Connect load balancing
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone would be able to explain, or point me to a resource how to connect manages the load when it is deployed in a cluster of balancing? I can't find any documentation about it.
Thank you
Billmam
You can look at the contents of this
http://www.ConnectUsers.com/tutorials/2009/04/clustering_nlb/index.php
I read a few months ago, I think it gives a high level view of load balancing. I am trying to set up on our network with 2 in a cluster, but we use BLT with Apache + Stunnel and 2 servers Connect.
the license you must be a cluster license, otherwise I don't think it will work. the reason why we use Apache and Stunnel was due to the use of SSO.
but the question of high level to respond to you, this is the database that keeps track of clustering and the fact a roundrobin with the users between servers Connect client. 2 connect servers point to the same SQL Server database, but the content data are replicated to all servers connection. Not yet connect does support the use of storage networking between a clustered server.
also, your cluster must be on the same subnet because of replicated data content.
hope this helps some, if you have more questions I'll be watching this thread.

View connection load balancing servers
I want to install 2 view of connection on different cluster servers and load balance their. Is this possible? I use this time notice 4.6, but can I upgrade to version 5, as appropriate. I am currently only run 1 server now and I would like to add another if possible to reduduncy.
This can be done easily, but you will need a method to provide the balance of the charge, as the view that only in native mode. Video related herein exceeds at some point, http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-14974of load balancing.

Server connection load balancing?
Hi all
I know with the replica server, you can have multiple connection servers, so if one fails, you can redirect users to the other connection server, or you can use multiple connection servers to divide the load. What is the best method (deployment best practices) to connect to the server high availability? If you make use of the feature of vSphere fault tolerance?
I ask myself this question in part regarding this message below. I don't really understand this part "depending on your configuration of view connection server, you might see a message, as there is no secure connection to the view connection server. In some cases, no message is displayed.
What arrangement they are referring to? In addition, the only time where I came across this message in production is when users connect to view through VPN connections. Are there specific settings that must be defined to better support vpn to connect to the server connections?
What to do if discovered Client exits unexpectedly
View client may quit even if you do not close it.
Problem
View Client may quit unexpectedly. Depending on your configuration of view connection server, you might see a message as there is no secure connection to the view connection server. In some cases, no message is displayed.
Cause
This problem occurs when the connection to view connection to the server is lost.
Solution
♦
Restart the Client to view. You can connect with success as soon as the view connection server is run again. If you continue to have problems connecting, contact your administrator to view.
Thank you
Mike
I understand they disconnect and must reconnect manually.
You can easily test it with a single connection to the server by connecting to a virtual desktop and stopping the view on the broker connection service.

How to disable connection load balancing server-side
I read that in a new load connection side installation server, NLB is enabled by default. How can this be

(b) disabled?

(b) not recommended to disable. But there are several options:1.) is best to create a service that runs only on node 1. So you can be sure to always connect to the correct node.

Correct settings to use Smart Connect and load balancing?
Hi guys
I have a question, the answer of which I was not able to find explicitly, so I hope a quick fix OK / not OK for you:
I would use tri-band technology provides the R8000, i.e. to activate Smart Connect / load balancing. Is - it only works Ghzs 5 band, or the router can also connect clients on the 2 Ghz bands?
If this is true, then I need to give the strip of 2, 4 GHz the SSID the same 5 Ghz band, correct?
Otherwise, if it only works in the 5 Ghz bands, I could keep the SSID distinguishes?
Thank you
Balancing of resources between the two radios. 2, 4 GHz band vs a single radio, the two radio channels in the 5 GHz band.

Double connection ISP and load balancing
Hi all
I have the Cisco 2911 router k 9/s with 3 GB ports. I have also two different ISP connections, all have two different available bandwidth (one is asymmetrical, else a symmetrical).
What I want to achieve is to ensure the balance of Nice load between two ISPS for all PCs behind the NAT device.
What I know so far, it's that I can use CEF or PfR/REL. For both of this technology, I have some doubts.
CEF: distributes the network load between the two connections based on sessions (which is good, because I strongly to use tools like Skype or Lync for audio/video conversations). However, what is happening, when I get on one of the ISP connections broadband bandwidth max? He's going to choke for 50% of the connections? Or it will detect the use of bandwidth and to force using second ISP?
PfR/REL: as far as I understood it resolves my concern regarding the use of the connection, but what happens to the session? Should it also be based on this mechanism? As you know that it is very important for audio/video connections.
Are there other tools that can provide these load balancing? I know DAB, but I don't want to decide manually, where each service (e.g. http or ssh) will have to go. I'm looking for something more automated.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello
I assume that you have a static route for the subnet 213.192.65.0/24 on top of the output and with the combination of order
network default IP 213.192.65.105 213.192.65.105 IP address is installed as a default gateway. What is the #2 ISP?
If so, it explains why he always goes on ISP2 only.
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/Tech/tk365/technologies_tech_note09186a0080094374.shtml#flagging
Just remove the config:
None
ip default-network 213.192.65.105
None
ip default-gateway 213.192.65.105
Then again check the routing table:
SH ip route
Hope it helps.

Can I have load balancing for two ISP (PPPoE and PPPoA) on Cisco 897va connections
Hello
I have two ISP connection and I have Cisco router 897va, I want to have the load balancing for two ISP connection second connection is PPPoE connection and second is PPPOA (ATM) connection.
It is possible to do?
Thank you in advance.
You can balance by TCP (the default behavior with CEF enabled) stream. Alias a user turns off a pipe and the next user goes off the next pipe.
Make sure that you use the nat with route map that matchers the output interface, then you just need two routes of equal cost default (a leaver each circuit).

Horizon 6.0 HTML Blast connection through an A10 load balancer?
Hey all.
After a recent update to 6.0.0 of 5.1, we seek to get HTML Blast connections operation. We are routing our PCoIP connections through an A10 load balancer. Now, I'm not the person of networking which set up but from my understanding, we have a VIP configuration for port 443 for our two servers for connection. With the help of the A10, we set up a second VIP with two connection for port 8443 servers. Load balanced connections to https://myfriendlyname.domain.com half of the working time. The time, they do not work you can access the destination page, connection, choose the pool, and then page cannot be displayed or couldn't resolve proxy in Chrome. If you go to the #2 server directly by going to https://server_name , it works fine. If you go to the #1 server by going to https://server_name/ it does not work. Both in the Horizon view Admin > servers > server connection > edit > Blast external URLS are https://myfriendlyname.domain.com/: 8443. If you change this to the individual server, server #1 will always work. Just like the #2 server. So I tell myself, is not a thing of VMware, but something of the A10. I know that a connection initiated on port 443 must be the same server, generating the connection on port 8443, otherwise it will go down. I checked with our team of networking and check that the permanent sessions are enabled. We went over a few rounds with A10 and they encountered no HTLM Blast before. I saw a few workarounds for F5, but nothing for the A10.
Does anyone have experience with getting this work with A10?
Thank you.
Another updated. We have allowed the persistence of server on the VIP and that solved the problem.

Load balancing connection servers
Hello
I was wondering what everyone else is doing to provide the load balancing / high availability for servers to view connection? Specific brands/models that you use?
I currently have two servers connection, I have everyone did to one and the other is just a bit there as a spare part. It is not ideal.
THX

We currenlty use alternating, repetition is not ideal, but seeking an F5 in the near future.

See the connection to the server, load balancer &; physical workstations
We deploy a VMWare view environment and we use a combination of physical and virtual desktops.
When install us the Agent to view physical workstations with the /V "VDM_VC_MANAGED_Agent = 0" settings. " This allows to specify the Server Manager to view to record the workstation during installation.
So far we've just been specifying a connection view servers and everything was fine. But now we are getting our deployment and we want to ensure that we have the appropriate redundancy built in.
If the server connection view that physical workstation is registered during installation fails, is grave view agent automatically knows to start watching one of the replica servers?
If it isn't... We are keen to implement a load balancer between the workstations phyiscal on connection view servers. Are there problems with it?
I found many articles balancer redundancy and load for VMWare View, but none don't talk specifically a load balancer between physical work stations with the agent of the view and connection servers.
Take a look in the registry on the physical Machine, he must list all available connection brokers it.

Handling of load-balanced connections Sonic MQ
Hello
We have successfully connected to a single broker Sonic WebLogic, but we now plan to connect using a factory of (foreign) connections which is load-balanced, i.e. Specifies several brokers.
I have read the Sonic MQ Application Programming Guide and noted that...
"Any broker in a cluster can redirect incoming client connections to another broker in the same cluster for load balancing purposes. Load balancer must be configured on the broker. The client must also be configured to indicate that it is ready to have a connection forwarded to another broker request. »
It indicates a client should call:
ConnectionFactory.setLoadBalancing (true) before calling the createConnection() method.
Given that I use JMS wrappers I do not have the ability to do that, can you confirm if this is the default?
Also if you know traps around this scenario I would be grateful for pointers until we test this out for good.
Thank you very much
MandyI think that the res-Ref wrappers can allow invoking extensions, but they must be exposed via an interface (cast to the interface from abroad). Sonic MQ can provide configurable load balancing behavior as well.

What load balancing algorithm using the LRT224?
I was wondering if anyone knew what algorithm of load balancing the LRT224 use since I can't find it anywhere and the telephone support line does not. It is very similar to the RV320 of Cisco that uses Weighted Round Robin, but I don't think that the Linksys uses this algorithm because it includes speeds of bandwidth unlike the cisco that does not work. and if anyone can also check that this unit doesn't package base rather than load balanced session load balancing. as much information as possible would be appreciated!
The standard of the LRT load balancing is alternated:
Example:
1 TCP connection to website-online WAN1
2 TCP connection to website2.com-online WAN2
3 TCP connection to website2.com-online WAN1
4 TCP connection to website1.com-online WAN2
If you enable the feature (recommended) sticky load balancing load balancing is done on a base per session instead of the base of the connection.
Example:
1 TCP connection to website-online WAN1
2 TCP connection to website2.com-online WAN2
3 TCP connection to website2.com-online WAN2
4 TCP connection to website1.com-online WAN1

Hi, what is the best way to balance the two connectrions with SRW2008 internet? Is possible to also "switch"?
Thank you in advace
Nino
Aggregation of links (sometimes called "Bundling") combines two or more physical ports into a single logical port. After that, you have only one logical port. This allows you to increase the bandwidth on a link. To use it, you must connect the ports combined in another switch/device that supports the same and has the same configuration.
So, Yes to use the aggregation of links, you'll need another switch like the SRW2008.
However, the aggregation of links isn't load balancing. The logical port is still a single connection, even if it's running on multiple threads. It must connect to the same physical device.
