Connection refused to host server through DW8 & amp; DWMX2004

I had to change the operating system hosting account of my client, the changes that it is compatible with the 3rd party software shopping cart, I'm about to download. I switched from Windows to UNIX. I waited 24 hours to go. I'm not getting a "an FTP error occurred - cannot establish a connection to the host." Your login or password is incorrect. Please check your login information"through DW8. I had already started working on downloading files and to set up the site before the operating system for connection switch worked fine through DW8. Speaking to the accommodation of the tech people I have reset my password, waited 30 minutes and tried. Same error message. I can connect via my hosting company Control Panel, I can log in through hosting company FTP client (in Control Panel), I can open a session using a browser (all with new password). I can't connect using Fetch 4.0.3 DW8 (mac) or DWMX2004 (pc). I followed a thread where I deleted the file in my "site prefs" of any reference to this site, put the Pref file return sites and home information site on this particular site. It still does not work. Hosting company has been able to log in via a browser, to their point of view, everything's fine. They say that they can no longer that I understand. But I can't yet go right on the site. I did the update to DW8. But if that was the question why I'm having the same problem with DWMX2004 on a pc?

Thanks in advance,

I realized because of the switching of the operating system from Windows to Linux that the IP would be different and it was. I was entering in the old IP address. When the new IP address has been entered it logged in fine.

    Hello
using the Mission of control 4.0 I have to following behavior attempts to connect from my local windows machine jrockit (on redhat) distance. Management port is defined (6115) and accessible through the firewall (local machine telnet works very well). With the help of MC locally on the computer remote (and tunnel with X) also works.

Remote connection does not work with the pasted below exception. But through netstat, I see a connection made on the correct port on the local computer and the remote computer. I wonder why MC attempts a connection to 127.0.0.1?

It's back to the front. You should try to create one with LocateRegistry.createRegistry (), then if that fails, use LocateRegistry.getRegistry () on the registry you now know to exist.

You assume that "getRegistry()" throws an exception if the registry does not exist. There is no that. He built just a draft of registry. It does nothing on the network at all.

  • java.rmi.ConnectException: connection refused to host: Connection timed out

OK, I get the dreaded java.rmi.ConnectException: connection refused to host: Connection timed out

I've been Googling for solutions for a while and no success, although many people have been in this boat before.

java.rmi.ConnectException: connection refused to host: 169.254.105.9; nested exception is:
    java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect

I ping the server from the client. I can telnet to the 169.254.105.9 1099 very well. I have disabled all firewall, I think - although company policy is we have to run McAfee and seems to have no control over that. When I run the client and server on the same system using localhost everything works fine.

Can anyone think of other things I could try to understand why my RMI does not connect? Are there diagnoses more I can try?

    Cheers, Eric

    System.setProperty call ("java.rmi.server.hostname", "150.247.94.130");

has no effect. I call it on the side of the client and the server before making any calls to the RMI API. I always get

Set it on the server only. That's what it's for. It touches what IP address is placed in the heel when exporting. If you need to call it before you build/export all remote objects, and that probably includes the registry.

    Hi all

I install my host ESX server in vmware workstation.  It works fine except when I am creating virtual machines.

I'm not able to install the operating system on the virtual machine and I get this error that appears inside the virtual machine.

Unable to connect to the host server: a connection attempt failed because the connected party did not respond after a certain time, or established connection failed because connected host has no

to answer.  Do you want to retry?

My ESX server hosts have static IP addresses.

I've seen a few similar posts on this issue, but their solutions have not worked for me.

    Best regards

    Nathan

I think we confuse you.  ESX server is running like a machine virtual within the workstation, correct?  If Yes, then you must edit the vmx esx server with these entries monitor configuration file *.  They can go anywhere in the file.  Once those have been added, you should be able to run 32-bit virtual machines within the esx server.

  • Connection refused in SQL Server 2005

I just installed SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition, and I still have SQL Server 7 running on port 1433.

I have many databases SQL7 connected to CF7.0.2

When I try to connect to a new database that I can read and write in SQL2005, I get a connection refused error.

I don't know what port to connect to, as shown in the SQL2005 port 0 which means apparently dynamic port allocation.

When I try the port 1434 I get connection refused.

I have the defined user name to his (and enabled in SQL2005) and no password (windows authentication). Same result if the user name is empty.

Anyone have any idea what should these settings be?

  • Connection to the remote server through ODBC

I am trying to connect to my XP box to an HP - UX Server databases
with Oracle 10g via ODBC. I have tried almost
everything and still cannot connect to it.

I have the Microsoft driver and the driver Oracle, as well as the
Oracle Instant client installed in the XP box, with a tnsnames.ora
file that points to the server, the variable ORACLE_HOME defined, etc.

I know it's available, because I can connect to this same
machine with JDBC Oracle Thin Client (ojdbc6.jar). This driver deesn can't
don't even need the customer Oracle installed on the local computer. I just
specified the IP address, port (it is a nonstandard port), SID, user, pass and it works.
But do not support the programs I should use JDBC.

Do you have any connection string that is right for you? I tried the
those of connectionstrings.com and carlprothman.net, but I think they are
not intended to connect to a remote server...

Your applications are trying to create a connection without DSN to the database? Or they're trying to connect via a DSN? You try to use a TNS alias? Or include the definition of TNS in the connection string?

You have created a DSN to connect to the Oracle database? If so, the ODBC Oracle driver provides a button "test connection". What did you use? If so, does the connection?

How many houses Oracle you have on this machine? I assume you have at least two, or more. You have configured by an TNS_ADMIN environment variable? If this isn't the case, the tnsnames.ora file would need to be replicated in every Oracle home you want to have access.

From the command line, can you tnsping the TNS alias you created in your tnsnames.ora file?

  • DBCA xlib "0.0" connection refused by the server errror

I use oracle enterprise linux 5.4 in the virtual machine and I am trying to create a new database with the DBCA assistant
    but when I do this
    an error is returned

XLib: connection to "0.0" refused b Server
    XLib: no protocol specified

    exception in the main thread

    How to remedy?

It is often an indication of doing things in the right order.

Step 1: Connect to the computer that has a screen of XWindows
Step 2: Say that the screen not to accept remote requests by publishing "xhost +".
Step 3: Connect to the computer / user who is to use the XWindows
Step 4: Tell what to display on the computer to be used for display by using export DISPLAY =: display.screen (host)
Step 5: Run the program in need of a display

Many people connect to root on the computer, then knew to oracle to install it. While this is basically a stupid thing to do, because only by using root unnecessarily increases the potential security risks and is NOT very handy and it cannot in any company that meets, what follows would be the sequence

    (1) connect XWindows as root
    (2) open a terminal
    (3) enter ' xhost +'
    (4) enter ' su - oracle'
    (5) enter ' export DISPLAY =: 0.0'
    (6) runInstaller (or use some program installation is required)

The most common mistake is running xhost after su. It will not work. The xhost must be issued by the first user - one who owns the screen.

Yes - OUT Authentication plugin is a kind of plugin access to the message you get is valid - because I assume that somebody was trying to publish to your FMS without going through the correct credentials. It is therefore the reason why this message is generated. I hope that now things are clearer to you.

  • 'Data Connection Refused' blackBerry smartphones turn off the notification!

Hello, I'm on sick leave for the next three months and my work doesn't pay for my phone, and I really didn't want to know how many emails are piling up in my Inbox, while I'm away, so I called AT & T today and cancelled my internet package.  So, right now, I'm only using my blackberry as a phone and calendar, tasks, etc.  There is a notification that appears on top of my phone that says 'Data Connection Refused'.  I looked through the options and I can't understand how to transform that turned off, any suggestions?

    Thank you!!!

This means that your SIM is not provisioned for BlackBerry services... which is obvious as your request to cancel your BlackBerry data plan. To delete "Data Connection Refused' on top of your device go Options -> Mobile network -> Data Service: Off.

Hi, I have been using Essbase 7.2.5.2 on windows 2000, which worked very well so far. I had to install CDF in one of my essbase application. To make the necessary changes, I stopped the services & restarted the server.

"If I try to start the command prompt analytical services by running ' essbase.exe in the c:\hyperion\essabse\bin folder, it displays following error" failed in GCInit().

I will be grateful if someone can help me by providing the solution to this problem.

    The fix:

    # vimsh-e - n/hostsvc/hostsummary | grep inMaintenanceMode

/ * Further consideration on the problem of starting XINETD * /.

Further examination shows that the xinetd is unable to start because he believed NETWORK unavailable.

Starting xinetd uses the contents of the sysconfig file where there was an entry incorrect "NETWORKINcesv = yes". We have corrected this entry and restarted xinetd process.

After this correction, xinetd is restarted, the system seems to be normal.
