I don't think it's possible for anyone outside of OR. LabVIEW Real-time supports this time only Windows as host and as a target only material of National Instruments with specifically targeted OSes or the Pharlap ETS system on x 86 systems with hardware specific enough. Using RTAI as target OS for LabVIEW Real-time applications requires first a few changes on the time plugin real LabVIEW to support this new platform.

None of the files in time real LabVIEW also created for either platforms OR running VxWorks or OS Pharlap, Pharlap ETS system woud be able to be deployed to a system RTAI, because they are not compatible. In the first place, you'd have to port the bunch of shared libraries that make up the time target real system running LabVIEW on one of these goals to your RTAI system which is in fact a whole new platform of LabVIEW you can create with a little effort from the LabVIEW source code. It's not really impossible for OR as most of the code LabVIEW is written platform completely independently, but it would be a combination of the parameters compilation for course LabVIEW Real-time, with the settings to produce time targets real LabVIEW VxWorks with some additional settings of Linux. Yet, it would be by far not trivial and some parts are actually hardware specific drivers that must be worn too and limit the possibilities of what RTAI material could serve even further. In short not something that would make any commercial sense NC because they invest a lot of resources with no opportunity to sell additional hardware.

And hell freezes over up front release of NI LabVIEW source code in any form which gives access not - OR used to it!

  • Configuration required to use the fingerprint reader

I have a dv6tQE delivered later this week and I'm looking into how to configure the fingerprint reader.  I'm interested the FR for projecting my fingerprint with the plethora of passwords that I now keep in a Word document hyperlink.  Too much memorize.  I'm not interested in the security feature that requires a logon or a fingerprint whenever I start my computer.  I usually push on the button and then perform several tasks to something else and come back to the computer, wait until it is ready to roll without the need for an additional activity on my part.

The User Guide PDF downloaded States in part:

"In order to use the fingerprint reader, you must configure a user account with a password on the computer. This account allows you to log on to your computer with a simple touch of the designated finger. Alternatively, you can use the fingerprint reader to fill in the password on Web sites and other programs that require a login. See using the fingerprint software for instructions. After you have created your identity from fingerprints, you can configure single sign-on... »

It will be necessary for me to set up a user account for my login or can I skip that part and use the NOF for passwords only?  In addition, there is a link to the FR software guide?

  • Problem using USB-6356 on target in real time

I try to use the NI USB-6356 on a SBC I converted to a target for LabVIEW RT. I created a LabVIEW RT project with the Architecture of Communication continuous model. However, when I select target RT > New > NOR-DAQmx channel, the wizard says "no device found support.

Here's what I've done so far:

    1. Installed Support in real time on the host computer.
    2. Installed OR-DAQmx 15.5.1 on RT target (it is visible when I develop the 'software' under the lens of RT in MAX). See Fig1.png and Fig2.png.
    3. Verified that the NI USB-6356 appears in max under target RT > devices and Interfaces. See Fig3.png.

Even if the NI USB-6356 appears in MAX, it seems suspicious that it appears as a USB device generic (like the keyboard and mouse that are connected to the target RT). Maybe it appears that way because it is connected to a goal of RT, but it seems that it is not recognized as a DAQmx device. I don't know how get the target RT to recognize as a device DAQmx, given that the appropriate drivers, etc are installed on the computer host and target RT.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the devices USB DAQ (other than the USB cDAQs) are not supported on PharLap targets at the moment. The documentation could certainly be clearer, so I'll update soon to reduce the confusion on this topic.  This white paper, last updated in 2014 is clearer than we currently have.  It is also explained in this KBQ5, but the wording is certainly a little bit clear here.

I'm not sure of any other solution that exchanging your 6356 for cDAQ USB system, or the displacement of a BONE no - RT.

  • Cannot run Simulink DLLs at the same time that the execution of the target time real VI

    Hello

What I try to do is run a dll created in the Simulink model to control some servo through a CompactRio 9014.

For the moment, I managed to create three screws

    (1) in the FPGA target that performs the PWM channel desired

    (2) which takes the value of a variable that contains the desired position and network that feeds to the 1st VI

    (3) a VI that is running on the host computer that changes the value of the network variable to change the position

I can get these three work screw and the servo controlled, but when I try to update the value of the network variable using simulation, by deploying to the target of RT simulation and running, he said:

' Access denied: this objective is already used by another host or project. »

I guess that's because the project is already connected the cRio, so I unplug and am able to deploy the model files.

However, when I try to run one of the screws in the Targer RT as well as simulation I get the error:

"This VI is downloaded to the target, but is not present in the project you are trying to deploy.  All the screws on the target will be closed unless you choose to add the missing project VI. »

With a large number of missing screws...

I'd do this wrong, i.e. is there a simpler way to control inputs FPGA using the simulation, or is there something I have missed?

    Thank you

    Geoff

    Hi Geoff,

I think I understand what you're trying to do and what you've done so far.

If I'm not mistaken you have passed through the SIT connection manager, set your target RT (select DLL, mappings and hardware i/o) and this is his 'magic '.   If this is the case of look for the project pilot LabVIEW which was created by the SIT connection manager.  This should live in the same folder where is your DLL.  Open the pilot project, search for VI driver and open it.  Then go into the Sub - VI # 5 has with the name of the loop rate Base.  It's the Subvi who reads/writes on the material and the reads/writes the data to the DLL/OUT model.  If you want to read the output of your model and then manipulate the data that is where you need to add your code.

Inside of this Base rate loop VI there is a Subvi with number 4 and called SIT take model Timestep.  This VI is the one who makes the call to the DLL model.  The output of this VI is your data from the model.  This data goes into slot - VI # 5, which is responsible for the drafting of these data to the material.  Since you want to manipulate that data from the model, you need to recover data from the wire coming from the Subvi 4 (SIT take model Timestep) before it gets to the Subvi # 5.

In this VI of Base rate loop, you will see that there are a few empty block structures.  These images are for you to put any code you want.  The reason is that any changes you make to the driver VI and subVIs that aren't inside of these frame structure will be lost if you decide to go in the connection manager to sit DOWN again and make some changes.  The VI pilot gets new script whenever you do something in the SIT connection manager.  Whatever it is inside these frames will not be erased.

So, if you have a code you want to run in parallel to the simulation you just have to drop it inside this driver VI.  Very probably within this Subvi 5 (Base rate loop). To add your code just drop the VI in one of these settings and make any changes that him so that he can read the data in the model.    Furthermore, the model (Subvi 5) data in a table.  For the index of each element in the array and its meaning look for a file in the same folder where the DLL is named readme.txt ports.  This file has a description of the inports and small ports and their indexes.

This VI driver is called when run you the host VI so you won't have to run sepearately.

    Kind regards

  • Problems using panels of remote façade with LabVIEW 8.6

    Hi all

I have an executable in time real LabVIEW I have deployed and running on a PSC-2220, and now I want to access the façade of this executable from a local computer connected to it.  I'm doing it by running a VI on the local computer that uses the "RP. Open the connection to the server"VI.  I used a similar setup with a PSC and LabVIEW 8.5 and it worked very well.  I went through a lot of documentation on the site OR on the way to implement and did all the usual things:

I have the VI in a project deployed on the CFP.

I activated the web server and VI server on the target.

I am passing the correct name of VI, IP address and the port at RP. Open connection to the server

I can see that RT executable runs on the CFP, when I deploy it.  My problem occurs when I make the call to RP. Connection to Open the VI server executes the call, but the façade of the executable of RT on the CFP never opens, and I never an error of appellant VI (I have a PR of VI to a dialogue and an indicator error and I get nothing).  He calls the VI of PR, but then wait indefinitely and never opens the front of the executable RT.  This same problem occurs when I try to do the remote façade using web publishing tool, or when I use the option "Connect to remote front panel" in LabVIEW.

Has anyone ever seen this before, or know of anything I could hurt?  Is this a problem with 8.6?

    Thank you.

    Hello

You use FieldPoint 6.0.2?  We have a report of Corrective Action (#125870) for the remote front panels for the cFP-2220 with LabVIEW 8.6 and FieldPoint 6.0.2.  R & D is currently working on a fix, until then, the only known workaround is to use LabVIEW 8.5.1.

For the most part, you just need to remove all the package and the references of public/private.

  • How to configure webgate to use the form on different server login page?

Hi all, I would really appreciate help with this please.

OAM performs the authentication of the forms on IIS 6. Connection work well on my primary host.

I now need to protect another IIS instance on a different server and have installed a web portal on this topic.

How can I configure it to use the same login for this webgate form? Form: parameter must be relative not sure if this is possible.

So, I copied the original form of the connection in the same relative position on the new server and tried, but concluded that the MESSAGE to the target/access/dummy is now is more caught by the webgate and so I get a 404, rather than a redirect to my page.

    Thank you very much

    Bernie

    Hi Bernie,

The challenge parameter redirect in the authentication scheme is used for this. Put the server in this area (for example https://myauthserver.domain.com) and have the form: parameter against that server (for example, /public/loginform.html).

Either way, on IIS you would put the action of the form to the webgate, for example /access/oblix/apps/webgate/bin/webgate.dll

    Kind regards

By default, you can not in Firefox.

But you can use an add-on like FoxyProxy Standard, I think he understands the functionality you need.

It will also depend on the model of your MacMini, info provided you no, only the most recent models can use this type of adapter.

  • Re-use of dynamically called code of target in real-time on PC

I have a code that is deployed on a target in real time what I call dynamically. I also want to use the same code dynamically on a PC in the same project.

This works very well when you run interpreted code in form. However, I can't add the dynamic called VI to build on my PC specification if the VI is under the aim of RT in the project. I can only include it in the build specification that is in conjunction with the software to the target of the RT.

How can I use this VI dynamically in the ad for the construction specifications and places without having two copies of it?

I actually found a way using a static reference of vi:

Rather than providing a path to the file of the 'open' vi reference, simply load the VI statically and I then enter its name to open an instance, re-entering. This approach has the advantage of process Dynamics called VI as if it was dropped on the block diagram - I don't have to explicitly include the vi file in the build specification.

    Hi B_Tan,

Please take a look at the following information previously published by TaurArian:

Some have reported that simply re-register the MSXML3. DLL seems to fix the problem.
    1. click on start.
    2. choose Execute.
    3. in the run box, type: regsvr32 MSXML3. DLL
    Press OK

If this did not help, you may be re-recorded some files more:

    1. click on start.
    2. choose Execute.
    3. in the run box, type (pressing well after each one): -.

    net stop wuauserv

    Repeat the following:
    regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\wuapi.dll
    regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\wups.dll

    Help.

Hi Dena. Thanks for check up.

My machine now works. Here's what happened between my last post and the MS update feature works once more.

I answered my own question about the SubInACL is allowed file to use on my machine. Googling it I found that it is a 'security descriptor and Editing Migration command-line tool' and that it would work on my XP Home edition. So I have done no harm. But he didn't explain why the machine does not respond to a stop command.

So, with no harm done and an available restore point, I thought that I would see what the SubInACL program since the drive light was working but no message readable in detail until it was over.

Googling the first line (echo off) in the batch file led me to a MS page that explains the function of command to echo. If I wanted to see out all I had to do was remove the echo off line. So I used Notepad to remove the line and saved the file. Re-run the bat file then produces a flow of lines in the cmd window - moving too fast to read. I got what I asked for but don't want that I really needed.

Google "screen xp file output. The second Google result was a link to www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation , which explains how to redirect the output of a command file into a text file. So I followed the example and added a ">" and a unique filename at the end of each line. Worked like a charm. Weres big, very big files. All order lines have reported no failure except HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet which had modified 204160 entries and lines 901 has failed. Looking at a small sample of these faulty items, that they seem to belong to my McAfee AV, so I expect them to be special.

A reboot of the machine successfully. Still didn't update.

I ran the MicrosoftFixit program with no error reported.

Rebooted and found the update feature works again. Cross my fingers batch of this next month of MS updates does not return this ghost.

Hope someone can benefit from my experiences.

  • Error message: the files required to use Microsoft Update are longer registered or installed on your computer.

As I never had problems with Microsoft Updates in the 3 years that I've owned this computer, I am confused now what has happenned.

My laptop has a valid copy of Windows XP Professional and has always already been updated successfully, both manually by using the web page for the custom updates and so automatically.

Can someone please shed some light on the question and how to fix it?  I obviously don't want to need to format this computer.

I still regularly ran my anti-virus (N360 which is always updated) software and windows defender.  I have also always used Spybot S & D.  None of the mentioned software found no major problems, as I expect, because they are supposed to prevent intrusions. I also run the current Microsoft malicious software removal tool as an extra precaution.

    My problem is:

After you perform a system restore to an earlier date on my laptop, I wanted to check windows update to make sure that all my security updates are in and up to date.  I opened the page to update as normal, then I accept the license agreement and I continued to the next screen.  Normally, I don't have to do this, he usually directly goes to the page.

Then, I got this error message:

The files required to use Microsoft Update are longer registered or installed on your computer.

It is possible for me to choose
"register or reinstall the files now (recommended)".
However when I try this option I'm headed to the next web page where I get another error message:
