incorrect and is it the door and I'm just too stupid to understand how to open it? And if indeed there is no door, how do I add Microsoft Office Windows when I install the disk I have? Thanks in advance. Any help is appreciated.
Hello
You can reuse your old Microsoft Office installation disc, and you need to talk to Microsoft when re - activate the product. I don't think that HP can help you in this case. Many machines now come with Microsoft Office 365, you can pay for 1 year or older to use the product.
Kind regards.

original title: DOC files
Cannot open DOC files that are sent to me. I have wordpad and Notepad on my computer but you do not have Microsoft Office. Most of the time, I get a screen that says 'open' or 'save' the file and when I click on 'Open', this message disappears. Sometimes it opens, but the message is completely scrambled with letters and symbols.
Cannot open DOC files in wordpad or Notepad. you will need a more advanced software suite. Try OpenOffice.org - it's free, and it supports the DOC format. But the best solution is to get Microsoft Office once and for all.
Download OpenOffice.org: http://download.openoffice.org/contribute.html?download=mirrorbrain&files/stable/3.2.1/OOo_3.2.1_Win_x86_install-wJRE_en-US.exe. Note: Click on the link at the bottom that says "http://download.services.openoffice.org/files/stable/3.2.1/OOo_3.2.1_Win_x86_install-wJRE_en-US.exe" to download the program.
This should solve your problem,

I bought a laptop that already had 2007 program above. I recently bought a new laptop and I was told that I could transfer my 2007 Microsoft Word and Excel to my new laptop computer using my product key of my older laptop. How to get this transfer?
Unless you have purchased a retail version of Office, it cannot be installed on one new/another PC
You cannot transfer a program, you need the original installation and the program key support
See if your key is validated on this MS site if it's download/save the Setup file and install then, having first uninstalled any Office pre-installed on the new PC trial

Click on Toshiba Mini - lack of Microsoft Office
I'll try to be as clear and concise as possible.
I just bought a Toshiba with Windows 8 and supposedly click Mini a free one year subscription to Office 365 Personal, which was a big reason to buy. Windows 'guest' improves immediately to 10 Windows, I did. When I looked through the apps install Office/activate my membership there was nothing! I have reset the device and he is now on Windows 8, but still no office! I spoke with someone from Microsoft tech and he says I need a product key, but there is certainly nothing in the box or on the computer. This model is provided with Office 365 preinstalled and only that requires activation? Is it possible to restore the device to exactly as it was fresh out of the box?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light!

I have exactly the same problem. Bought mine a month ago. Only reason why I chose this particular model was the free subscription of office. I call customer service today but remained without response (even if it was only about an hour). Wonder how much people is tearing their hair on that one? Well, good luck to everyone who is affected, hope that the customer service will come with a solution, otherwise I would consider this a clear case of a product sold!

My Compaq Presario F500 uses the Microsoft Vista operating system. I tried to install the trial version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. The installation failed and began to 'undo changes' after that that we discovered the previous versions of the trial had been detected. During the uninstall or process "cancel changes", I unplugged my laptop. It was powered by the adapter, no battery. Now, when I start my computer, it goes to Windows Recovery screen. Once I selected "Boot mode safe" or any other option, including the BIOS screen, it goes straight to a black screen and stops. My computer was purchased with Windows Vista preloaded. Any ideas on what is causing the black screen does not? My files on this computer has not been saved. Independent repairers are load and arms and legs. Y at - it an easy solution to this problem that I was able to help out so that my laptop will boot and go to my Windows screen and normal office?

Microsoft Office does not work on my laptop satellite
Hello
Earlier this year, I bought a Toshiba Satellite. Trying to access Microsoft office now, I told myself I am without license or expired and am scheduled to renew the license. In previous computer purchase, I've always been able to access Word etc cos he was part of the computer.
Why should I buy again when I thought I was buying it with the computer now?
> when I thought I was buying it with the computer
Evil. When you buy laptop with OS preinstalled, you will get the trial version which can be used for 60 days only. After this time, you must purchase license code valid for activation. With other words, you will get the package Office preinstalled for testing purposes.
