• Optional hardware update interfering with internet connection

  I downloaded two support.microsoft.com optional hardware updates this past weekend, and one of them is interfering with my internet connection.  I am running Windows XP Edition family and try to use internet explore to connect.  I talked to tech support at my ISP and determined that it is not a problem with their service.  How can I identify what update caused this problem and uninstall it?

• HP Pavilion 13-P100SS X 2: HP Pavilion 13-P100SS X 2 hardware update

  Hello! I just have a small question on the HP Pavilion 13-P100SS X 2. The thing is I'm starting to use it to make music, and the DAW (music production software) needs a lot of resources, I'm afraid more than the product. So my question is: this compatible with some hardware first product updates? In particular, I want to add more RAM, at least an additional 4 GB (to make a total of 8 GB). I would also like to put a processor more, perhaps an i5 or i7, or is it only compatible with AMD processors? And a SSD?

  An Intel processor is a non-starter. I couldn't find a service manual for the AMD models, but on models from Intel, memory is soldered to the motherboard that are the processors so I guess that it is the same for AMD versions. It is possible to remove and replace the hard drive with an SSD, but it is a very delicate piece of surgery.

  I tried to update my graphics card because I do not have because I bought my computer.   I plan to upgrade my PC to a core i7 6. I use 70% PP 2016 and 30% AE 2016.

  At the moment, I was looking for in the following specifications:

  Intel i7 - 5930K

  ASUS X 99 - A (aka: X 99-Pro - don't see the advantage yet)

  Samsung 950 Pro (media or OS) M2

  -32 GB G.Skill RipJaws V CL14

  Issues related to the:

  -Using i7 4790 still - he'll be a great performance at 5930K step?

  -The new Samsung 950 Pro M2 will work fine. Recommend for OS and applications or 4K media files?

  -The motherboard will provide enough to see CPU to run all components correctly?

  99 x all motherboards should support both the aisle 28 and 40 tracks cpu. You can see the support page for an official list of supported CPUs

  If you plan to use a single gpu, chances are you don't need track 40 cpu.

  I said skylake was a loss on your i7-4790 so that its only 2-3% faster, maybe I was not very well that Word. I would recommend if you want more speed, you would need to 6 hearts or higher. Skylake = bad, x 99 = good.

  The i7 - 6850 k and i7 - 6800 k should be more 5% faster than the last generation i7 - 5820 k and i7 - 5930 k.

Ko 2572073; Ko 2518864 on my two computers.  Yet, icon on the toolbar shows updates to do.  @ Update site is the same updates available for download.  You run ESET AV; Scan Windows security + fix (@ aggressive setting).  The results show no infestation.  Icon remains on the toolbar of the two computers, same updates are available @ update site.  @ Quick ESET go to site was updated several times.  Have also run successfully system restore.  Site Update says these updates files have zero content + don't take no time to download.  Have made several times this loop.  Need a solution please.

  You will need to just to uninstall, and then in the future you will need to install one to run the videos. When the wizard appears, do not click on automatic updates, use the one that will notify you before trying to install, but if it is the one you want to use, and then click No update, because it requires a long installation update process.

  I assume you mean on Tempro software... this software informs you about updates on the Toshiba page. It is not a recommendation for an update, but simply an alert that new updates has been published...

  If your laptop is running properly, then update the BIOS is not really necessary...
  You must follow these tips; never change a running system ;)

  Design of portable computers is completely different than on desktop computers and updated graphics card is not possible.

  Hi boinc127, I don't have the log of changes from the last update, but if you have no special numbers its better to not be affected in the present case because it has a prittey complicated procedure to get this installed update, Adi.

  I tried to install an optional update from Windows on my Compaq w / Vista. The update was for my Canon MP190 driver but when the update failed to install I got the error code following 80070012.

  As far as I know everything is still working ok, so should I worry because the update was optional?

  do * not * get hardware updates to windows/microsoft updates web page unless your equipment is being microsoftmanufacturered... always get hardware drivers (when you need it) of the actualmanufacturer of the product.

  I am running XP Professional.  Since the upgrade to Quickbooks 2010, I can not install three MS updates, and can I update Adobe Reader version 8 to version 9.  The MS updates remaining in my queue are:

  The optional software updates are generally safe - although I recommend
  against the 'Windows Search' one and all of the "Office Live" those or
  "Windows Live" which for the moment.  I would like to avoid completely the
  Optional hardware updates.

  Seriously - do these things.  It's like antibiotics - do not skip a single
  step, don't leave because you think it will be ok now - review
  until the end, until you have done all given in the order shown.  If
  you have a problem with a step to ask and let someone here, you get
