  I was travelling this weekend after receiving my PlayBook on Thursday.  I tried to use my sister BlackBerry phone inbetween airports and hotels to try to connect to the internet via BlackBerry Bridge.  What I found, it was, the bridge has worked well to get the messages from the phone, but when trying to browse the web required from the bridge browser, which was extermely slow and pretty useless.  In addition, all applications requiring interenet access, would not work.  I tried the simple Weather app.

  So, is this the case?  The bridge will not work with applications to allow them to connect to the Internet?  Or could it just be the particular connection, I had?

  Thank you for your message.  I'm finally hung up with Adobe cat and after about 2 hours, the problem has been resolved.  Part of the problem was a corrupted Microsoft files.

  I've been running VMware for more than 8 years on workstation or server, but I have a last question a few days and I don't seem to be able to solve it.

  Here is some basic information:

  1. Windows 2003 x 64 sp2

  2. I have 4 nic (broadcom and intel)

  3. This server is running for 3 years. Dell 2950 2cpu Quad, 16 GB

  4. started with VMware Server 1.0.0 and am on VMware Server 1.0.10

  5. 5 VM work without problem.

  6. the server was at 6 or 7 months. has decided to update Windows.

  7. I shutdowned all these 5 VMs.

  8. (35 updates) windows update

  9. rebooted with no problems

  10. the host works very well. access to the Internet. everything is good.

  11. Start the vmware console and start one of the virtual machines (windows server 2003)

  12. system starts with the error: "the network device VMnet0 Bridge does not work. the virtual machine will not be able to communicate with the host or other machines on your network. virtual device ethernet0 will start disconnected.

  13. This massage is for all virtual machines.

  14. last thing on virtual machines: all NIC 2 (bridge and customized to VMnet1) running. That's how since 2007.

  what I've done since:

  1. Reinstall VMware 1.0.10

  2. restarted the server host

  3. update of two network cards (2 x broadcom and 2 x intel)

  4. I read on this forum that could be challenged NIC Cluster NIC but I've not grouped NIC

  5. played around with the settings of the host virtual network. removed changed etc... no luck

  6. I hear everywhere that under "automatic gateways" I need to uncheck. This could be the right track but that checkmark is grayed out.

  any pointer would be very appreciated.

  A few days ago my laptop speakers have not worked or stopped working suddenly, although it reinstall the drivers. Last night, I installed a group of updates (not counting the 8.1) to my computer and that seemed to solve the problem of speaker but ever since then it has been freezing. First regardless of the application I have open (google chrome, my antivirus software, whatever it is) suddenly doesn't respond. Then, the entire computer freezes - the clock to stop, I can't click on anything whether or get into the Task Manager but the mouse still moves.   Forgive me, this is my first time on the forum, but I scored my last message as "problem solved" and it turns out, is not.

  CC has been updated a couple of hours ago, and now the bridge will not be open. It randomly opens once, but I don't know which button does work, because I've tried everything I could think of, and the response has been very late in any case. I closed and now can't open, through Photoshop or the cloud creatives pop up. I'm working on a time-sensitive project and really need access to the bridge. Any ideas?

  In fact, there was a problem with the date on the server of the OID. Date on server OID was not a synchronization with the server of the EBS.

  Issue has been resolved-

  -After setting the date and time stamp on OID server.

  -Then rebounded OID and EBS application services.

  If you use Bridge CC, update to the latest version 6.2. Adobe Bridge CC 6.2 version now available! Adobe content corner

  1. Please, do a right-click on the bridge on the desktop icon and select "Run as Administrator".
  2. If this does not help, reset the Bridge preferences and then try it.

  Steps: -.

  Start Adobe Bridge, and immediately press Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS down) until the dialogue box reset settings appears.

  Select all three options - reset preferences, reset Standard Workspaces and all miniature Purge Cache - and then click OK.

  I can't open files camera raw in bridge. I have a cc account. I did a test with an e-mail account other than the one I signed up with. Not sure if that affects anything but it says.something on initial demand of bridges is not active Bridge requires a product calling has been launched at least once. • I can't download Photoshop CC to my PC. It fails to download 43% with request to close Adobe Bridge. However, the bridge is not open. I downloaded LightRoom CC.

  But I was thinking more on this subject and realized it can work as a background utility. I've disabled the startup routine bridge and downloaded Photoshop CC so problem solved.

  In this case, I would say to make sure there is no AV and firewall active that could prevent anything like that and the uninstall and re - install VMware Player again.
