  According to the manual, it seems that the device spits just continuously information to the serial port. Thus, you must configure the communication parameters set to indicate what character is used to indicate the end of the line. This is most likely a line break. If you make a capture of text file using HyperTerminal, you should be able to figure it out by looking at the text file with a hex editor. Alternatively, you can use PortMon. If you don't know how to do this, simply download a captured file and someone here can tell you is that the stop character.

  Knowing the stop character will allow you to read an entire line at a time. If you open the example of "Advanced Serial write and read" which comes with LabVIEW, you can test this out. In your case, you want the toggle switch to 'write' offshore.   Felix, welcome to the forum.

  There is only one PCI Express x 16 (Genesis 3) slot for a video card.  With respect to liquid cooling, medium size case do not have a lot of space.  I have a Phoenix 860-170VR with an R9-390 X video card and it is extremely tight.  However, having said that, I think you wouldl be pleasantly surprised by the way the computer will be with existing components.  I can play COD series on the best settings.

  One question; have you tried to power the laptop without inserting the HARD drive?
  Usually if the laptop is ok, it should be possible to boot the laptop. Of course the laptop will not load the Windows operating system because the HARD drive is missing but it should be able to start and the led must Flash not!
