Do not see the logs of bad thing. If this is the treatment is there a way I can get the status.

  • WU is blocked during installation of updates - but does not freeze

    Hello

I recently installed Windows 7 Professional on my new PC. It worked well; After that, I installed mainboard and video drivers and then some games.

Then I noticed that I was not activated Windows Update during installation, so I started the update manually. Download worked, but the installer is stuck to the update 10/59. I then tried to cancel the update (the "Cancel" button was clickable, then the program do not freeze) but nothing happened. So I rebooted the computer...

I tried to update again, but WU is now stuck at 8/59. I don't know what to do; There is no error message or anything. The only way to cancel the update is by restarting the PC.

FYI: I waited like 2 or 3 hours, but WU did not progress.

Thank you very much for the help!

  • C309g fatal error during installation

Used the last full installation for C309g AIO. Under XP SP3. Wireless installation. Installation froze near the end to "product Configuration".

After about 30 minutes, it is reported in a window titled: "C:\Documents and Settings\ (my username) \Local Settings\Temp\7zS5BFB\hpzsetup.exe"-«Fatal error during installation»

Then place a file on my desktop that was supposed to fix the problem. But it wasn't only for installation of USB.

Before that, the printer has been detected. The network is OK. Print 'Wireless Network Test report' shows all pass and no problems found. I can print and scan from another laptop on this wireless network.

I totally uninstalled all HP software using Panel of control-add/remove, then reinstalled several times.

This c309g worked at one point.  Also had a C4780 AIO as an old scanner flat 4570c on this network.

I'm heading for Kodak, Lexmark or Brother.

Click on the link below to find out how I completely uninstalled all HP "stuff" before you try to reinstall the full package all-in-one.

He said do not to use the uninstall file - L4.bat, but I use it after the other 3.

Before doing anything, I used "Revo Uninstaller" (free), instead of add remove, uninstall anything with HP or Hewlett-Packard in the title.

Takes some time that whenever may require a reboot.

I have not found all the HP files that are listed in the article, or in "services.msc".

"Uninstall-L1..." 2, ... 3 and... 4 also require restart when everyone is finished.

When does all this uninstall must start > run, type %temp%. Select all and remove the mess.

Now, you can run the installation package.

My c309g is now operational in printing and scanning. Also the Solution Center is back.

    Good luck

  • Whenever I turn on my computer I get a box that pops up and say "Update: there is an error during installation." Please reinstall the application.

Whenever I turn on my computer I get a box that pops up and say "Update: there is an error during installation." Please reinstall the application"How can I do this?

Original title: when I turn on my computer

You should consider carefully as pop - up and determine what application has a problem.

If he has no idea anywhere in the pop - up, first physically disconnect your computer from the Internet (because in the following steps, you will temporarily disable your antivirus software).

    • Click Start and type "msconfig.exe" (without the quotes) in the search box and press ENTER.
    • When the "System Configuration" window opens, select the tab "start".
    • Uncheck the half of the listed items (for your convenience, click on "Startup Item" in the column header to sort the items alphabetically)
    • Click OK and restart (click here to avoid the warning that you are in a diagnostic mode)

If the pop-up warning does NOT appear, the problem application has been one of the items you unchecked.  If this is the case, reopen the System Configuration and check again half of the elements that had checked you.

Similarly, if the pop-up warning appears, then the application problem is that remained turned on. In this case, open the Configuration of the system, again check the items that you had disabled, then uncheck half of the remaining items.

    • Restart and continue the process until you have identified the problem application.
    • Once you have identified the problem application, open System Configuration once more, select "Normal startup" on the "Général" tab and restart.
    • Do not forget to reconnect your computer to the Internet
    • Uninstall or reinstall the application issue.
  • How to create a shortcut for all users during installation

    Hi people,

We have a desktop application that is distributed with Java Webstart and works on Win7 machines. Initially, users all connected using a connection by default, so creating shortcuts was not a problem. Now, because of new networking strategies, each user has his own connection.

The problem is that the shortcut to the application is created in the user profile (for example "C:\Users\JohnDoe\", so that other users in the same machine can not run the application unless he or she installs the application again.)

Is there a way to create this shortcut for all users using JNLP API or configuration in the xml file?

If anyone has need of the solution: during installation I save the jnlp file in a directory accessible to all the world and then start the application using "javaws path\to\file.jnlp". Thanks in advance.

Default PowerShell restricted running unsigned scripts. To allow them to perform, you must set the ExecutionPolicy setting properly. Depending on your system configuration, you may need to do that with PowerCLI start with "Run as Administrator" see set signature Remote Support properties

  • Satellite U500 - 10L fails during installation

    Hello

I bought new Toshiba Satellite U500 - 10L last night, he breaks down during installation of finishing!
I return to the agent. They replace it me again one & having the same problem.

It seems that system recovery image is not made properly. Or maybe the hardware problem.

A face same problem before. More information this cams model with two option 32 & 64 windows and both return same problem.

Is it possible to download the complete recovery image or is there any why to fix.

    Need help.

    Kind regards

    Hello solar

Can you please tell us what is happening exactly?
I don't think there is a problem with the hardware.
I don't know where you live but visit the nearest Toshiba service if possible and they will install for you and order the new recovery if necessary.
I'm 100% sure that all this will be done free of charge.

U500 is also mobile friendly. I like it a lot, but it is unfortunately too small for me

  • Tecra R10 - 10W - cannot create partition during installation

Tecra R10 - 10W I and I went from Vista to XP. I used the Windows XP Toshiba Recovery for this disk.
I was not able to create the partition on the hard disk during installation.
    I wonder I missed something?

How to cut my hard drive into 2 parts? Should I re - install XP for it?
    Please help me?

    Thank you

    Alper

    Hello!

As Akuma writes it of not possible to create or modify partitions of HARD drive during the installation of recovery Toshiba.
The Toshiba Recovery disk contains an image of the factory settings, and after that you can change the size of the partition yourself.

I also use Partition Magic and it works really well. If you n t have this tool, you can Google for a freeware tool. ;)

    Good bye

  • Satellite 100-787: pilot controls - language truncated during installation

Although I downloaded the English version of the driver controls, I had a language truncated during installation. It seems to have installed fine because the game before buttons work well with Media Player but I can't handle his options since the language is incomprehensible.

Currently, it controls only MediaPlayer but it seems to me there is a way to include the other player. Volume wheel shows nothing on the screen display. How to solve this problem of language interface and how to include other players in controls and volume wheel?
