Connecting the child outlook account to mine.

How can I associate my child outlook e-mail account at the mine, or even change his e-mail account to one account adult?

Hello

Based on your post, it seems that you have 2 concerns:

First: If your concern is the addition of your child in the safety of your family, you can follow these steps:

Add/Re-adding a child to parental controls in Windows 7/Vista

The latest version of the parental control now uses the standard user accounts (logon Windows) as a child in the safety of the family. If you need to know about adding a user to the Windows login with standard privileges, please see the link below:

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/create-a-user-account

If you have already created a standard user and you want to manage under parental control, then follow these steps:

1. run the parental control on a Windows account with administrator privileges. If this is your first time running the parental control, you need to sign in using your Microsoft Account.

2. after login, select the standard Windows account that you want to monitor as a child by checking the box to the right of the name of the account, and then click Next after.

3 on the right, you will see members parental control with a list of drop down option. Click the menu drop-down, and then select Add standard account name.

4. click on record. Wait until the installation is done.

5. Once done, you should see the name of the account under Windows monitored accounts.

Add/Re-adding a child (with a Microsoft account) for parental control in Windows 8

In Windows 8, you can use accounts of Microsoft as a user. You just link the Microsoft e-mail account to the new standard user. Follow these steps:

Note: Make sure that you have an internet connection to create a user with a Microsoft account.

1. press Windows key on your keyboard to access the applications screen.

2. tap create an account (you will be redirected to search application screen automatically).

3. click on settings (second option with the gear icon).

4. click on create an account on the selection to the left pane. (You may be prompted for access admin select an admin user, and then enter the administrator password).

5. in the account management window, click Add a user account.

6. you will be prompted to add a user, enter the Microsoft account email address in the text box then click on Next.

7. check This is a child account? Turn on family safety for PC usage reports.

8. click on Finish.

After you create the child account, you can then go to the Family Safety website, log in using the parent account and then manage restrictions and control of your child options.

Second: In case you want your child free of any restriction which actually an adult account, you will need to just make sure that he or she is not a member of the safety of your family to check on the Family Safety website. To remove a child, go to manage the list of the members of the family. Select the account you want to delete by checking the box on the right, click on remove, then confirm by clicking on remove again.

In case you have problems after deleting the account as a child, please update the personal data of the account by connecting to https://account.live.com/summarypage.aspx.

Note: If you are currently logged in using your account, you must open a session and re-enter your child's account.

If you need more help, feel free to post back.

Thank you!

At the office, I have Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 is installed. My PC connects to an area of the company that runs on Microsoft Windows Server 2008. I use Thunderbird on my laptop to connect to my Outlook account. How can I do this?

In view of the fact that they appear to be a Windows-using exclusively organization, it is most likely they use MS Exchange.

Thunderbird uses Internet POP, IMAP and SMTP standards. MS Exchange can use these but the admin has failed them. It is possible that your e-mail client Android has the possibility of using a Microsoft proprietary protocols to work with Exchange.

If standard protocols are not available, you can use the Davmail modules or Exquilla in Thunderbird so that it can appear to be an Exchange-compatible e-mail client. I use Davmail successfully on my place of work.

Keep in mind that if they do not POP etc., it is unlikely that they will allow external connections to internal e-mail accounts. The usual ways to allow such connections are VPN or OWA.

  • Permisions - the child's account?

    Tried to set up a laptop for 3 young children to use and set parental controls. When I go to my Microsoft account I can go to permissions and select;

Choose what your children can share with other people online.

who then takes the permissions - accounts of Kid, but then said

    Manage parental permissions

You have no accounts of the child.

It doesn't give you any option to add or bind on behalf of a child.  How can you do this?

I created 3 openings of accounts Microsoft individual one for each child and add them and applied the security settings for the family under the control panel.  Is this the same thing as above, or something else entirely?

    Hi DarrenBlair,

Parental permissions for the link you gave applies to accounts of child under COPPA. If you have set the parameter on your control panel, the parameter should apply to https://familysafety.microsoft.com. This is where you can manage the settings for accounts of your child.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
    Thank you!
  • When I connect to my outlook account, all the links in the upper part are not visible, and when I try to click on any of my emails, nothing happens.

I've updated my browser and still get the same results. Sometimes, after refreshing the page several times it will appear.

    This occurs in safe mode?

Have you tried clear your recent history?

Also, try to check your plugins:

  • Get an error "Connection is blocked" while trying to connect to my Outlook account.

    * Original title: unable to connect to my E-mail account.

Hi, while trying to connect, after entering my password I get the message saying sign is blocked.

How to make the unlocked sign? I had a terrible experience with the customer, any assistance they could provide is copy/paste responses of standard procedure.

Some have not even answering the questions I have asked and just kept repeating the same thing, go through the password recovery process.

I tried the process and he said the security response was entered too many times, although I have not tried to enter before, but I know even if I tried I'd end up just to get the same message.

After that I tried the form to answer as many questions about my E-mail as possible, but the automated process comes negative return over and over again how far it is now locked as well.

To try to get real help from a person real working at Microsoft, I beg you, please at least unlock the sign-in so that I can enter my password.

No absurdity of security concern because everything what it will do is let me enter my password for my account, I ask you reset the password and give it to me just asking for it.

All that I ask is to unlock the connection procedure, so that I can provide the password (as the path audit property) to connect to my account.

  • Windows 8 Mail App does not connect to the Outlook account

Recently downloaded and installed Win8, no obvious problems so far.

I want to set up my "Mail" app to get the mail on my outlook.com account. However, every time I get back the address email + password who logs me in me oriented web Outlook.com account, he said 'we could not find settings, please provide more information' and asks the domain names and the server.
I don't know where to go from here, I have to provide some servers to connect to my outlook.com account or is there something else, I'm missing?
My outlook.com account is configured to receive emails from other pop account. He receives these fines in the Inbox, no apparent problems.

I discovered the root of the problem and fixed it (I suspect it's what Mark Bu said, but in a different way!)

My outlook.com account is an account that is only associated with my windows user account, based on my own e-mail account as a connection made by myself in order to use integrated Ms. There is no outlook or hotmail related account. Despite this, I use outlook.com to receive e-mail from my other Inbox via pop and "receive mail from other accounts".
Trying to connect to outlook.com fine online works, try with mail app fails with this, even if it's a known workaround solution to get pop mail on the win8 Mailer application.
My solution was to simply go to 'rename the account' to outlook.com and create an e-mail address for microsoft based 'real' (@outlook.com) and migrate my windows account for this. Post instantly connected without problem, and my redirect pop still works.
Pity that couldn't stop time on the chat line for microsoft technology, it just kept saying 'call your provider of domain for more details'. It could have been resolved in 30 seconds he said "you need a real Microsoft based outlook.com e-mail use it»
