I would also maybe look at a paid version of any video converter offered by motorola, if there are those who support the i9

  • Inspiron 9400/E1705 - lines vertical and the seeds, and then black screen on startup of the computer

I have an Inspiron 9400/E1705 with a nVidia Geforce Go 7900 GS. A few months as the computer started showing the seeds while I was game (textures does not, massive downturn, etc.) and then finally horizontal began to appear on the screen, from start-up. I was unable to get into Windows with the exception of Safe Mode. I thought that the problem was the graphics card, and some users on this forum have confirmed this suspicion. Although in May 2007, when I was still under warranty, I got the card replaced, I don't was more under warranty at the time so I started shopping around for a replacement.

Before that I bought a replacement, however, the computer just stopped starting upwards. Previously, at least I could get Safe Mode and check my e-mail or Word process; now the screen stays empty (the LCD and an external monitor) and seems not even to try to start. The power and it occupied lights turn green, however, and remain like that until I turn off the power. I tried to boot with a RAM chip, thanks to the optical drive removed, with the hard drive, removed, and combinations of these, just to see if anything would change (anything).

My question is if this can also be a symptom of the graphics card does not, or I have a bigger problem on my hands?

    Thank you.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I ran the diagnosis before the white screen began to arrive, and only errors have been associated with the video.  I can't run any diagnostic now, though, to see if there are new mistakes, which is why I want to confirm a dead card can do that until I get a new.

  • Dell Inspiron 9400 and the charger has stopped working.

I have a Dell Inspiron 9400 and the charger has stopped working. I looked on the Dell support site and they sell no spare Chargers.  I looked on ebay and they are inundated with Chargers dell from £ 6 to £99.    But how can I be sure that they will not be some sloppily made Chinese clone that will burn my house!

I would have a go to repair the charger If Dell has not seen fit to the heat of welding the two halves closed!

You can search a person selling a genuine Dell PA10 adapter.  This is what you need.

  • Cannot turn on my wifi on a dell inspiron 9400

We bought the linksys wrt54gs and all is well with our 2 other laptops to connect to the internet. I can't activate my wifi on dell inspiron 9400, in order to connect wireless. I think that this is supposed to be fn f2, to allow, but who doesn't.

    Help, please...

What symbol is blue on your F2 key?

    (1) a radio station antenna?

    (2) a battery?

    (3) others?

If you do not have a radio station antenna, then look for a switch turn on your wireless adapter.  If you have a switch, it should be located on the side of the computer.  If you have a switch, turn on the light of Wi - Fi to your computer on and outside.

In addition, have messed about in the Bios of your computer?  If so, then maybe you accidentally turned off your card wireless in the bios of your computer.

In addition, on some computers, you can disable the card wireless in your wireless network card settings (double-click on the bottom wireless icon on the right).  Then click here to see if your wireless card is turned off.

Also, in Device Manager, where you found "Use this device (enabled)" - set to 'disable', restart the computer and then reset "enable" and see if that helps.

  • Add SimpleDrive external hard drive for Inspiron 9400

I use a drive external 250G hard SimpleTech SimpleDrive. I had plugged in a Dimension desktop computer and it works fine. I am abandoning the office and try to connect the external hard drive to my laptop Inspiron 9400. When I connect the drive via a usb cable, the disc sounds as if it's hunting and is never recognized by the laptop.  The external hard drive has its power supply on so I won't try to power it through the usb port. Any suggestions?

  • The upgrade of Inspiron 9400

I have an Inspiron 9400 with 60 GB HDD & Windows XP. I plan to upgrade the hard drive of 320, & install Windows 7 and possibly Windows 10.  I was assured by the Dell technical support that my Inspiron works with Windows XP or Vista. I already ran Rebecca Linux Mint 32-bit from the DVD without any apparent problem. My question is, I can actually install Win 7, or should I switch to Linux? Windows XP gets worse & worse! I held account install Win 7 on a bootable usb hdd to test this point.

  • How to convert NTSC to PAL!

    Dear friends!

I started a project with NTSC 16:9 setting, it's a music video, all my images are NTSC and I already finished everything in this clip.

After making all changes, addition of FX and etc I exported to the film and now I have my final as my output file Avi DV Windows file.

For some reason, I have to send a copy of my clip to the Middle East and as you know they are using the PAL system, so what is the best way for me to move to the next step, I mean I have my video NTSC format, should I try to find a program to convert NTSC to PAL or I can resume my NTSC with Premiere Pro CS3 project and see if there is a How to make my PAL output file!

    I use Premiere CS3

    Win XP

And I also have Adobe AE CS3, I do not know if that can help to convert.

    Thank you!

There is nothing wrong with your file.  It will not properly play on a NTSC game.  (However, it should display correctly on internal screens first.)

  • Rotation of a video clip and convert mp4 to avi

    Hello

    Just 2 quick questions...

I'm looking to convert a mp4 to avi file, the program that I usually use to convert files does not recognize the mp4, which is the best way to go about it

also, I have some video clips, I add to my production of Prime Minister. They are turned sideways. Is someone can please tell me how I can get to turn a video clip for what is the right way?

    Thank you!!!

Your best bet is to use Quicktime Pro as suggestions Hunt. There are some free programs like Super. It can convert MP4 video to AVI format, but if convert you to DV - AVI only to exports to a PAL 720 x 576 image size (with the other AVI formats, you can select the NTSC 720 x 480 standard) but you can set the frame for the NTSC standard rate. It can be downloaded from the following link. Scroll to the bottom of the page and ignore the ad AVS Converter until you get to 'Download the Super installation file': http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html

In Super go to "Select the output container" and scroll down and select AVI, you can then select the codecs video and audio output from the adjacent dropdown lists.

Otherwise you can try MPEG Streamclip, it can convert MP4 to DV - AVI (with the frame size) but it does not handle a wide range of formats mp4 as Super. http://www.squared5.com/SVIDEO/MPEG-Streamclip-Mac.html

To rotate your video in Premiere Elements, select the clip on the timeline and then click on the properties icon just above the timeline (or right-click on the clip and select properties), item properties panel opens. Then select query and you will find the rotation control there.

  • Pages supported by default and converted my word into pages documents. Ugh! now, half are corrupt and will not open. How do I reverse this order?

Pages has taken over and converted all my Word documents. now, half are corrupt and a mess... How can I make Word my default and how to edit pages documents to Word.

Pages is not a clone of Word, and you never work in the native Word document format.

When you open a Word document in Pages, he translated the Word content in document format internal .pages Pages like the active working copy. When you save this content, it is recorded as a Pages document and cannot replace the original content of the word.

This is when you export this document internal Pages content to the word he has once again reflected in the document format Pages internal to its best estimate in the new Word document format, Pages editing session and uses the same name of the document as the original Word document. Just nothing where you bitten, because Apple gives no assurance that the process of translation will be accurate, and you effectively overwriting your original, rather than generating a different export document name to preserve the original.

If you want to always open/edit/save in the native format of Word document, then use Word in Office for Mac. It is the only app that offers native Word document changes.
