Connect JDeveloper 11g TP4 to Weblogic 10.3

Hello

Anyone who manages to connect to Weblogic 10.3 since JDeveloper 11.1 TP4?

I have seems different from the tutorial provided by Shay Shmeltzer about how to connect JDev 10 g to Weblogic. With 11.1 TP4, I create the connection to the Application Server, I put the path to the weblogic.jar in the field named "path to Weblogic containing Weblogic Client" but when I test the connection, I get ' unable to instantiate the class: weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory ' which suggest the pot is not loaded. I run JDev on Linux, I copied the file in "JDEV_HOME/jdev/lib/ext (I created the directory)", "JDEV_HOME/jdev/extensions" and "JDEV_HOME, jdev, lib" and bounce Jdev. Same mistake.

The doc online says more than I guess. Obviously, I'm doing something wrong. Can someone help me, it may be obvious, because nobody seems to have asked this question in this forum.

Thank you very much for your help. Best regards

Gregory

Hello
I tried it also without success. I don't think that you (or I) made a mistake. It's just that the WLS10.3 is new and JDEV suppose to connect to another version of WLS.
The ext folder will not work because oracle changed the way assigned to the extension.

My guess is that we must wait until the next version of JDev11 to get connected.

I use the human task in jDeveloper 11g. While creating the participants, dropdown 'Kingdom' has no values to choose.

In jdeveloper 10g, all names have been stored in "jazn.com".

Therefore, how to select a participant in 11g?

There is no specific requirements for this. A valid app server connection is sufficient to do this.

To work around the problem, you can always, type user/group name instead of browsing through the identity browser directly.

  • activate the assertion in jdeveloper 11g

    Hi all
can you guide me, how to enable the assertion in jdeveloper 11g.

I wrote a sampling program and it does not work (not throw assertionerror) with the statement.

    public class {Assertions
    public Assertions() {}

    Public Shared Sub main (String [] args) {}
    assert 1 == 3;

WebLogic is used as the application server.

In java, assertions are disabled by default: you must enable at startup of the environment that is running your application.

So, you could try to start your instance of weblogic inside JDev and type 127.0.0.1:7101 in your browser.
    Credential is weblogic/weblogic default.
In the left pane, within the "environment"-> "Servers"-> "DefaultServer" your have a master tab is selected by default 'Configuration', click 'start server' and try to add "-ea" as an argument to Java.

  • Just install JDeveloper 12 c with webLogic server

    Hello friends,

I am new to Oracle ADF. I have just installed Oracle JDeveloper and observed that WebLogic Server-12 c got also installed.

I'm learning Oracle ADF to develop a web application independent.

Can someone help me understand the following:

    (1) is it mandatory to use for Oracle ADF WebLogic Server

    (2) when we compile and run our program developed in the JDeveloper environment, he deployed on weblogic Server (which got installed)?

    (3) we configure the weblogic Server development in JDeveloper before?

    Thanks and greetings

    Hawker

    (1) Weblogic is the application most commonly used server. However, you can use glassfish as well - http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/documentation/1212-cert-1964670.html#Abrams-SupportInformation-ApplicationServers

    (2) you must deploy on the weblogic Server (this is the integrated weblogic server that has installed). You can run your jspx page or deploy the profile of the EAR.

    http://docs.Oracle.com/middleware/1212/ADF/ADFAG/deploy.htm

    (3) you must create a data source that points to the databases you use. Other than for a standard ADF application running on Weblogic Server integrated, there are not much he must use configurations. However, when deploying in production environments, you need to make sure, you install and configure the environment to weblogic for performance and scalability. The link above should have a few details.

  • JDeveloper installation on existing Weblogic server

    Hello

I have Oracle Fusion Middleware 11 running on my Windows 7 workstation.

I want to install JDevelopper 115, I don't need its WebLogic but I need to create Web services for forms.

How can I install Jdeveloper 115 without its Weblogic?

    Thank you very much

This has nothing to do with the FPÖ. I'm not in front of a computer at the moment, but what you need to do is to create a new library in jdev (Tools, manage libraries) and add the jar file to the stuff of CCP forms. You can then add the library to your project by double clicking on the project using the libraries category. I don't remember the exact jar file you need, but out should be in the home of forms, and I think that it is frmall.jar - check forms documentation to be sure.

  • Problem with competent inputFile in Jdeveloper 11g ADF

    Hello

I use a competent inputFile in jsff page where the user can browse the file system, select the file in order to to store in the database.

I created a method of valueChangListener for this component which deal with this file and place it in db.

    The problem is:

Once the user selects the file it appears for one second in the page it disappears and the valueChangeListener is not called.

Note: the AutoSubmit regularity is set to true for this competent. I use jdeveloper with ADF 11g.

  • Problem with Jdeveloper 11g R1

    Hi all

I use Jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 version installed in Windows 7.

The problem, I do face is - any changes in my application is non-reflecting. I am able to generate EAR successfully and able to deploy on the server weblogic successfully. But when I run the application its projection towards the top of the earlier application and my recent changes do not appear.

I did it after to fix it. But no luck.

    (1) closed the jdeveloper.
    (2) uninstalled jdeveloper.
    (3) delete the folder "c:\oracle\Middleware". While it is created again.
    (4) deleted the folder "< myuserprofile > \appdata\roaming\jdeveloper. While it is created again.
    (5) installed Jdeveloper
    6) increased memory c:\oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper \jdev\bin\jdev.conf - XX: MaxPermSize = 256 M - XX: MaxPermSize = 512 M
    (7) memory an increase of c:\oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\ide\bin\ide.conf-Xmx640M to-Xmx925M
    (8) given in the system market.
    (9) open Jdeveloper.
    (10) added to the Jdeveloper application
    (11) built on demand and deployed on the server.
    (12) tested the app

But its still showing the old application.

Somewhere the data get collected in the previous application.

Can someone quickly to help me and me to solve the problem, please :(

    Thank you
    Sneha

You forgot a step that could make the difference:
Delete the files of all the projects involved in your application classes (from the operating system).

A simple construction or reconstruction is not enough to kill the internal memory and the old classes. Often older class files are in the folder classes and you get weird results. It is not necessary to remove the entire jdev. Cancellation of the deployment of the application, to remove records of classes and reconstruction should be sufficient.

    Hello

I checked my model and can't seem to insert and delete records of Oracle XE 10 g database using JDeveloper 11 g. Can someone tell me why this is the case? Upgrade to version 11g Oracle XE beta?

  • JDeveloper 11g and Tomcat

I create an application of ADF using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3. Can I test it (run) in Tomcat?
How to create a project of ADF using Jdeveloper and deploy it in Tomcat?

According to some blogs, I create an applicaton ADF running on Tomcat. However, it is not stable.
Y at - it an official tutorial on how to do it?

You can create web applications of all types of JDeveloper. but tomcat can deploy only what it supports.
But no ADF, it can only be deployed in WebLogic Server.
I wanted to understand that the ADF is actually the framework that is not supported in tomcat but in WebLogic.

  • Where is the HTML of JDeveloper 11g ADF FACES?

I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 for my project. I remembered in 10g I a list of HTML tags such as, afh:tableLayout, afh:cellFormat, etc. under ADF FACES HTML package. However, in new JDeveloper 11 g, I saw that ADF carrots and there is no ADF Faces HTML tag. They are always available in 11g? If so, how can I install these tags in JDeveloper 11 g?

You will need to add the components of the Trinity to your project - tags are there.
But the question is if you really need to use these components, or maybe the layout components that provide the ADF Faces will be enough for you.

    Thank you

    Hello

    JDeveloper 11 doesn't support JAX - RPC 1.1.

You can find here some migration steps:

    http://www.approach.nl/2009/01/migrating-Web-services-from-JDeveloper-10G-to-11g/

I think that there is a Migration Guide from the Web Service available using JDeveloper 11.

You really just have to redefine the service interfaces, if you try to run the proxy generated with 10g, you will probably need to regenerate them.

    Hope this helps
