Connection Manager is not installed

I have a brand new Pavilion g7-1237dx, Windows 7 64 bit.  When you turn on the computer, I get a message saying "HP Connection Manager not installed. Application will exit. "I saw a post heading for Recovery Manager to reinstall.  But my Recovery Manager is not an area to reinstall the software.  Any ideas?

Hello

You can download the program of installing Connection Manager for HP on the link below.

  • AE 3000 - Wireless Manager has not installed? Help!

Recently upgraded router Linksys EA3500 and AE3000 adapter for my laptop. Laptop is Dell Inspiron 1705 (Yes, it's old) running under XP SP3.

Apparently the adapter drivers installed properly since the CD as it negotiates and connects with the new router. However, there are No. Linksys Wireless Manager. It seems that it was not installed at all. I can't find a folder in Program Files named Linksys or Cisco or nothing new in the list programs.

Is there a Linksys Wireless Manager included on the CD that must have installed?

Can I download it separately and install it?

I disabled the built-in Dell WiFi with is radio came with an Intel ProSet Wireless Manager. I would REALLY like a new Wireless Manager which works well with the new adapter. Going on vacation tomorrow and will be faced with new and different access points, Hotels, etc.

    Thank you!

    Hi kenh99!

With the new linksys adapters, they have no managers wireless more as they use the automatic Wireless Configuration that is built on windows-based computers. If you're traveling and want to connect to other access points, you just use the utility windows wireless. You can check this link on how to connect your computer to an access point: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?pid=80&vw=1&articleid=4055.

  • PXI-8196 connection problem: plugin not installed

    Hello OR:

The PC in interaction with our NI PXI-8196 (1052 chassis) has recently had a hard drive failure, and I had to reinstall all our LabVIEW software and live custom on a new host. The software is running, but I have problems with connectivity to PXI. PXI is recognized to the MAX, and everything is accessible (ladders for our load cells, etc.). But when I open my project to a labview VI, I can not connect for PXI. It has a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark next to it, and when I right click, the error message indicates that the plug-in is not installed. I have a CD that seems to have the PXI drivers on it, but after the installation, I got the same problem.

I wasn't the one who originally this system connected to the network, and I cannot find documentation to get back up and running. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Eric

So I solved my problem with the help of my local applications engineer. He pointed to me and made sure that the software on the PXI system synchronized with the host computer via the MAX add/remove software menu. I noticed that the version of the RT software on my host was older than the version on the PXI system. Not sure why this happened, as I had already installed the most updated version. Maybe he got more written in my flurry of facilities. So I reinstalled the RT 8.2 module on the host, and now everything works. Thanks for your time, Robert.

    Hi ejemas42,

    Please follow the steps below:

    • Please check if you have installed browser security extensions, please disable them. (For example: AD BLOCK, Advisor to Mcafee website, toolbar of internet security etc.)
    • Disable the firewall of your machine, see OS x: about the application firewall - Apple supportWindows Firewall enable or disable - Windows help -
    • Turn off the firewall of the security program installed on the computer Internet.
    • In Mac: Go to: Apple icon > system preferences > Security & Privacy > General > "allow applications downloaded on" change this anywhere (to make these changes click the padlock in the corner at the bottom left of this window and enter your computer password)

Most of the time, its a problem with the download was not successful or downloaded correctly. So, in this case, re-download the software and do not forget to compare the file size of the file downloaded with the file on the server.  Download Creative Suite 6 applications

Allows you to check in this case as well and make sure that the download is complete, if the size of the file is correct, to the install.log file.

Navigate in the log files in one of the following folder:

    Mac OS: / Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers /.

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Installers\

The name of the log file includes the name of the product and installation date, followed of ".". log.gz."the .gz extension indicates a compressed format.

You can use WIN RAR to extract the 7z or gz file:

    WINDOWS: http://www.rarlab.com/rar/winrar-x64-531.exe

MAC: WinRAR download and support: post-Télécharger

Once unzipped, the log file is a text file, open the .log using TextEdit (Mac OS) and notebook (OS Win)

Scroll to the bottom of the log. Look in the section - summary - for lines that begin with ERROR or FATAL and signals a failure during the installation process.

Copy and paste this section SUMMARIZED here so that we can check for errors. Alternatively, you can analyze the logs yourself. http://helpx.Adobe.com/Creative-Suite/KB/troubleshoot-install-logs-CS5-CS5.html

  • Connection Manager will not cooperate

Although I finally got SharePoint 2010 to connect to FrameMaker, I have a terrible time with the connection manager. I can't seem to re-enter a connection - specify only news. When I provide the details of an existing connection and click on connect, I get this:

    ErrorMessage.png

I know it exists! I want to choose the repository called, but Connection Manager apparently thinks his job is only to create new connections. What I'm missing here?

Oh, when I open the repository Manager, there no repository listed there. If I specify a different name in the connection, which will be listed, but of course manager who built a new local path and all the files that I had checked my last session are not present in the new path. This will never do.

How can I open the repository that I already had open and filled with files?

Edit: I sort of understood a workaround solution - when the connection manager appears, if I remove the repository that there are listed, and then specify its connection settings, it is finally open. This could not be the way it is supposed to work, according to the instructions in the help file. I'm a bit wary of doing things in this way - I've already lost some data because of this. Ideas anyone?

The Port and the password in mine are also empty. We use the default port, so I leave the field blank. I have to enter the password every time I want to connect.

A connection to http:/mySharePoint with a white port (by default) is not the same as a connection to the http:/mySharePoint with a specified port. Looks like that when you type the Port, the connection manager think that you ask for another connection with the same name, so you get the error.

If you can connect by taking special measures, you must provide a good server and port when you set the connection at first. You say that your point of entry is not registered?

I would try to connect without specifying a Port. If this does not work, try to set up a connection and leave the white Port. The documentation shows one, but I didn't need, and unless there is something special about your SharePoint installation, you probably don't either.

  • Adobe Application Manager Will not install to another location

I just got Adobe Creative cloud and I tried to install it and when I did I chose my G drive for the path of the instalation since I onl got about a gig on my C drive. After I save the prefrences and to install a program it tells me that I need to free up more space on my C drive, though even I'm not installing on the C drive. Please help if you can its really urgent!

Well G drive Installation will proceed, but you should also have little space on C, essential to the buffer motivation.

Its always recommended, you should have some free space on drive C, the basic motivation.

Try to make space on the C drive and then try to install it on G and check.

  • Device - network controller Manager is not installed

Recently got a new laptop which had XP Home installed.

I tried to make sure that everything worked and everything was fine

I formatted and installed XP Professional (because I need things like remote desktop)

Once installed there have been a few pilots, could not find - after you have checked in Device Manager

Also, the sound did not work.

I've had this all sorted by getting the drivers from the toshiba site and also the Intel INF driver thing to sort the missing 'Ethernet controller '.

There is always one thing that remains in Device Manager with an exclamation point = "network controller".

I downloaded the LAN drivers from the toshiba site, but he does not like them.

There are a lot of drivers on the toshiba site, including things that is not necessary (such as an acoustic silencer, which apparently made the quietest DVD). I could download all the drivers and see we want, but if someone can help tell me what its looking for.

Everything seems to work, but unfortunately I can't really test if network port works until I go home. If this does not work then I can learn to live with it. If not I may have to install XP Home disk recovery and upgrade for XP Profession (which used to be ideal)

I got connected to the Net and tried to find the drivers, but he found nothing.

It can ping 127.0.0.1 and in network connection there Local 2 network connection. As I said, everything works fine.
    Thanks for any help

I also think it s a WLan card.
Under network adapters, you should find:
    -Wireless network card
    -LAN card
    -1394 network adapter

Its been doing this throughout the day, so I guess this isn't the backend but something else that's not fair.

I have tried both through the company network and set up a private network of infrastructure with no restrictions what so ever in any sense, direct on the basic network to see if the firewall was ruining my day, but these two not in the same way.

Someone has an idea of what to do to make it work?

The previous update I gave my problem, see the message there and download the complete application manager instead of the download application which is called in the cloud applications and creative cloud services screen and the rest works as expected on my direct connection and my connection to the firewall of the company.
