Connection failures "wmiprvse.exe" on Win2008R2

Early on, there is problem, some process is obviously trying to connect to the database with the windows SYSTEM account, because oracle account SYSTEM crashes after an hour.

the password for the system account has been recently changed on this computer?
If so, then the error appears, because the WinPrvSE.exe program uses the wrong account password (and locks the account so).

ERROR: Connection failure: unknown username or bad password
Whenever I want too run a .exe field or a program that requires administrative permissions, I type my password using the account control user, but instead of just let me through it come up with this error:
Connection failure: unknown username or bad password.
I searched for fixes, but have not found one that works.
This was a very big problem I am a player computer and all the games I have, have the administrative sign (shield) and or are .exe files.
This has happened for about 3 or 4 months now... It really gets me upset. Since there is no way to shut off User Account Control (UAC) without opening UAC itself...

clean install of Windows and all the Windows updates applied, same Microsoft Security Essential antivirus installed, and the WmiPrvSE.exe process constantly calls c:\windows\system32\tzres.dll and tzres.dll.mui in Windows 7 SP1.
If the use of the HARD drive is never-ending, because he calls the files per second, and I have the red light of the hard disk activity lights up every second.
also this problem because constant use of the processor to 3% in my PC, the WmiPrvSE.exe process never stop calling the above mentioned files.
Hello
For a better understanding of the question, I would like to know if the computer is connected to the domain network?
Windows® Management Instrumentation (WMI) is a component of the Microsoft Windows operating system that provides control and management information in an enterprise environment. With wmiprvse.exe, managers of files in enterprise environments are capable of configuring and searching for desktop system or network information and applications on the network. Developers use the wmiprvse.exe file to develop applications used for monitoring purposes. These programs can inform users about important events associated with the right management of network and files or applications after each event occurs.
Method 1:
I suggest you to put the computer in a clean boot state, and check if the problem persists.Setting the system in a clean boot state will help you determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.
How to perform a clean boot in Windows
Note: After the clean boot troubleshooting steps, see the "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" section in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.
Method 2:
If the problem persists, I suggest you to install all Windows updates available including the optional updates and check if it helps.See the article for more information.

Wmiprvse.exe CPU Excessive use
Well, the subject says it all wmiprvse.exe runs my CPU to 100%, well itinerant in the duration and occurrence it seems it happens every time I start working. I have absolutely no idea what causes this problem, there is no real connection between the proceedings in this case other than that it won't disappear soon whatever I do, I tried to kill the process but it again, I tried logging in to a different account, but there is still , and tried to restart but does not, I must all just sit and wait until he decides to go away and I can start to work. More recently, it happened when I just change the parental control settings and I write this sentence, the process is finally calmed down. I have also observed what happens when I open Gimp or Goggle Chrome. I am using Windows 7 Home premium on a Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5974 and the only thing that seems to remain constant in all the time that this has happened is that some are on System Explorer becomes "BOLD" and later it returns to normal. I would appreciate any help with this problem.

Connection failure: unknown username or bad password
I use Thunderbird without problem for businesses for nearly eight years. I currently run at the top of a tower with Windows 7 Pro. There is only a single account/e-mail address on Thunderbird.
This morning when I went to check my e-mail I have my password is requested, then received the error 'sending of password did not. Mail server exchange.company.com replied: connection failure: unknown username or bad password. "I retried the password, restart Thunderbird and tried again, but still not received the same error. I sent an email from Thunderbird test which was very good. I am also able to connect to the server via web browser and I am able to send and receive emails on my mobile device.
I erased all the saved passwords of Thunderbird and I checked account settings, but I am still unable to download any email Thunderbird.
Apart from the deletion of the account, I don't really know what to do here. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.
The problem has been resolved. Apparently the POP stack had to be reset by the side of the Exchange.
I hope this helps someone in the future...

Why is wmiprvse.exe begins with Firefox 32.0.1 under XP SP3?
Whenever I run Firefox, I see wmiprvse.exe load as a running process. I see this using Process Explorer from Sysinternals. This happened since I updated to the current version of Firefox (32.0.1). It also occurs whenever I start the latest version of Thunderbird (31.1.1). I have two questions:
1. is this a normal behavior?
2. If so, why is it necessary? And just to clarify things, I researched for HOURS using 'my friend' Google. I also tried to get the answers to these questions in the various forums without success. My copy of wmiprvse.exe is NOT infected (I ran across Virustotal) and is located only where it is supposed to be on my hard drive.
Please help me by joining answers to the two questions I and do not forget that I am talking only about XP SP3.

d:\windows\system32\wbem\wmiprvse.exe
This "d:\windows\system32\wbem\wmiprvse.exe" appears on my screen quite often and don't know how to correct it. Please tell us how to solve the problem. Thank you.
There are some viruses that will make that appear, I'd get malwarebytes, or a similar program like that and a scanner, just in case.

What is an application error, wmiprvse.exe? It keeps popping up all the time and its pretty boring. Can I get rid of him?
What this has to do with Windows Media?
Rwillet,
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.
The wmiprvse.exe file is otherwise known as Windows Management Instrumentation.
In research, I found a few articles that might help you:
Windows wmiprvse.exe related errors
You can run your scan virus and if necessary, perform a System Restore to a point prior to the error occurring.
I hope this helps.

Wmiprvse.exe constantly running
Wmiprvse.exe uses all my cycles CPU. I tried to run my antivirus AVG auditor and SpeedyPC software, and nothing has changed. How can I stop this CPU hog? Running Windows XP Professional SP3, all installed updates. Tried stopping the process in the Task Manager, and it comes right off. Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your help. None of the articles or links solved the problem. Several of them wanted to sell me programs, which also does not help.
I finally replaced the wmiprvse.exe file in \wbem with that of a previous update XP, and so far the issue is resolved. I cross my fingers.
Thanks again for your help, tho.

The wmiprvse.exe process is sometimes doping my CPU 100% usage I do not receive any error messages, but my system drastically reduced almost to the point of him looking like it has frozen or stopped loading. When the % CPU goes down, functions return. But her do that all the time.
IV ran virus/spyware scans both normally and in safe mode. Nothing is displayed. I am using Windows XP: Home edition. Intel (r) Pentium (r) 4 CPU 2.8 GHz ideas or suggestions?
I have dl'ed Malwar tool and ran it in safe mode. 4 + hours into it, I fell asleep. Woke up to find that it's over. It showed 0 files/problems.
The interesting part is with background programs.
Run my computer normally I have the problem, obviously. When I started the selective startup and disabled all programs other than microsoft background, the problem seems to have disappeared.
So I started to add programs gradually, trying to find what it was caused the problem. I eventuly went back to having all programs again activated. And yet, the problem was gone.
So I went form selective (with permit) startup to normal startup. And that's where the problem showed itself again.
Is their all that normal startup the selective startup do not even charges listed?
A ran the thing even ditch startup programs themselves. You seem to have found the culprit. VerizonServicepoint
Without this race I'm not having any issues. :/
Tested all other programs on their to. It's the only one. -

Recording connection failure attempts
Someone at - he found a way to get information about connection attempts that have failed where people enter the wrong username/password name? We use the secure gateway and I enabled database. I looked through the database but couldn't find anything by recording connection attempts that failed.
Hello
Unfortunately, vWorkspace do not keep track of connection failures, you need a product that collects this information from the event log and stores them for you to review later as Administrator Active or change auditor for Active Directory.

Fix a SFC reported an error with WmiPrvSE.exe
At first, I lived an extremely slow response with Vista Ultimate. Sometimes the locks system for a few minutes. THS drive activity light was lit.
After watching the activity in the PERFORMANCE Monitor, I disabled the Indexing Service and the SuperFetch service. The system works a lot better now. I would like to reuse these services, but that's a topic for another question.
I ran SFC/scannow, and he noted several uncorrrectable errors affect all program WmiPrvSE. Here's just one of the errors.

Wmiprvse.exe constantly creating c:\windows\system32\tzres.dll
At the opening of Process Monitor, I noticed that wmiprvse.exe created constantly c:\windows\system32\tzres.dll over and over again. I'm on a new ThinkPad T430 with Win 7 Home Premium. Lenovo would not help me because apparently the basic warranty didn't even software technical support! I tried to kill several treatments that I think can cause this problem but nothing helped. Any ideas? Thank you!

Windows 7 professional - connection failure: unknown username or bad password.
I have new xps computers 8700 identical Dell running windows 7 Professional. The new dells replace the old dell dimension computers Windows XP Edition Professional. I traced a drive 'f:' of network easily to my server from windows 2000 of the first Windows 7 Professional machine. But when I tried to map the "f:" network drive on my windows 2000 Professional 2nd new windows machine Server 7 I got the following message: "connection failure: unknown username or bad password." The computers are identical. After the introduction of the first professional machine of windows 7 with success and mapping the drive "f:" on my server, I cloned the drive hard so that all my apps and settings would be the same on the second Professional machine of windows 7. I tried to change the 2nd windows 7 professional name of the computer, but I still regularly get the "connection failure: unknown username or bad password." Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Ken Preston
