Confused about Windows 7 and vRanger connection

I pulled my PC of laboratory for testing of vRanger connection, but the client could never connect to the service. He has worked the last time I got it running. I checked and the services were running. Version = 7.0.2. Thinking that something went south with my lab pc I got a laptop with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and 6 GB of RAM. I installed the same version of vRanger connection and after a qualified installation, I found myself with the same exact error - could not connect to the service. Then I read about vRanger connection plug and see that Windows 7 is not listed as an OS supported to install more. Is this correct? Should we use a server operating system to run vRanger connection?

First thing to check when you see a glorious "Could not connect to service", is to go to the Windows - Application and Services - vRanger connection newspaper Service event viewer and retrieve the last error. There could be a clue.

Talk about your case, I guess that's a "feature", we met at Ranger 7.x.

You MUST be logged in under the account that you use for care to ensure that the installation or upgrade was successful.

If it was a facility clean, better delete everything, including SQL instance. Program directory Files\Dell\vRanger recheck if the files are actually deleted. You need to maybe restart the server and go through Control Panel once again to uninstall.

Then log in to the zone with officials of department store and run executable.

Another thing I noticed during the upgrade is if Ranger DB is attached to an instance of SQL 2005 'foreign', usually BackupExec. Logic of ranger fails completely and install utility keeps SQL Express 2005 (impossible to create a new instance), which does not work with Ranger 7.x.

But it is a different story.

    It is an unusual problem and confusion between Windows 7 and Dropbox. Here are the main elements of the problem.

    Support for the Nikon D750 was introduced in the last version of LR 5.7 and ACR 8.7 Novemder 18 2014.

    New updates for LR 4 were arrested when LR 5 was released on June 9, 2013. No other updates of bug fixes and new camera support.

    Nada, LR 4 will never support Nikon D750. The Nikon D750 was introduced on the market in September 2014 some 15 months after further development of LR 4 was arrested.

    You can use the Adobe DNG (free download for packing) program to convert your Nikon D750 Nef (raw) files in Adobe's DNG format which will allow you to import those into LR 4. This is the crutch provided by Adobe to allow the processing of raw files with versions out-of-date LR and ACR.

    You can also update the ACR for PS CS6 version 8.7 plugin that can also work with the raw files of the D750. For direct support in Lightroom, you will need to upgrade (paying) to version 5.7.

  • Question about windows theme and display of Web pages

    I have everything, I'm new here, I've had my laptop for about 8 months, but it was stored for the 6 months, so he had only 3 months of use, and that was 99% for watching movies as was my laptop backup (my girlfriends, which was never used)...
    Well I just got my laptop storage and started using it again as I want now to do that my main work computer, it's a Satellite A100 Series. Running Win XP Pro SP2. Well, now I used it for about 1 week now and this is a fantastic computer, expecially the swipe away feature, I'm usually one XP Home Edition, but I do with Pro, just did not have any experience with it...

    Now, here's the problem, and this has always been the problem since bought, when we first bought it and connected to the internet with IE7 fonts have been massive, I figured out how to fix this in the display after a few hours to play settings and also noticed Web pages if there is a background image, it does not appear... (I also found this week is the same for any application on the PC that uses a Web page as Set up, or something, just sectain things... as I open the Security Center in the control panel and everything is white, and background images aren't there (which is white) and even corners which are background pictures are not displayed and comparing to) my other computer, there should be a green and red, background color etc.
    With Windows Media Player buttons should be as purple and black in WMP11, and they like a white background style html on buttons with links to them at the top and playback, stop, etc buttons have a back outside and the inside is white...

    Basically what I'm saying, is that she appears not CSS style WC3 content on some pages and applications on the laptop, and with regard to Web pages that they are exactly the same, I tried IE7, FireFox, front Browser, and still, the only one that displays pages almost as it should is Opera 9.2, but I really need to solve this problem... it is something simple to do with display obioussly , or settings, but I have tried literally every single different way of doing things last week, tried everything in the Control Panel, all toools Toshiba and no results.

    I'm not a beginner, or whatever it is, I can't get this problem, I can't even think of a setting that would do this let alone in trying to resolve this... I have all the Windows updates (although as I said, he did this from the first day of purchase)...

    If I could post a screenhot here I could show you... what Web pages look like in IE7 and FireFox and before (the only difference is Internet Explorer pages is mostly gray and firefox is white, gray is also.)

    Another question, when I was messing with the settings in the Control Panel, under Performace I changed it to something like 'make optimal display for performace' rather than 'Best to display' and it is then my control panel simple with a white background, and everything is not how I'm used, even the categories are made for each section , they are just all grouped together here, and my house Windows on my other laptop is positioned like this, but it at least has a sidebar on the left with a button to change it back...
    now I am at a loss to find the Performace button, as it is there is more, and I want to change it to 'show better for display' not the persomance... so if someone knows how to do this, please let me know... I took a screenshot of my control panel... and it's not naked, I use the Zune Windows (the black buttons and backgrounds theme ), so he used to be a gray background with a status bar on the side with all the links and details dark just like folders etc...     Very impressive display! I can see after 4 days, nobody wrote anything to give you the solution for your problem. I read your announcement with a lot of attention and I have to say that it was not easy to figure out your problem exactly (perhaps because English is not my native language).

    I know very well that new OS install is radical and last solution but I recommend you to check some forums Microsoft WXP because issue described is, in my opinion, more for OS forums for Toshiba forum.

  • confused about downloading messages and synchronization

    I'm new to TB - in the past, I always used a simple web interface. My server is on a server (Dreamhost) IMAP

    I read "Options of Configuration for Messages to download" page, but either do not understand or it does not give enough detail.

    I want to download all my messages stored on my server for my laptop, not only the headers. I want to retain the existing configuration of file I have on my server. I don't want TB never remove any message unless I tell it to do, preferably with confirmation.

    My goal is to download all my currently stored electronic records, and then once I know that they are safe on my hard drive I'll selectively delete them from the server.

    I do not understand how TB do this. It seems it only downloads the headers, and I don't see how to download the entire message. In addition, I don't want to quite what I think considers synchronization - if I delete a message on the server I don't want necessarily TB to remove this message locally. Otherwise, how could I check my messages locally?

    in other words, I want that all my messages stored locally, and only some of them left on the server.

    For example, I put three emails in a folder on my server. I left who
    connection, then call Icedove on my laptop. If I click on this file, it
    then retrieves and displays these three emails (or only the headers?).

    If I leave Icedove in my web based e-mail and delete these
    three emails from the server, I would expect these three emails to stay on my
    local computer. Yet when I invoke Icedove once again, he sees three emails are
    disappeared from the server and subsequently removed from the display.

    So, this means that the messages were never really recovered
    locally? Or Icedove Deletes local copies to synchronize
    with the server?

    Here are the settings I use:

    under "Copies & folders"-> archives message keep in: "archive folder".
    "On": local folders.

    under 'Synchronization & Storage'-> 'Message synchronization'-> keep
    messages for this account on this machine. I have all the files audited
    under "Advanced".

    under "Disk space"-> synchronize all messages regardless of age. And
    'Do not delete all messages '. It does not give me an option to not use
    synchronization.

    Your info really helped. This is what worked for me:

    Right-click local folders, and then create local folders to match those on the server.

    All folder to online server, select, ctrl + A to select all of the messages, right-click for the drop-down menu "copy", then copy them in desired local folder.

    Once I did, I also went through the selected server files, ctrl + A to select all, then click on "Archive", which offers the mail on the server in the Archive, sorted by date of the year. It was scary at first because I didn't know they would not display until after Icedove has restarted! United Nations-Linux very like, but I think not uncommon in the world of Windows.

    So I found myself with two copies of most of my mail - in a local folder and the other in the Archives. What is good for a few MB of messages I have.

    I will mark this as resolved issue.

    What you mean with Netgear wireless account exactly? Do you mean the router Netgear WLAN?

    Normally, you can connect to each WLAN router. It makes no difference which manufacturing, you have the router but factory settings are different, this means that some routers have DHCP and static IP addresses, for example. I think you should check the TCP/IP configuration and update the WLAN driver.

  • I have a laptop Windows XP and win7, connected via a wireless router.

    I have a portable desktop and win7 winXP connected via a wireless router.  Can see the XP machine with the file full access Win 7 but not vice versa.  On XP, clicking on C: of the laptop gives error "C: is not accessible. You have no permissions... "How can I fix it?  As far as I can tell all together relevant upward is correct on Win7.  No password have been set.

    Maybe this can help.

    Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.

    Homegroup = only works between Win 7 computers. This type of configuration, it is very easy to entry level users to start sharing network.

    Network of home or work = fundamentally similar (and better) to the previous Working Group sharing methods which allow you to control what, how and to whom the records would be shared with.

    Public share
    = network Public (as Internet Café) in order to reduce security risks.

    To get best results connect to each computer system screen and set all the computers to be on a bearing the same name of Working Group , while each computer has its own unique name.

    Make sure that the software firewall, AV, or other security components allow free local traffic on all network computers.     I use my Intel client to manage my wireless network connection in Windows XP Pro SP3. (I need to use the Intel client because it supports protocols wireless not supported by the Windows client).

    I would like to remove the icon from the system tray/notification area Windows wireless network connection and cannot find a way to do it.

    I opened the network connections, right click and choose 'properties' and in the general tab at the bottom there are two check boxes "Show icon in notification area when connected" and "notify me when this connection is limited or not connectivity ' which I disabled (I did it for my local network also), but the icons still appear in the status bar when it is disconnected.

    Any suggestions?

    I found a registry change that removes the icon in the systray.  One needs only to remove these keys (save the first):

    OK, so I have problems with my computer (model Emachine) and ended up having to reinstall windows vista. Windows works fine, even if I can't connect to the internet, because it does not recognize my modem, or my modem is suddenly not there. I am also running switched.
