Configuration of Proxy Server on the OSB to manage SSL

I have a client with a business on the OSB service that connects to an external service outside their network.

This connection must go through the proxy server of the company because it is outside the network. This external service requires 1 - way ssl.

Can someone provide clarification on how the OSB is supposed to interact with a proxy server when business URI is https?

I configured a proxy server on OSB under System Administration > global resources > Proxy servers and together the details of the configuration on my service company to use the proxy server.

I tried to set the ssl on the server proxy to 443 port, but the proxy server rejected the connection on this port.
If I put just the clear text port to 3128, I get an error "socket closed".

The customer seemed confused by the ssl port field. As a general rule, he sends all traffic on port 3128, he says.

We have the certificate of the server that hosts the foreign service in our trust OSB store (but I doubt that the proxy server trusts - if that matters, I don't know).

Does anyone have any experience with what can help out me?

Possible reason could be ssl handshake failure... can you post here the complete trace of ssl handshake.

You can try to use ssltap [http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/tools/ssltap.html], which makes it easier to understand what is happening behind the scenes during the negotiation

  • is there a way (or an app?) to set up a local proxy server on the airport extreme or time capsule?

    Hello

If you have the answer! I'll be so happy!

is there a way (or an app?) to set up a local proxy server on the airport extreme or time capsule?

    Thanks for your time!

    BR,

    Stéphane

All routers, including the AirPort base station, run as a transparent proxies for the local network behind them. However, if you are talking about the possibility of proxy requests between the LAN and Internet, then no, the airport base stations do not have a native function to support doing so.

The two common methods to accomplish this are: 1) use a proxy on your local network, or 2) use a DNS, like OpenDNS service, which offers proxy services.

  • Server of the OSB

    Hello

is there a way that I can have more control on the server of the OSB. for example; can I use the same server admin, rather than create another one (osb_server1).

    Thank you

When creating domain, check required for example models OSB, and we you reach the settings of managed servers remove the managed server OSB. Then you have everything on the administration server only.

We have a problem in my company with the proxy server.

We have an Isa proxy server to restrict some users who access the internet

allow us some users and sites for them to access

but some times it requires authentication for all users who have access also. At that time they keep calling us. so I created a temporary rule to allow all traffic for all users. After awhile, we disable and it is working... but in some cases allow same temp rule also does not work so we say - join the domain and join the domain again...

It seems that these are all temporary, full-time for us of how, it became

  • Could not start the server via the SOA node Manager

    Hi all

I try to install AIA 11.1.1.6.0 on top of the SOA Suite 11.1.1.6.0.

I was able to install the weblogic, UCR, soa and osb servers server correctly. Now, before installing the AIA, the document I am following it says, make sure to start the server soa through the Manager of nodes.

Now I start to the administrator of the server, then the node Manager, to make sure I checked the node Manager is in place, I logged the weblogic console, went to the Machines, and I see that it's upward and accessible.

Now using WLST commands, first of all, I have connected to Manager nodes by using the nmConnect() command, so I try to start the server soa through node Manager with the command start ('soa_server1').

I get an error when you try to start the server with the command nmStart() soa, below is the error message...

«Error at startup server soa_server1: weblogic.nodemanager.NMException: Exception when starting Server «soa_server1»»

I ran the command dumpStack(), and I get the output as 'no trace available battery.

If I am able to start the server soa through the node Manager, I can go ahead and install the pack of AIA, but wrong to let me go forward.

I also tried to boot the server from soa through the weblogic console, go to the servers tab, select the soa_server1 and start, the State of the soa server will "FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE".

I followed some of those blogs like...

    Hi Patricia,

I had exactly the same problem some time ago...

    The cause:
There are two servers trying to run in debug mode and use the same debug port
    -Xrunjdwp: transport = dt_socket, address = 8453, server = y, suspend = n

    Possible solutions:
    1. turn off debugging (this is what I did)
2 use the various debugging ports to different servers (difficult to do because the servers share the same scripts)

    What worked for me was:
    1. in % DOMAIN_HOME%\bin, I created a script called startWebLogic_nodebug.cmd with the following content:
    %CD%\bin\startWebLogic.cmd /nodebug % *.
    2. in nodemanager.properties, I changed the following property
    StartScriptName = startWebLogic_nodebug.cmd

Now my servers start without debugging...

    I hope this helps.

    See you soon,.

  • How to configure a FTP server and the web and integrate with 5.2 DMM

    Hi all...

I need to set up an external server only for publishing content to reduce the overhead of the DMM server.

can someone guide me on how to configure the external server and it intergrate with the DMM 5.2

    Thank you

    semuthu,

    Notes from the Release Notes:

Limitations of compatibility with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)

DMP who use firmware version 5.2 is compatible with a single version of Microsoft Internet Information Server.

This supported version is IIS 6.0 for Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition. If you do not have the support for IIS version but

want your DMP to recover the assets of a Web server, we recommend that you use Apache instead of IIS.

I suggest to use Apache instead of IIS for the Web Server service. IIS can be used as FTP if necessary.

There are a lot of Documents on the Internet concerning the implementation of Apache and FTP servers.

  • Error in the configuration of DNS server via the netsh command

When I configure a local DNS server for my test-domain with the netsh command
netsh interface ip set dns name = "LAN connection" source = static addr = 192.168.1.105
I get a messge for error (translated from German):
The DNS server is wrong or does not exist.

But the local configuration of the DNS server always works perfect afterwards.
The question now is: what netsh like not on my DNS server to produce this error?

I get the same message too and the command works perfectly every time. It's probably a timing issue. I would ignore it.

  • How to configure a proxy server to listen to a jms queue

I have to work the next senario.

    (1) service proxy/business will push the message to a jms queue1

    (2) another proxy will query this message from this queue1.

can any body help how to achieve this.

Expecting an explanation for each of them... : |

Before I explain how to do this, allow me to clarify the purpose of a business service and a proxy service:

-Service business is the representation of Bus Service from a service provider - that is a service that you call the BUS
-A proxy service is exposed to your good service - service of Bus Service that is a service hosted ON the bus

So, to place a message in a queue FOR THE bus (your scenario 1), you will need create a business service (need to be e-mail type and use the common JMS transport). You will also need to create the JMS resource (queue/topic plant and connection yourself, because these will be generally on another computer by the service bus). This service can not be called directly by consumers of services - you will need for it from the front with a service proxy to do this. This proxy service could, if you choose, expose this business using a different message format and/or a different protocol if you wish.

To search for messages in a queue, you need to set a proxy service (also on the type of messaging and the use of the JMS transport). In this case, given that the proxy service is hosted on the Service Bus the JMS resources are created for you (unless of course the queue is remote).

Please post here if you have any other questions.

    Thank you

  • All traffic Vlan to the Interface of the Proxy Server

    Hello!

I need little help to route all the traffic on VLAN to the proxy server.

I have different VLANS on switches L2 200-26 and by 300-28-L3 for routing.

I have already created VLANs and able to rout them, but facing problem for routing traffic to the interface proxy for internet access.

I have different VLAN for example Vlan 10, 10.10.10.0/24 sales, Vlan20 10.10.20.0/24 Marketing. I have trunk between switches interfaces and default 1U is the same on all switches.

My proxy server has two NICs, one is connected to a dsl modem and other one to the switch port that uses the IP 192.168.0.2 to default vlan1.

I am able to surf the internet using vlan1 but not on ther VLAN.

I put the route defaults to the switch of 192.168.0.2, but don't not routing for internet to another VLAN.

    Thank you

    Hello

    To answer your questions:

    1. I have to update the following files?

    https://software.Cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=283019617&release...

Yes, please let me know what firmware and boot code, that you have right now and I'll tell you what is the best way for you to upgrade because you shouldn't go straight to the latest firmware unless you run already 1.3.5.58 or later version.

    2. it supports to 8 dhcp pools. I have swimming pools, but I have more than 8 VLAN. I put all the settings, works very well.

You are right and I forgot to mention the limitation of only 8 DHCP pools, I'm sorry. That being said, make sure that your current DHCP server uses IP addresses assigned to each VLAN on the switch as the gateway by default for the VLAN respective.

3 for the Proxy Server, I need to find a way to point back roads of VLAN to vlan mapping static address on the switch. I'm confused in this little piece.

I understand that this can be confusing, let me see if I can explain it a little better.

Assuming that everything on the switch is configured according to my recommendations can

    1. you need a single, a route by default on the switch, so that when a PC is connected to one of VLAN on she tries to go online, an unknown IP address to the switch, it will send it to the Ip address of the router, because the proxy server will be able to reach this IP public, unknown to any Web site.

2 - when the traffic is back to this Web site, it will be intended for another subnet that the proxy server is on. Suppose the answer is looking for 10.10.10.100 (subnet unknown to the proxy server), without a static route on the proxy server it say where to send this traffic, packets are simply deleted.

    3. you need to create as many static routes on the proxy server as the amount of VIRTUAL LANs, you have on your network.

For now I know that the proxy server is 192.168.0.2 on VLAN 1 but I don't know what the IP address of the switch is on the same VLAN, it should be something on the 192.168.0.x range.

All journeys should look like this:

10.10.10.1 255.255.255.0 send 192.168.0.x (IP address of the switch on the VLAN 1)

10.10.20.1 255.255.255.0 send 192.168.0.x (IP address of the switch on the VLAN 1)

Alternatively, if all your internal VIRTUAL local networks are on the beach of 10.10.x.x then you should be able to create a single rule to summarize all the VLAN as this:

10.10.1.1 255.255.0.0 send 192.168.0.x (IP address of the switch on the VLAN 1)

Please let me know if it was a little clearer.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Google does this. It uses the IP address you connect since to determine where you are. According to the Google service you are trying to fix it, you must contact them to correct.

  • Help! I NEED A PROXY SERVER ADDRESS...

RECENTLY, I'VE RESTORED MY LAPTOP. NOW MY INTERNET CONNECTION IS VERY SLOW. I NEED A PROXY SERVER ADDRESS. WHERE CAN I GET OR FIND A?

It is not a matter of getting a proxy server address, it "s a question to configure a proxy server that is not a simple process and usually doesn't do much to increase the speed of the connection (although it improves it little to visit repeat sites).  During installation, an address is created or provided if you follow this path, but I really don't think it will solve the problem with the connection speed, even if it helps a little.  The proxy server must be installed on your own network.

Here is some general information about Proxy Server: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-is-a-proxy-server. Note that it says it uses a computer other than the proxy server and that it is for commercial environments and not usually for home networks.
