Conductor of telepresence on dial

Hey guys,.

I'm running into a problem where I can not the conductor of telepresence to dial on a TCS alias record.  I configured a location and a car participant made up, but when I have 2 people to participate in the Conference I never see the driver dial a number in the alias of the record.  I have checked the VCS logs and see nothing.  I'm sure I'm missing something stupid, but any help would be appreciated.  This is a new installation of net.

Looks like you have a misconfigured port somewhere check your settings bridge conference Chief of Orchestra and conductor in your VCS area, make sure that all ports that you use match as well as the Protocol. The logs show that you use TLS, so you'll want to port 5061.

    Hello

Any RDC to export report driver Telepresence is possible, as CUCM. or for having reported, we require MSDS. Pls suggest

Conductor send data CDR what whether you are looking for the moment, see bug CSCuj42268, in order to get the Conference CDRs, you'll need to add conference bridges in MSDS. Below the limits of statement are described with conductor conferences.

    • Detail records (CDRs) of appeal conference bridges managed by TelePresence driver will contain all ConferenceIDs.
    • Conductor of telepresence itself does not feed back any conference CDRs to Cisco TMS. Bridges will be however, if added to the Cisco TMS.
    • According to the direction of the call, you could get incomplete of the COR, as outgoing calls can lead to incorrect data.
    • Bridge usage reports is not supported for conferences hosted on a driver of telepresence.

To read these terms and others, refer to the conductor with the TMS (XC3.0 with TMS 14.6) Deployment Guide.  You can also check the local CMR Deployment Guides for more information as well.

  • Conductor of telepresence + server without encryption?

I'm starting to get a little piece in our test environent with the free driver EGGS and telepresence server.

By reading the conductor 2.2 deployment guide, he refers to encryption keys + SIP TLS as 'necessary' a lot.  As our test environment does not have the encryption key on the telepresence server, is it possible to run the driver + TP server in non-secure mode if we do not have the key, or is it an absolute requirement for it?

Its a point 0 dollar, whereas if you are in a country not encrypted that should be an easy fix.

I've never tried without, a point can be its use of the api over https, which would be

fail on your box. Not sure the encryption of sip, but sure that could also be a show

Of course, you can try and report your success, but please do not ask if it doesn't

  • Conductor of telepresence clustered on the Wan

    Hey Cisco,

We want to deploy servers to clusters of 3 drivers (2 local) and 1 over the Wan to a different domain controller.

From clusters guide 2.x and 3.x it says we need 30 ms RTT between conductor servers, we currently 50ms RTT. Conductor 3.0 supports higher RTT? What are the implications of the higher deployment of conductor with RTT?

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/TD/docs/Telepresence/infrastructure/con...

    Thank you

The round-trip time is always the same, 30ms, and has not changed.

Insofar as any issue you might encounter if you exceed the round-trip time, take a look at this discussion driver-clustering-and-time of latency.

  • Conductor of telepresence-Install Wizard starts do not.

    Hi all

So I try to get an instance of telepresence driver running in my environment.  I have deployed the .ova 3.0.2 and 2.4.1 on different ESX hosts, but whatever the version or host when the device initializes and I connect with the user by default and password it just goes straight to the # prompt.  I am never prompted with the Setup Wizard.

Someone at - it suggestions?  Y at - it a command to start the Wizard manually?

If you get a sign # and not prompt for configuration wizard, it looks that you are logged as root.  Can you provide a screenshot to check?

You must sign in with the username "admin" and password "TANDBERG" If that's all new deployment.

  • Failover of telepresence conductor

    Hello

We have a conductor & two telepresence conference bridge.

We are in the phase of deployment & assuming telepresence are registered in the conductor & driver is connected to 10.5 CUCM via SIP Trunk.

In this scenario, a conductor is a single point of failure. If the driver fails, CUCM will not be able to communicate with the telepresence.

What happens if the driver goes down? Users will not be able to make Conference calls? To reach the failover can I set up 2 different SIP trunks in CUCM, one for CUCM to the driver & second for CUCM to TP & assign priorities?

We have a gateway ISDN CTI-3241-GWISDNK9 as well. What is the best place to deploy the ISDN gateway in network? is it connected with driver or CUCM?

For the planning of conferences, which is also the best place for the costume of telepresence management? must connect with the driver or with CUCM?

    Kind regards

    Francisco

    Hello Francisco -.

To answer your question: what happens if the driver goes down?

Because CUCM sees the conductor as the conference bridge, as the telepresence server is located behind the driver, no conference that use the driver would be able to begin to be.  It would be the same as if you were using TelePresence server directly with CUCM and it should fail, no conference using the TP server would be able to start.  The same would apply even if you have used the TMS.

  • Telepresence server, control assets drops Conference after 30 seconds

    Much of community support.

    I have the following Setup:

    10.5 (1) version CUCM

    Conductor of telepresence Version XC2.3

Telepresence Virtual Server Version: 4.0 (2.8)

    EX60 TC 7.1.4

    Cisco 9971, Firmware 1.0000 SR1

    Some other phones (7962, 6941)

All the end points are saved to CUCM.

When I do a conference appointment without active active control, everything works fine.

When I activate the active control (according to ActiveControlDeploymentGuideR3.pdf) the Conference ends after 30 seconds.

the Conference ends even if I have only one participant at the Conference and any of the phones that I use.

In CUCM, I configured the relevant parameter in the SIP profile (according to ActiveControlDeploymentGuideR3.pdf)

on the EX60 I use Active Control, so I see the list of participants and I am able to change the layout of the Conference within these 30 seconds.

    any ideas why this happens?

the journal of the conductor shows nothing statement

Journal of the conductor, it seems that CUCM closes the connection to RE-INVITE during the transition between the lobby.

There are several possible reasons, but the best way to determine "why" would be to open a track on CUCM.  More precisely a SDI/SDL (are later versions of CUCM SDL only) track on the CUCM 10.0.2.52 node.  Search for RE-INVITE him entering the IP phone and examine the lines of nearby log for some reason why.

Alternatively, you can try a few other things:

#1: Look in Service CUCM settings in the editor, then Cisco Call MAnager to the advanced parameter 'Maximum incoming message size' (there is an Advanced button, you must click above to expose this setting).  If you upgraded your CUCM from an earlier version, this value may need door to 11000 to manage RE-INVITE him to the conductor.

#2: try disabling the Protocol iX on the SIP, conductor profile and the alias of the meeting of the conductor.

  • Telepresence - alerts of telepresence Server driver

    Hello everyone
I was asked to set up the TC or TS to send alerts if the bandwidth is not enough.
Is there a way to do this?

Thanks a lot for your help.

    Kind regards.

Conductor and telepresence server is not no matter what type of alarm or e-mail notification, so that you would have to rely on TMS using systems > Event Notification Manager.  However, there are no notifications, which are integrated into the TMS specifically for any of these systems, suggest that take a look at the types of possible events available to see if one of them would help.  He is also asked if TMS can send notifications by e-mail based on the tickets of TMS, CSCut20400 and CSCuj91673.  In both cases, you should contact your account manager to see to have an enhancement request created for several types of events to add to TMS to tracking devices infrastructure managed by TMS as well as ask questions about TMS ticket improvements.

  • Mute participants on join

    Hey all,.

How I can cut all participants on the join using the conductor Server & telepresence?  I know there will be a JSON command, but I can't get the right combo.

Also, is there a way to disable the * 6 to activate yourself?

    Thank you

    Justin

To activate the audio Rx mute on join:

    {"callAttributes":{"audioRxStartMuted":true}}
It's not a way I saw in the guides API to disable the ' press * 6 to turn the sound back on "message.
  • MCU vs VCS

    Hello

IM pretty new to the Conference and I got confused on the following scenario:

I need to be a conference for 13 calls from the neighborhood of 13 other branches in full HD, now I need to deploy 5 monitors in the neighborhood and 2 monitors in each site.

    1. If I could see 5 full HD calls selected 4 branches as maximum, and a thumbnail view of active presence for the rest 10 called "like a small miniature screen" in the fifth form.

    2. I can view max for 2 full HD in each branch, which is the main player with someone else.

In my opinion for equipment would be as follows:

1 x C90 in the main office of DD, PR

13 x SX20 in every branch with DD, PR

    1xVCS in the main office

    1 x 5320 MCU

Whatever it takes? IM pretty confused now.

    Kind regards

The server all telepresence is to merge the calls in a conference - it is essentially a different type of MCU :)

Also note that while the C90 is able to 12Mbps full HD, it is when the C90 himself welcomes the call via its multisite functionality.  It can accommodate 3 or 4 calls at the same time in a conference, but you use not or need this feature if you have a MCU or TP server.

If I were you, my construction should look like this:

13 x MX200/MX300 (according to what screen size you wanted - it's the only real difference between the two)

    1 x Control VCS + 15 licenses non-traversal call

    1 telepresence Server 7010 + 12 x screen licenses

1 x SX80 + whatever screens/monitors you wanted, even if a MX700 may be a better choice (55 "double screens with built in codec)

1 x conductor of telepresence (free version).

Note that in this scenario, two of your endpoints to compose in 720 p, because 1 x display License = 1 call full HD or 2 x 720 p calls and the 7010 can only accommodate a maximum of 12 licenses of the screen.  The next top model can accommodate 48 but is much more expensive.

So, you would use driver + TP server to host all of your conferences, all of your points endpoint to register for VCS and deal in the Conference.

  • Number of TMS bridge

I am familiar with telepresence, but most of what I did was already and I just added or maintained.  Basically, I'm trying to find out where I can put the bridge number begins and ends for reservations.  Currently, if I book a meeting with the points of termination/users it starts at 2500 Conference number.  This is not desirable, and I'd rather start with 5 digits.  I was responsible for research and research in the Administrator's guide, and either, I'm missing it or it does not explain how to accomplish this task.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I use TMS 14.4.1, and when you go to my 4520 Codian settings in MSD there is also a menu under 'Settings' item, called 'Extended Settings':

    Extended settings

These parameters for MCU and telepresence server can only be defined in the TMS Cisco extended parameters. They cannot be changed by the Conference or set directly on the systems, and they are ignored if TelePresence driver manages the MCU or telepresence server.

Parameters expanded for conference bridges and conductor of telepresence

    Field Description

    Digital Base ID

The first number in an order sent to the participants in the Conference of TMS of Cisco. The number is used as the basis for the digital ID necessary during a call in the MCU, host of the Conference.

The digital ID is included in the booking confirmation e-mail message.

ID digital step Cisco TMS will add this number to the first meeting of identity to avoid duplicate digital ID. Like finishing conferences, their identity papers will be available new conferences.
Digital ID quantity The maximum number of simultaneous meeting IDs that can be generated. The maximum value that can be entered is 200.

  • Help me understand how the scheduling TMS add participating really means.

    Hello

I have a MSD working with the conductor and telepresence server.

Can I create a reservation and incoming and outgoing calls to telepresence rooms without any problems.

I n ' have local endpoint registered to my TMS so I add participant external tab, let's say I add 5 participants for H323 and SIP 5, so I have a meeting room with 10 reserved ports.

During the call to the meeting instead that it will fall into these 10 port reservation, instead, he join as an adhoc appeal and now the meeting room extended to 11 participants with 1 connected and not connected 10.

    Why?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Virtual TP servers supported by VMware Tools

Different telepresence servers that are not running Windows supports VMware Tools?

    Such as:

    • Conductor
    • Telepresence Server
    • VCS/Highway

One of my server admins asked me, so that if a reboot is required, we could perform a graceful shutdown/reboot through the guest OS instead of coercive power off/power on.

    Patrick,

The servers have their own flavor of the VMware tools installed within the application that allows to stop the virtual machines with elegance of in VMware.

  • Telepresence Server / conductor

I have a question about setting up locations and licenses on telepresence Server/conductor.

In the lab guide, you can create a site with AD Hoc and conferences go to one location. This require two licenses of location?

So you must put in place an MCU on telepresence BLAH ad hoc calls?  I use the telepresence server and conductor on VMware. It is connected to an IX5000.  Video calls go work with the three end points... but I can't have special video calls to work and that's really the question. I suspect that it's because I have only one license and the only defined place ad - hoc and configuration of Rendezvous.

When I try and add the third endpoint video none of the video is active and the conductor was not aware of any current conference.

    Hope make sense

    Hello

The ix5000 works in the same way that the CTS and make endpoints TX, she doesn't have the ability to promote a conference for a multimedia resource with a MRGL, only to make an audio call only and it fill in the call or the Conference on what it is. If you try to use it on a video endpoint it will join an audio only.

An another endpoint that supports ad-hoc escalation as endpoints software TC can make climbing to the multimedia resource (conductor in this case) and bring the ix5000 to a conference.
