computers do not recognize router WRT110

I have 3 computers and none of them recognize my router.  I have the router not found. The worker router recently and everything stopped. For me to get on the internet I have to use a signal from neighbors.

Can I or should I uninstall and reinstall the router?

Thank you

Try to create a manual Profile (SSID, Network Type, Network Key) wireless and see if it connects... What is the system installed on the computer.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones computers do not recognize that Pearl attached

My two laptops do not recognize when the Pearl is more attached to them. The Desktop Manager shows that no device is connected. The phone company said that Pearl may have become faulty. The device is not even a year old and it worked fine with the Desk top Manager to sync with my Outlook (address book and calendar). I've lost this ability, two weeks ago. Unfortunately, none of the fixes listed here appear to have worked. Are there other people who have had or have the same problem? Any soloutions that worked? Thank you.

Well, I thought I read that in the post, sorry.

I always thing it's worth a trip to the local service company and see if it can be detected here.

It is still the only common element. Charge does not guarantee that all of the pins used for the transfer of data

    are in use, necessarily.

  • Computer does not recognize router befsr41 after that I tried to reset it.

So earlier today, I tried to reset my router because for some reason that I could not log in with my password I use normally, after switching to AT & T of the Charter (from DSL cable)

Just after that, we moved the router does not either, but we called linksys for repair, but we had to pay $30 and I'd rather not do it again.

Anyway, my computer will not completely recognize my router. I can't access it is based on the web options page, if I try to use the CD it will say that my computer is not connected. I know the cables are connected correctly.

Oh and also, why I couldn't use my old password?

Someone at - it an idea on what could be wrong?

As you have activated your ISP to a cable on the DSL. The first thing you need to do is, pick up your Modem to the router. Let your Modem is connected to your computer. Press and hold the button of reset for 30 seconds... Release the reset button... Unplug the power cable from your router, wait 30 seconds and reconnect the power cable... Now re - configure your router...

Open an Internet Explorer browser on your computer (desktop) wired page. In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press ENTER... Let the empty user name & password use admin lowercase...

Once you connect to the Setup page of your router, on the Configuration tab, you need to change the local IP address to 192.168.2.1 and click on save settings.

Once the settings are successful, unplug the power from your router and Modem. Connect the Ethernet cable from your Modem to the Internet Port Linksys router. Connect the power to your Modem first, wait until all lights are cover, connect the power supply to the Linksys router. Once all the lights are solid check if you are able to browse the Internet on your computer.

  • My laptop that is running windows xp does not recognize the computers on the network running windows 7. Any advice?

I recently created my home network again.  It consists of a laptop running windows 7 Professional 64 b, b Office windows 7 Professional 32 running and a netbook under windows xp home.  Two computers running windows 7 recognize each other and share correctly, but the netbook will not recognize the other computers on the network at all.  They can see it, but then say they can't access them when you are trying to access.  They are all on the same workgroup.  Computers that run windows 7 discovered the network, file and printer sharing, and public folder sharing all lit.  Password sharing is disabled and windows manages the homegroup connections.  Any advice would be appreciated, I need to use computer dvd players 7 on the network to install some things on the netbook.

  • Router modem does not recognize

I use a Modem SB5120 Motorola on Comcast, which works perfectly well when it is connected directly to my computer or my old router, a Linksys WRT120N.

The router is dying slowly, so I bought a new one (Asus RT - 53N). He could not recognize an incoming WAN signal and establish an internet connection, with the exception of one, several hours window. In the contrary case, it seemed to work fine.

I returned it and bought a Linksys E2500, who seems to have the same problem, because it does not receive an IP from the modem.

I tried all the settings of the previous router (MAC clone, DNS1 and DNS2 address) mirroring unsuccessfully.

As far as I know, the modem is not compatible with the newer routers for a reason any (I have or all 4 tech different support people I called) can't think, or there is some kind of configuration setting I'm missing. I'd appreciate any help before I go and buy a new modem.

    New modem resolved the problem.

  • Router LinkSys WRT160N V2 does not recognize my USB SMC EZ Connect 11 Mbps Wireless

I have a Linksys WRT160N V2 router. So far I have correctly connected, using two 'wired' connections, my laptop and the printer. I was able to add two DS, Wii, wireless, another laptop and a PC. The laptop that connected wireless uses the D-Link wireless device and the PC uses an other SMC wireless device. All these things correctly connect through wireless connections. The last PC I tied to conenct uses USB SMC EZ Connect 11 Mbps Wireless. This computer can actually 'see' the Linksys router and this is the SSID. When I try to connect to him, he thinks about it for about 5-10 seconds and then fate and says "Detected wireless networks". Ironically, a neighbor also has a Linksys router. Its protected by WEP, but for some reason, my PC is ready to connect to the Linksys router (has a different SSID), but since I do not know the WEP key (I don't want to actually connect to sound at least) it shows the strength of connection 11 Mbit/s and of course, does not have an IP address. Why my router does not recognize my Wireless Linksys router? I even used the LELA 'Search' application for new devices, and he can't find it, all the while my PC 'sees' the router and fails to connect. Someone knows why? FYI, the PC in question just had XP loaded on it (total reconstruction) and has never been only once on the interent.

If you have disable wireless security is disabled, and if still you are not connect to your wireless network, then I think you should try upgrading the drivers for your SMC card, once you update the drivers for you adapter after this you can try to connect to your wireless network.

  • C4385 does not recognize the new router

Just changed internet service providers.  Although I used this vendor before and not had any problems with my printer, I now have a problem.  My C4385 will not recognize the new network.  Hp network connection software that I run has no effect.   It will not detect a network even if my computer shows an excellent connection to the network.

When I run the wireless network test report it shows "FAIL" next to "Network Name (SSID) Found."  The recommendation is to "check that your HP printer (SSID) name exactly matches your name (SSID) wireless router.

I am completely baffled by the present.  I've seen other questions that are similar to this, but none that refer to my model exactly.  Any help is appreciated.

    Please, try the following:

    1. disconnect the USB cable from your printer

    2. make sure to delete any previous copies of your HP printer from the printers (in Control Panel) screen

    3. restart your PC

    4. under the printers screen, enter the following print server properties screen:

XP: File > print server properties

Vista: right click on the area of the screen information, and then select run as administrator > print server properties (law as Administrator option will not allway appear)

Win7: Select any other printer in a left click and you will see the properties of the print server to the Menu bar top

On the Ports tab, be sure to remove any existing TCP/IP port.

    5. remove temporarily disable your firewall software

    6. start the installation and select reconfigure the network connection / add a device.
