Qosmio F50 - 10 k - multimedia keyboard and recovery disc creation

Hello!

I have a Qosmio F50 - 10 k.
I want to create a recovery disk, but I accidentally delete the folder, I didn't knew that contains the files for the recovery CD/DVDs. Is it possible to download? Or should I go to the store where I brought the laptop and ask?

Another thing... my keys multimedia aren t work... I have searched for it and I saw a threat on the incompatibility of vmware, but I already remove vmware and the problem persists... What can I do?

Big names

> I want to create a recovery disk, but I accidentally delete the folder
It wasn't good buddy.
If you deleted the folder in HARD drive recovery then you will not be able to create the recovery disk
In this case, you will need to order it here:

Good bye

So, since buying my laptop ive put some games and other various programs on the C partition for a total of 18gigs of value. And another question when im done make the disc when I use them, they work exactly as how the Recovery Manager works when you pull up in windows from the recovery partition? I want to know this because when I use the Recovery Manager in windows from the partition it gives me a separate option to reinstall the drivers and additional programs (i.e.: suite dvd, youcam, norton) that came with the pc?

I have never seen a recovery set take 8 DVD, but there is always a first guess. When you start the process of creation of recovery it will tell you how to can the disks are required. If you don't have enough, it will let you cancel until you get more.

  • Recovery disc creation

I have HP Pavilion dv5-1010et Entertainment Notebook PC. I entered Recovery Manager, you click on advanced, then selected Options create recovery disks and then press Next. Recovery Manager does not invite me to insert a blank CD, instead a dialog box appears with a red cross on the left saying "recovery disk was created. There is no CD or DVD inserted first Virgin. How to fix this problem? That hurt that I could not create recovery discs? I would appreciate help with this problem.

    @lauriej

I'm sorry that you run also in this issue of recovery disc creation. You can also contact HP Technical Support at the 800.474.6836 to let them know that you have a problem, create the discs. As in the case of the CW4ZNS, the retailer may have created the disk but failed to give them.

You can also create your own disc of Windows 8, however. Perhaps this is a faster option for you.

Download the ISO of Windows 8 64-bit here

ImgBurnto burn the ISO to a disc.

If you need to use the drive, you will have to put the disc in, reboot and press F9 to the power of. Select your CD drive and start the installation. It will ask you the product key, and you can find that on the label of Microsft on the sides or the back of your computer. Once installation is complete, you will need to go to Your HP driver Page to download your drivers and software.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions on this

    Hello

I've had my G10 for a few years now and becomes very slow so I thought that I would like to re - install XP to get rid of all the waste.
So I put the product recovery disc in and formatted the c drive and he did his thing and seemed to re - install ok

When I rebooted, I get the Qosmio startup screen followed by a BSOD that is so fast that I can't read.

I don't know what to do now?

    Any ideas would be appreciated

    Hello Mike

I understand you, but if you have a problem should not be the reason to write stuff not justified here.

At, first check what is written on the grey top of this forum. This is the forum for users. This means no responses from Toshiba. So, I hope that we have clarified this now.

Second your comment about recovery media works does not is also funny.
How old is your Qosmio laptop?
Do you use a recovery media for the first time?

Is it possible that there is another reason for support of non-working recovery?
Have you done the updates such as RAM or HARD drive?

    Thank you

    Hey mate,

I have too many Qosmio F50 and you can change the option if, after hibernate or stand-by the account should be locked or not. As far as I know that this can be changed in power management.

About this window of Event Viewer, I never heard talk about this and my Qosmio F50 works fairly well with Windows 7. You have installed all the drivers for it? You have yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager?

I also used Windows 7 drivers, but did you download from the Toshiba page? These drivers are pre-tested and normally should work pretty well.

  • Laptop HP 15-f162dx: THEIR is NO OPTION of DVD FOR DVD RECOVERY DISC CREATION IN the HP RECOVERY MANAGER'S

I HAVE HP 15-f162dx NOTEBOOK PC in WHICH I AM creating RECOVERY DVD DISCS IN "HP RECOVERY MANAGER", BUT in THE "HP - CREATE RECOVERY MEDIA" IS NO OPTION TO CREATE a DVD. EARLY CLAIM.

    CONCERNING

    Ok.

I don't see that as a real issue or problem.  The ability to create a recovery media is part of the purchase, and you do not have the ability to create a recovery media.

Why don't you use the option of USB flash drive?

The USB stick recovery is higher on the recovery DVD disc in a number of ways.

    (1) a usb flash drive are not damaged by just scratching the surface, unlike the DVD in a set of recovery disks. A scratch on the side of disc label #1 and the whole is unusable.

    (2) a recovery, when from a usb flash drive takes less than an hour, so that once made with one set of recovery disks can take up to four hours.

    (3) not all DVD media can be used to create a reliable recovery DVD media.

    (4) DVD media can be easily destroyed by heat, if you live in a region of the world where the temperature is normally high.

    (5) usb recovery media creation takes less than an hour, compared to the time it would take to make a recovery of the DVD disc.

I'm eager to get win xp instead of vista current on Satellite L350-17Z because some soft is not stable and vulnerabilities, while under xp on the desktop computer, I had no problem. XP compatibility mode is not solve this problem.

So I decided to do it in a cruel manner as a laptop is new and almost empty, not to mention the habit of hard drive xp. Still I tried to make a recovery, using TOSHIBA Recovery Disc Creator.

Buta * during DVD burning there is a fault and message about some problems with the calibration. I tried a few discs - same result.

    Hi Snen,

It would be interesting to know what CD/DVD drive you have. Maybe you should try to update the firmware of the drive. For some readers of Toshiba and Pioneer, the site shows an update of the firmware. It s worth a try!

And what kind of DVD that you use to create a recovery disk? I have good experience with the types of DVD - R and I use Verbatim.

  • Satellite L350 - Question about recovery disc creation

    Help, please.

I read in the manual for my new lap top before setting up and feel rather nervous.

The seller said that he had to open automatically when I start it, and all I had to do to install the printer and my word m/s (for example) program and I would be in place and running.

But it seems that I should first do some recovery disks.
How many disks is necessary? DVD no doubt - or D/L.?
The recovery discs are possible after other programs installed?

Secondly, he mentioned the manual online. Where can I find it?
I have a scanner and a Seagate external hard drive, but these can be added later.
I use the laptop as a desktop replacement for my old Mesh PC of five years.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello

Yes, it is very important to create the recovery disk before you change anything on your HARD drive laptops.
When you have completed the installation of Vista, you must start the application called recovery Toshiba disc Creator.
This application will help you create the recovery disk.

As I m not wrong not you would need a DVD. I recommend using a DVD-R.

Notes; in some cases, you might get an error burning the recovery DVDs. This may happen because not all drives are fully compatible. So if you get this error please check different DVD from different manufacturers

    Good bye

The company bought laptop Hp Probook 470 G1 E9Y79EA. We would like to do the recovery disks, but Recovery Manager is missing. Can someone help me?

    GORDIUS

    Hello:

You can order HP recovery media by contacting HP for the country that you live in the link below.

Call the phone number for business PC or use the chat feature.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/contact-HP/WW-contact-us.html

If you are located in the USA/Canada, call this number... 1-800-334-5144.

In the United States, if the PC is under warranty the recovery discs are normally sent free.

You will need to provide the serial number of each PC you want a set of disks for.

  • Qosmio F50 - 10Z - fan cycling on and outside, even when idle

My f50 is constantly the fan turns and turns off every couple of minutes, even when the computer is idle and does not run applications.

SpeedFan shows that the GPU is constantly cycling between 55 and 65 degrees C even if there are no applications running (for example just after the start)-the fan kicks in at age 65, died at 55, and then slowly warms up again. The noise of the fan is noticeable (I don't think it's going full speed, however), and it is a bit abrupt and boring happen constantly and is not normal behavior. Core 1 and 2 on Speedfan are cycles between 40 and 45 C

Outside temperature is 20 degrees, so the environment is unlikely to be a factor. I blasted air fan for dust (as much as you can because the f50 is not built to be taken by a user to the home page), but even when the fan runs at the output seems visibly warm.

I am only drivers of toshiba running on the site (currently 7.15.11.7590)

My main concern is that this will negatively affect the life of the fan. Am I being too picky or is there something else I could do?

    Thanks for the tips

    Hello!

It's not easy to say what's the reason of this problem, I so a few questions:
Did you install the laptop with the recovery disk or Microsoft?
What operating system do you use?

First of all, you should try to update the BIOS. You can find it on the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

Also, make sure that there is enough free space a tower the specifications that the air circulation is not blocked.

    I hope I could help a bit.
