  Sure.   But you won't like the answer.    Erase the drive, load Linux or BSD, and you go.   Or load a VM guest and put nginx there.

  Or load and run nginx in parallel with Apache on port variant - not that it will be useful, unfortunately.

  But to answer your question more directly, OS X is not now and has never really been submitted to these quests.   Various hunks of OS X Server are very related to Apache.   Once you go to need or want to see again or replace parts of OS X Server base, Apache is one of these hunks core - it's probably time to move to a platform that offers better for that.

  Hi Alex,

  Lynn is correct. For the use of the DAQ USB OR with Mac and Linux, the best hardware and the only driver to use is NEITHER-DAQmx Base. The Readme file lists which specific devices are supported, specific Linux and OS X versions are supported and that has hardware is supported.

  You must follow the same doc, just make sure that you install first - CRS refer to the Documentation online database Oracle 11 g Release 2 (11.2) for more details.

• Setting up a virtual host Apache for Sites of the Complutense University of MADRID

  As the subject says: I am trying to configure virtual hosts with apache for the Sites of the Complutense University of MADRID. Now, we are trying to set up for each site of the Complutense University of MADRID, we have an ip address. Done on the browser when I see that someone typed in "http://www.myfirstsite.com" (through the magic of dns that they get routed to my server). Once they are at the level of the Apache Server I want to configure virtual hosts, so I can redirect the user to the appropriate site residing in the Complutense University of MADRID.
  
  Now, it is possible for me to access the sites by this "http://myservername/myfirstsite". But what I want Setup of Apache, is that when someone types in "http://www.myfirstsite.com" they see site whatever, I want them to see in the Complutense University of MADRID. But mann I just don't know what would be the document root or how could I go to get users to SEE what I want them to see. Can someone help me with this please? Thanks in advance.

  You should be able to stick with the default apache configuration where he will answer for any host name and create virtual servers for each instance with the root of the document appropriate for this instance of CS. Then you should be able to use rewrite rules to direct users to the virtual host appropriate depending on what URL they access the server with. See the documentation for Apache mod_rewrite around: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/rewrite/

  Developer 6i is no longer available for download (at least not that I can find: it is not available in the usual places [e-Delivery, OTN, My Oracle Support]). The only way I can think of that you can get the version you need for Red Hat is to contact the Oracle Support and submit a special request to the software or if you know someone who has a copy of the software - ask them to make you a copy.

  I've recently updated my ubuntu to a 64-bit version, but now I can not install the printer driver, because it is 32-bit only.

  Anyone know:

  (1) the question of whether a 64-bit driver is developing

  (2) a work around? I was pulling the PPD for a 32-bit computer, but when using it on my new machine, she complains a 'filter program' which is obviously not installed.

  The problem with the driver provided by Dell Linux is due to two bugs in the packaging, which require command line to resolve. The first is located in the original installation script and has been known for some time. When you run the script, it creates a temporary directory for the installation files, and then generates an error. This is caused by a typo in the file /tmp/config/run.lua in - one instance of 'property' has an extra "h" which should be removed.

  When you try to run the dell-inkjet-09-driver-1.0-1.i386.deb closed, another error appears referring to a fake blank line in the description section of the control of the deb file. This requires unpacking the deb in a new directory, the removal of the original deb, edit the blank line in the control file and recreate the deb. The revised deb will install the printer driver. I used it to install (K) ubuntu 13.10 and 14.04 and Mint 16 and 17, although you will need to open the cups (localhost:631 in a browser) to configure the printer instead of the system settings (the latter seems to offer the backend wrong - CUPS backend configuration select #1).

  The CF7 gui admin works fine and the real web server Homepage make cfm very well.
  When you visit a CF page on one of the virtual servers, I see the source code, and not the rendered page.

  OK, after looking at the server configuration files, here is my solution. Macromedia can expect a bill for $499 for the resolution of this incident. (jk)

  ColdFusionMX 7 with SunONE Web Server 6.1 on RH Linux System ARE 3

  Assuming that you have created virtual servers within the Admin of SunONE interface:

  (1) confirm that the CF pages make correctly on the root server instance.
  1A) check the / Server root Web/config/obj.conf the following:

  PathCheck fn = names index-search-index = 'index.html index.cfm, index.jsp.
  (This was ordered again and I removed home.html)

  and:

  ObjectType fn = type-exp exp = * .cfm type = "jrun-home/ext.
  ObjectType fn = type-exp exp = * .cfml type = "jrun-home/ext.
  ObjectType fn = type-exp exp = * .cfc type = "jrun-home/ext.
  ObjectType fn = type-exp exp = * .cfr type = "jrun-home/ext.
  ObjectType fn = type-exp exp = * .cfswf type = "jrun-home/ext.

  and:

  Chances are, if you have set up virtual hosts under the initial class of the virtual server (vsclass1), the hosts also shows CF pages very well.

  If you have set other virtual server classes, SunONE created a file #. obj.conf vsclass (or whatever you named the class) for those as well, based on a standard model. These new files are not found in the obj.conf file that allow CF pages to work. Either copy the obj.conf file new classname. obj.conf files or change appropriately. All hosts created under the class will now have access to CF after restart of the Web server or dynamic config read (Admin GUI).

  NOTE I have not tested cfforms, who, according to the documentation in Config/Admin Manual, need a symlink or full copy of the CFIDE folder in each virtual host doc file or folder class server doc root. Still, I will reply with my discoveries.

  As always, make backups of work files before editing. These experiences are mine and not tested extensively. If you have corrections or clarification, I salute them! :)

  When I go to the download page for Linux, it has just the 32-bit version. Of course, I'm on Linux 64-bit so I do not want to turn Firefox 32 bit.

  I saw the discussion about the configuration of the failover on of the WLC. I think I have a pretty good understanding of what is supposed to happen here. But what is really clear is the config of base on the 2nd and 3rd in WLC. They need to be configured exactly like the first, with the exception of the unique fields such as host name and ip addresses, interface and such? Usually people take the config of the first and do a "Find and replace" to fix the config for subsequent controllers? I will add 2 more to my controller in the near future and try to have a better understanding of the process until I have to implement. Thank you!

  You are right in the config WLC - unique IP/hostname info and everything else the same. There is usually not a lot of changes of configuration to do on the additional WLC, the few times that I did I have manually configured things or used WCS. Configure additional WLC being part of the same group of mobility and/or hardcode primary, secondary & tertiary controllers AP for failover.
