  If you are already connected, you'd be here on the same node, even if it becomes unavailable. There will be no movement of the sessions from one node to another by oracle since load balancing server-side is only at the time of connection .

  I understand they disconnect and must reconnect manually.

  You can easily test it with a single connection to the server by connecting to a virtual desktop and stopping the view on the broker connection service.

  I read a few months ago, I think it gives a high level view of load balancing.  I am trying to set up on our network with 2 in a cluster, but we use BLT with Apache + Stunnel and 2 servers Connect.

  Control Panel-> Internet Options.

  Click on the 'Connections' tab at the top

  Click on the "Network settings" button near the bottom

  Uncheck "automatically detect connection settings.

  Change other settings that you need on this page, as it will fit is no longer automatically.

  I wouldn't try any changes until 9.3.1 service fix #16 is published.

  Oracle is back-porting clusterware support with service set # 16.
  HSS 9.3.1sf 16 'active passive failover cluster with Oracle 11g for hss and openldap web application Clusterware'

  Escalated support resources that I have been in contact with solutions based on the Oracle are not supported. Please be aware this is not balancing and failover support only.

  To my knowledge there is not a 'active' 9.3.1 SSP that is supported by Oracle.

  Never heard of the two! Show us the reference for oracle documentation when they are mentioned.

  This allows for connection time load balancing client-side which is actually not a true one and 11.2 CARS, its not so need to be settled.

  Can anyone tell me about any test cases for server side in a 11.1.0.7 RAC load balancing?
  
  I have a 2 RAC nodes with either local_listener and remote_listener correctly (for load balancing server-side). For the test, I create a TNS to my side client that points to a single node of the PAP (a single ADDRESS entry pointing to node 1 of my CARS). So, this customer, whenever I log in, it always connects me node 1 I mentioned in the LMO. This means that server-side load balancing works jointly with the client side only load balancing and I would also add the address entered my TNS for the second node? If Yes, then how can I create a test case to check server load balancing?
