  Calzona75,

  You currently have 512 MB of RAM installed, which is the bare minimum for Windows Vista. I would go ahead and assume that it is the big problem.
  RAM is a physical piece of equipment that you are installing. I recommend the upgrade at least 1 GB, 2 GB preferably. Once it is finished, it will feel like a whole new computer!
