Connection (enable WebService) error - CM1415fnw (latest firmware)

Hello

I bought amazing HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw color multifunction, yesterday. So my quest began:

(1) installed the latest drivers on Mac OS X 10.6

(2) connect the printer to the desktop external network WiFi (AirPort Express with DHCP and static IP to the internet)

(3) tried printing via AirPrint, printer is not found, then download the latest firmware and upgrade of printer.

(4) AirPrint works very well and I tried to enable Web services for the first time

(5) connecting... Connection... Connection:

Connection error

The printer is unable to connect to the services. Check the Internet connection. Press [Retry] to try again or [OK] to exit.

I tried a few times, switch power and WiFi connection. Tried to do it via the web interface and get error "connection error. Check Internet connection. ».

Any ideas?

Check your network settings. In particular, check that the gateway ip router is correct. The HP software can set the wrong ip there.

    The target is your compact Fieldpoint.  The host is your PC that you are.  Given that the PC has a newer version, you will want to have the software downloaded to the CFP by MAX.  Of course, there is a small chance that you could lose power to the PCP if your luck is bad and that the power is off in the middle of the upgrade.  It would be better to have your diet for the CFP running off a battery backup UPS for safety.

    I'm guessing that the error is due to your firmware issue.

    If you are really unsure on how to proceed, it may be best if you contact DIRECTLY, they can help guide you through the update process.

  • How will I know if my Airport Extreme has the latest firmware?  And (not related) how to change the password used to connect to my network?

    I think I bought the latest version of Airport Extreme.  It is the unit which is rectangular, is about 6 to 7 w., etc.  I have some basic questions that I do not understand:

    1. How will I know if I have the latest firmware for this device?  I read a few posts that make it sound as if it was just automatically updates.  Is this true?

    2. can someone tell me how to change the password used to connect to my wireless network?

    If a firmware update is available, AirPort Extreme flashes orange.

    The most up-to-date version of the firmware is 7.7.3.

    You can see what version you currently have the following on your Mac...

    Open Finder > Applications > utilities > AirPort Utility

    Click on the image of the AirPort Extreme

    Look for the Version

    If the new firmware was available, you will see a button update here

    To change the wireless network password...

    Click on edit in the window smaller than you watched just to check the firmware version

    Click on the Wireless tab at the top of the next window

    Go back / change the wireless password and enter a new password

    Do the same thing to check

    Click Update at the bottom right of the window and give the airport a minute full for restart

  • WRT160N v2: the latest firmware update went wrong!

    I just bought this new thing, it is not connected to the internet (wrt160n-> cable modem-> internet)

    so I tried the last thing: upgrade to the latest firmware 2.0.02
    The upgrade - trial went fast enough at 98%, but remained there for about 3-5 minutes.

    Then finally: successful update.

    It has rebooted, my computer got an IP address again, but still no internet.
    So I went to the page of configuration of the wrt160n, entered ID + password and then...

    ... a screen almost empty! No menu, page actually kind of corrupt.
    I unplugged the router from the power, waited for 60 seconds, retried: same question.

    Any thoughts?

    Did you try a hard reset, use a pen that I think just next to the power plug to the back of the router there is a reset button with the router connected to the power hold it down until you see the flashing front light put your factory after that

    1. set up your router using the cd that came with it

    2. After setting up is done and you are able to go online try the update again

    that should do the job

  • Don't I have the latest Firmware for WRT110?

    I just bought and installed the WRT110 and I was wondering if I have the latest firmware. I show the version 1.0.04)is build 10 in routers administration page.

    Also, I would like to know if I have security measures in place for my network. I am 'new' for wireless routers, but I used a wired Linksys router with two computers on the network. Now my wife has added his MacBook to the mix, so I thought I would try a wireless router. The other two systems will remain wired for now.

    So far I have:

    Compatible WPA - 2

    SPI enabled

    NAT enabled

    MAC enabled filtering and only authorized wireless computers MAC address

    Changed default SSID

    Default password changed

    What else should I consider for this set - up?

    You should not loacte the router near the LCD monitor also or other computer equipment or speakers...

    To disable the SSID broadcast-

    Open an Internet Explorer browser on your computer (desktop) wired page. In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press ENTER... Let the empty user name & password use admin lowercase...
    Click the Wireless tab, select Disable SSID broadcast...

    Disabling the SSID broadcast prevents your network to appear in the list of available wireless networks, but it is still present...

    Note that disabling SSID broadcast is one of the many techniques of tightening of security on a Wi - Fi network. This technique is not 100% effective, because hackers can still detect the SSID sniffing different messages in the Wi - Fi Protocol.     Hi ruki114, sorry that it did not work - it wasn't a link of tradtional but should open a certificate installation window in your browser. Alternatively you could have tried the manual procedure described in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2965142 in the section about firefox.

    If you don't want to use this feature of family ms anyway, please doublecheck that you disabled it for your account: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/turn-off-microsoft-family-settings

    Since you are using Kaspersky, could test you with the disabled HTTPS connection filtering if Kaspersky is the culprit? This should be in the application Kaspersky itself, not in the Firefox Add-ons:

    Settings > others > network

    Uncheck the box for "numerical analysis of connections.

    Trouble with my Mac or Mozilla. I get the "this connection is untrusted" on 3/4 of the sites I visit during a session on the internet. I did so that I have to use SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0 protocols of use checked.

    I could have removed some security certificates or to add some right modules before, I noticed the error message.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    There may be a setting on your router you can disable IPv6.  Try this and also disable IPv6 on your NIC again.
