  I bought a new twe weeks computer.  Had prolems with internet connection.  KPN were fist to send someone because everything worked modum, draadloosnetwerk (on the screen), but nothing connected. The next day, I opened my computer and the problem was solved.  Now - since yesterday, I have once again no internet connection and it's the same problem I think.  I'm not a genius, but I'm trying to find the problem.   Are you trying to connect wireless or ethernet cable? Have you checked your connections are enabled? If you use the wireless option, you use the hp or windows connection manager?

  I sugest you try to connect with an ethernet cable and go to the network connection in Control Panel and check if your local connection is enabled. If you connect through a router has the DHCP settings.

  It started only happens in the last two months - cannot locate exactly when, but quite recently. I use connections to store small files and backup critical files a few before nailing the laptop away and it is quite annoying to have to go through this routine every time.

  Any ideas?

  Just in case it helps others - I found that if I make sure that my XP PC has a fixed IP address, and then set up the shares so that they are defined using the IP address and not share names, then I do have more problems - seems like it's something to do with Windows solve the share names rather than something to do with the personal firewall after all.

  When I try to connect to one of my Windows 2003 servers from my Windows 7 Ultimate pc, I get an error:
  "Remote Desktop connection has stopped working". It has something to do with the NLAapi.dll. If I rename this dll, TS works very well. I used the dll from another computer running Windows 7 RC and it works too, but in one of these two cases, while it corrects the TS connection, it causes other errors, maily with the network and sharing Center. Long story short, I think that there is a bug with nlaapi.dll. I can connect properly to my boxes of Windows XP SP3 servers. I ran all the updates on my 2 k 3 box, but still does not work.
