I bought the extended warranty on Monday, but have not received an email confirmation from Toshiba. My existing 1 year warranty expires Sunday so need to get to this quick sort. Does anyone know an email address I can send to?

    I have the question about the warranty. Yesterday bought my laptop :) and told me to save my warranty on the Web from Toshiba site, so I did, but there were a few problems, in fact, they cease to exist.

    I wanted to take advantage of the free warranty extension and the standard warranty (save). I wrote the serial No. my laptop and other things they ask on (mainly contact information), and then I had to write the number of the guarantee agreement. I don't know what this number is :(

  • X201purchased - question about 3 years warranty extension

    Ordered a 201 X about three weeks through Lenovo online as well as a base for 3 years warranty extension. Have had the laptop for two weeks, no problems so far.

    When I checked my status of the guarantee on the website, it is only showing the standard 1 year warrantly, for example. my warranty ends on Sept-2011.

    Obviously, I'm going to need to call customer service to get the problem fixed, but my question is, is the 3-year warranty extension I bought 3 additional years of coverage added to 1 year warranty by default, for example. my warranty would end on seven-2014 or is the extended warranty only for a total of 3 years, which means that the coverage would end the seven-2013?

    I bought L635-127 December 30,2010 and bought with it an extended international warranty from 1 to 3 years (for notebooks with one year standard warranty).
    I registered my cell phone on Jan 2,2011 and received a free upgrade of EMEA warranty to 2 years. Then on January 26,2011, I registered the extended international warranty (1 to 3 years). I received an email showing the agreement no & spare not Toshiba but only the free warranty upgrade from 1 to 2 years is mentioned in this topic. Nowhere it is mentioned that the guarantee is valid from 1 to 3 years. Get the warranty coverage 3 years on the production of the document of understanding to the after-sales service?

    I doubt that the extended warranty from 1 to 3 years was not valid for the model L635-127 as he already had a free upgrade to 2 years. So why the authorized Toshiba dealer gave me this product on my application if they knew that it is not compatible?

    I tried to register my laptop just purchased Toshiba R500. I could not complete the registration process, because the page Web said there is too much time elapsed between the date of manufacture (20080721) and buy time (20100818).     My 3 years warranty toshiba comes to an end in March of this year (I had extended from 1 to 3 years).

    I called toshiba today to see if I could buy an another 1 or 2 years, but he said 'Sorry' but no. It seems that 3 years is the maximum that they will go. I was a little disappointed, but the half he expected because of the age of the laptop.

    Overall, my X 500-116 has played very well in the last 3 years and I had no major problems.

    Guess I'll have to fingers and hope everything continues to work very well.

    I believe that this is part of the Toshiba Tempro service, go to the screen of the app by clicking on start, in apps listed for Toshiba Tempro, open it and go to the State guarantee, then click Update.

  • Satellite L300-19 f - How can I change the warranty registration information?

    I live in Romania and I bought my Toshiba L300-19 septies of the Romania on February 9.

    I recorded my Standard warranty during the installation of Windows. When you try to save the international warranty Extension also, I noticed that there are problems during registration.

    1. I received a ticket for registration by e-mail. If I click on the link in this email for the registration of the extended warranty, I am redirected to the site of Toshiba UK, instead of a Romanian. The real problem is not the language, but the fact that the model of laptop I have is produced exclusively for the Romania, is not available for selection in the menu drop-down available on the website of the United Kingdom.

    Stand by. What you want to do exactly? AFAIK for laptop for registration and warranty extension are two different steps.

    When I bought my Satellite P300 after the first start, I connected to the internet and registered according to the procedure of registration available on the laptop itself. After having done that, I received email confirmation from Toshiba.

    Some Toshiba laptops even come with a free warranty updated by registration. In this case, you will receive a brochure supplied with your laptop. In order to activate the upgrade, you must save the free upgrade under the Standard warranty on www.toshiba-europe.com/registration
