Concurrent program is not running in parallel

Hello

There is a simultaneous custom program that must be run in order, sometimes and sometimes it should be able to run in parallel. The program was defined initially to be incompatible with itself and it is used to run only in sequence, as planned, but when the incompatibility with the self has been deleted or disabled can still, he runs in the order but does not run in parallel. What could be the reason?

As a temporary solution, I tried to remove the simultaneous program and recreate and defined without any inconsistency and it works in parallel. But it won't help the incompatibility could be switched on/off often enough and recreate the simultaneous program every time is not a good idea.

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards
RAM

Whenever you toggle incompatibilities, please make sure that you bounce the CM.

  • do not display menu when the program is not running

Hi, I did with an XControl I can start the program with a start button.
I deselected the toolbar, Run and Abort button when runnning and the program runs with only a custom Menu, just like I want.
When the program stops the menu and the toolbar is visible (as usual). My question is - can you choose not to show the menu and the toolbar when the program does NOT work?

Once the program is distributed to end users, edit mode is meaningless. Built in a standalone application or at least to define its 'open operation' and close once. The program should never be in a stopped state. Create a state machine passing the State idle when it's not what anyone.

  • Where in Windows 7 Pro to release the program does not run all computer starts?

Where in Windows 7 Professional to release the program is not to turn on and start any computer starts?

    Hello

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.
You can go to start-> click on all programs-> select start. You can find all the programs that run at startup, here. Deleting will stop them from running at startup.
You can also open the System Configuration to disable all programs running during startup. Go to start-> type msconfig.exe-> press ENTER. IF UAC prompts, click Yes. Opens the System Configuration window. Now go to the Startup tab and disable all applications (to remove the tick) you want to stop from running at startup. Click on apply and then OK. Restart the PC, once done.

PC works fine in SafeMode w / networking.

    Help please,
    PC Professional, accounting files needed!
    SOS!

The fact that your system works well in Safe Mode (w / network) indicates that a program run as part of your startup that causes this condition.  Safe mode is nothing else than Windows running with a bare minimum of programs and processes required to start your system (that is, all non-essential is cut off).

This problem will be a proposal of chance.  You need start your computer Safe Mode and run a configuration manager (msconfig or autoruns) and disable programs that run automatically at startup, until you find the (s) which is causing your problem in a selective way.  First turn off non-Microsoft and programs that extend if necessary MS programs.  These programs will warn you generally if you try to disable something you shouldn't.  After you turn off some of them, you restart normally and see if the problem persists.  Once you find the program/process disturbed, the procedure is usually obvious as to the difficulty (usually UN-installing then re - install)

  • A program will not run unless I run as another user

    Shortcut does not work

I have Windows XP Pro and am logged on as a domain administrator. There is a particular shortcut on my desktop that does NOT open the EXE file it designates. I see a brief hourglass and then nothing. Other shortcuts work fine. The ONLY way to launch this particular EXE must right-click, select run as, click the LOWER radio button and then enter the SAME credentials, that I used to connect to the origin. Curiously, if I leave the radio button selected HIGH and try to run the program I get the same reaction I do by double-clicking on the shortcut directly on the desktop.

I replaced the EXE existing with a new copy, deleted and recreated the shortcut, no joy. An analysis of the AV shows nothing.

If anyone has experienced this before? Can anyone offer pointers? Thanks in advance.

  • Program does not run on Windows 7 Desktop

When I go to start a specific program that has been installed on the computer using a disk, the program doesn't start, nothing happens not. I double-click the shortcut on my desktop (.exe file), and then click Yes to change Administrator box that appears. The mouse wheel is displayed for about 2 seconds, then disappears, nothing happens. It's never happened before. I had this program for a very long time and have only stopped using for a few months. It is always installed on the computer and has always worked on my computer with my power plug, so there is no reason why it should not start now. I appreciate all the comments put to solve this problem. It's really bugging me!

    Thank you.

Yes, if it is this problem, the administrator message is bogus.

It may be different, in my case it was for games was the CD/DVD was necessary to be able to run the game.

However, instead of uninstall an update (you can re - install later if you wanted to), try the solution of "batch file" I mentioned in the post:

    -----

    Right click on the desktop

    Click new

    Click on text document

    Open the new document.

In what will be 'Start' paste:

secdrv sc config = auto start
    SC start secdrv

then click on [file] [Save as]

    Do "Save as." *

Give it the name you want (remember .bat at the end for example 'ServiceStart.bat')

    Click Save.

    Repeat for 'Stop' but paste

    SC stop secdrv
secdrv sc config start = off

This time, call it something different of your choice, for example "ServiceStop.bat".

For the moment, I have with the right button of the "start.bat", choose "Run as Administrator", enter my Admin password and then run the game.

When I finished the game, I run the "stop.bat" also by right click and "Run as Administrator".

    -----

IF this is the same problem that the game should work after you run the first batch file and when you finish the game, start the second file.

However, if you want to uninstall the update to see - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/24373-windows-update-uninstall-update.html
