    Hello Ann,.

If you allowed them access to your PC, then it is a problem. I considered reinstalling my OS and change all my passwords. It would also make sense, if you use the online banking etc., to inform your bank that you have a security hole on your PC. This will alert them to anyone using your current password to the Bank etc.

  • BlackBerry smartphones is there a way I can download my text messages received to my computer

I have a BB 8830 World Edition.  They is some way I can download my text messages received to my computer.  If so, how?  Thank you

To backup/store your messages using the Blackberry Desktop Manager software.

    1. Connect your device to the computer.
    2. Run the Blackberry Desktop Manager
    3. Select the "Backup and restore" icon on the application window
    4. Click on the "Advanced" button and select the information that must be kept.

When the backup is complete - there is a file *.ipd on your computer created. It contains all the necessary information.

Later you can write information from this file on the device blackberry with the same mechanism.

At the moment there is no such standard application to read messages stored on computer PC.

Try to find third-party applications for it.

  • Windows XP Office cannot receive all the files from my Windows 7 laptop.

I have a desktop running WMP 11 on XP and a laptop computer under WMP 12 on Windows 7. Both are connected to the desktop computer even router-, mobile - wireless ethernet.
Problem is my laptop can receive files that are shared in my office... but my office cannot receive all the files from my laptop, all two media sharing enabled and have all two disabled firewall.

BTW, I've noticed that my office does not appear on my local network or all networks under "media streaming options" on my laptop...

original title: the windows media player 12 does not share with WMP 11 (completely)

    Hello

1 have had modifications made to your computer before the problem occurred?

    2. did you install or uninstall all the programs on your computer until the problem occurred?

    3. do you get an error message or error code when you access or file sharing on the network?

    4. what security (Antivirus & Firewall) program is installed on your computer?

    5. were you able to access shared files and folders on your laptop from your desktop earlier?

I suggest you to follow a few troubleshooting steps and check if that help in the issue of the attachment on your computer.

    Method:

Sharing files in Windows 7 and XP

Sharing folders between two Windows 7 machines with the new homegroup feature is an easy process, but the homegroup feature is not compatible with Vista or XP.

First of all, make sure that both computers are members of the same workgroup which by default is named Workgroup.

    a. on the Windows 7 machine go into control panel-all items in the control panel-network and sharing Center then click on change sharing settings, advanced.

    b. you want to check the following settings under Advanced for home or work and Public profile sharing settings.

    ·         Turn on network discovery.

    ·         Printer sharing and file.

    ·         Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read write files in public folders.

    c. If you want any user to access public actions disable password protection.  It is located in the sharing settings advanced to the bottom of the list (protected by password sharing).

    ·         Turn off password protected sharing.

    d. If you want to keep it enabled, make sure that there is a newspaper account that the other XP machine and they have a password.

    e. over on your XP machine open my network places to search for the shared folder of Windows 7.

    f. double-click the shared folder to find a list of shared folders in the folder Public of Windows 7.  If you have password protection enabled you will have to type the user name and password of the user account on the windows 7 machine first.

  • after upgrade to macOS sierra cannot connect to citrix receiver apps

I use Citrix receiver apps to make my day to day work. The same citrix apps are also accessible via a web browser (Safari) and everything worked fine until the version IE Capitan.

After upgrade to macOS sierra I can't you connect/launch of citrix apps. I tried with receiver and citrix via web browser as well, but its not connecting.

Is anyone else facing the same issue or know the fix.

Earlier, I thought that maybe some problem of connectivity, but after a lot of troubleshooting it still did not work and shows the same error "failed to initialize." (attached image).

Then clicked on suddenly to mind that I just upgraded my MacBook OS. In order to confirm if his new problem of macOS or anything else, I have installed Windows 10 on vmware fusion and tried to connect to citrix receiver and it worked only! without any operation of additional troubleshooting, it is confirmed that the issue is again macOS.

So as a temporary workaround, you can use virtual windows OS on top of the operating system Mac OS page sierra to launch citrix applications.

But apple needs to fix in the Sierra.

This seems to be, in part, a browser problem.

Have you tried, since El Capitan or Sierra, another browser?

And it would move from Citrix to make their applications compatible with OSX.

  • Firefox does not connect to the internet on this computer, if it does on another computer and Internet Explorer connects also with no obvious problems.

About 1 year ago, I helped set up Firefox on my mother's computer. It worked fine until a couple of days. Now, he is more connected to the internet. The system is Windows XP, service pack 3. Internet Exporer connects to the Internet on this computer. Also, I have another computer with Firefox and it works without problem, wireless. We tried to remove Firefox and then reload and which did not help. We receive no error message. Internet and Firefox simply do not seem to see each other.

Sounds like a firewall issue, seems to affect
More than the other browsers, Firefox.

Beginning of July I received a new computer and moved away from using Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. I just noticed that some of the names in the address Comcast webmail box disappeared. • USB connection does not work on my computer for hdr-cx260v

It is a question (especially) on and off (sometimes). I have worked with Sony and have sometimes succeeded. With the help of the 'extra' 16 GB card works to connect and load. My problem is when I use the video stored in the internal memory and using the usb connection. If/when I ever actually loading the data from the internal memory (I have actually already loaded most, but not the most recent), I intend in the future to use only the memory card "exernal. My most recent appeal of Sony said I have no help since the camery is 2 years and more - they send me an e-mail to a site that gives instructions, but the instructions don't seem to solve my problem. I don't seem to have any connection problem "devices" of my USB ports.

When I connect the camcorder usb to my desktop (using different connections of USB drive) pc, my computer does not recognize the fittings of the. When I use another card memory USB for same usb connections, the computer recognizes the drive. There have been a few times when the camcorder has acknowledged the connection of the camcorder (most recently on June 12) - but this does not occur at thie time. If I take the memory card 16 GB additional of the camcorder and connect it to the connection of memory card, the computer has always recognized it.

My problem is trying to get the video from the cameras internal memory via the USB connection.

I think if/when can I get these loaded files, I have the intention of is no longer using the internal memory of the camera and always use the extra memory card.

    Stone

I realize that if I could have the laptop recognizes the usb connection, I could manually copy video files myself, even if I think THAT TDC would have also worked in this case.
