  I have a WAG200G Annex-A Wireless G modem router ADSL residential, I used as a wireless router. Now I've changed suppliers (Auntie Indicom - in India), and they have a 'new technology '. Basically, instead of giving me a DSL line in my house, now they directly give me an Ethernet cable in my house (they have a local DSL box somewhere on the roof with various Cisco switches for each household). Then, they want to connect via PPPoE by starting a Dialer on my computer, this particular Ethernet cable is connected.

  Now, that works all very well, but we have more than one computer at home, and I would like to use Wifi instead of being connected at all times via the cable on my laptop.

  So now my question is:

  Can I configure the Linksys router so that IT don't the PPPoE dial for me? Basically this means plug the Ethernet cable provided by my ISP in one of the ETHERNET Ports and set up allowing to switch on (since there is no cable "line" adsl connected more) with my user name and password.

  Anyone know how to do this, or if this is possible?

  P.s.: I've set up the Internet connection sharing via ad-hoc wireless, which works very well, but is only a temporary solution because I don't want to use my laptop as a router...

  I want to configure my router for my SSID is not broadcast, because I think it's a logical step to take for increased security. I have not been able to do since I started using my new laptop Inspiron 5558. I tried this several times and every time I turn off the SSID broadcast, I am not able to connect to the Wi - Fi on this laptop. I checked this box, and since then, I was able to connect to my network wireless with SSID broadcast disabled. I will now call this resolved and if no new problems arise. start a new post.   Dear experts,

  I have a laptop HP Pavilion DV7-2014TX running Win7 Ultimate.

  I just bought a new Bose Bluetooth headset. I tried for 2 hours to try to pair it with my phone, but my laptop is not all bluetooth devices.  I tried as much as I know, but I'm out of ideas. The only thing that I think now is that my laptop is old enough that it is no longer compatible with the version of bluetooth on my helmet.

  Any help would be welcome, thank you.

  Have a new laptop (ASUS) with windows 8. The laptop using my live account from microsoft for the login screen. After that the first windows update, I can not log on the laptop and had to have Best Buy reload windows 8 and start over. There is no way to unlock this processor without the password.   I was able to uninstall Checkpoint, as part of the upgrade of Windows 8.1 window and subsequently install Checkpoint endpoint connect successfully.

  Therefore, I am happy to say that for our Organization and our version of the control point, it is looking like it is fully compatible with Windows 8.1.

• Unable to connect via wifi with iOS

  These days I was unable to connect to Skype when on any wifi. As soon as I turn off wifi and use my cell network signed in full. I have a 6 s iPhone running the latest iOS and versions of Skype. Anyone else having this problem? I tried to reinstall the software with no luck.

  Never mind... 3 attepnts later took an uninstall, force the restart of the iPhone and reinstall to get it working again.
