Connection SQLFire/server cluster remotely

I went for the better part of the Guide of the user and tutorials, but from what I saw, all the examples to connect to a SQLFire server or cluster has been done locally (for example "client connection"localhost:1527";"). I have two virtual machines; on one, I created a server SQLFire and data imported into MySQL database, on the other hand that I want to connect says SQLFire database and query it.

I was able to connect and query the SQLFire server by running the command "sqlf" on the virtual machine hosting the server, then the "customer connect ' localhost: [port]"; "followed by a type of request but I would like to connect to that same server SQLFire of my other virtual computer. When running SQLFire on my other virtual computer and replace "localhost" with the IP address of the virtual machine hosting SQLFire Server (for example "client connection" [IP]: [port]'; "") I get the following error:

ERROR 08001: SocketException: ' failed after trying all available servers: caused by: ConnectException: connection refused java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketConnect (Native Method)

I'll on a remote SQLFire/Server bad cluster or is there something I need to set first to make it work correctly?

Hi Mark

You must ensure that the server is listening on the IP address rather than localhost (default). Please check that the server startup command as appropriate - customer-link-start address option for example sqlf Server - client-bind-address = [IP] - client-port [port] =...

Verify that start the server gives the port + address provided for the network server in the output:

Start SQLFire server...

Starting network server for the server SQLFire to the address

    Hello

I have currently installed Hyper v server r2 2012 proposes to test, but I have a problem with all the firewall rules Dekstop remote to connect to the server using remote dekstop I am force to disable all the rules of profile to connect. I'm downloading a few screenshots with my system info and problems that I currently have. Note: It is in the Working Group and am remoting to Win pro 8.1

Here is a list of things ot, I've done so far without result:

    Reinstall the Hyper V Server

Reconstruction of firewall rule for the TCP-IN Remote Dekstop (the rule was added but once again with the corrupt name)

Rewrite of USB and reinstalling the server (the USB key is written for the UEFI system partition and formatted Fat32 GTP)

    Reset the bios

There isn't any other firewall except those on the server that the network connection is directly from a router and it is not any firewall avable here.

PS because the screenshot shows am not able to activate remote dekstop rule for TCP-IN and UDP-IN because the names does not and I even used allow netfirewall rule the current name remote dekstop am still unable to connect to the only solution is to disable the firewall, but this isn't an option.

  • Unable to connect to computers via Remote Desktop on the VPN connection.

I have a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory network. Connect you to it remotely using an appliance, Sonicwall TZ170 VPN/Firewall DHCP pointing our internal DHCP server so we do not use the Sonicwall DHCP over VPN.

The area has been recently rebuilt completely charge and the VPN connection was stronger than it has ever been when connecting to computers on our network for the first 2 weeks. In the last few days, however, people had problems connecting on our desktop computers. They can connect to some but not to others, and in the case of a person who needs in particular access to a computer, it can not connect to it all.

I don't think it's a VPN issue but something to do with the DHCP/DNS/domain controller server. However, I am not able to locate the problem.

In the past, this same thing was a problem before I took over. We had just a matter to the inconsistency of the connection until I thought I had solved the problem (however short-lived the fix was) with the refurbishment of the domain controller.

Customers are a mix of Windows XP and Windows 7.

Any ideas? I will provide all the information I can.

  • Connected to Server VPN in Vista, but no sharing of files

I have a Vista VPN server running remotely.  My client is Windows Server 2003, and I want to access the files on the remote vista box.

This customer also has a VPN connection to another remote Windows Server 2003 box, which works correctly.

I can make the connection to the Vista VPN server successfully, but file-sharing does not work.  Still, file-sharing does not work when I turn off the other VPN connection.  I have completed virtually all settings, turned off the firewall in the Vista box.  Made sure IPv6 is not acting as a remote gateway... etc.  There are shared folders available in the vista box.

Interestingly, Vista server does no IPv4 or IPv6 connectivity under the status of the incoming connection, while the customer indicates that there was some data transferred.

Any ideas would be very appreciated.

  • access to AAA server to remote problems

Hi all. I can ping and trace to this GANYMEDE server. but I can't authenticate my telnet users. I configured local AAA relief so that he tries the remote server several times and then returns to the local GANYMEDE. I noticed the logs show the TCP FINS. Which indicates that I am actually reach the remote server, but the server sends a TCP FIN or is the server simply is not available, as indicated by the newspapers. Why the server will be not not accessible if I can ping and trace it.

I also checked the NOC extranet firewall accepted my traffic through the RADIUS server. they took the newspapers showing that my traffic has been accepted.

You'll certainly need the assistance of the administrator of the AAA, troubleshooting on the AAA client side shows only a fraction of what's going on.

Ask him or her to do the following:

Much easier and the most important thing is to check an 'attempt' journal and watch if there is no entry at all for your ASA.

If there is an entry, it should be automatic explaining like "Unknown SIN" or "Ganymede key bad argument" - be convinced on a good config and check it are two different things.

I have seen weird things like walking into a key on an AAA server via remote desktop and keyboard settings were inconsistent: English/German, traded resulting from letters 'Y' and 'Z' - do not trust your config until it you checked.

If there is no entry at all then it could be a device on the way which is allowing ping/traceroute tcp/49 but drops or a device is to translate the address of the ASA (well in this case, you should see an "unknown SIN" in the failed attempts).

You have the possibility to connect a device inside the network of the SAA as a laptop? If so, try Telnet for tcp/49 of the AAA server, you should see immediately, if it is allowed tcp/49 (get a blank screen immediately = connectivity, timeout = no connectivity)

That's all you can do on your side, unfortunately tha ASA isn't a telnet client.

  • I have a problem with access to a server through remote desktop.

Original title: impossible remotely to the server, but it can remotely to the server B and then server remotely

We have difficulties to access a server through remote desktop.

When you try desktop remotely to a server, it will notice connect.
When you attempt to ping the server all the queries expire.
However, he seems to know the correct IP address.
If I'm away for any other server on the same network, I can then remote to the server from this server, but not directly, as I have other.

  • Get the "Failed to connect to server" error after having my hosting of emails expire and reconnected. Using the latest version of Thunderbird.

Hi, I am probably doing something really basic and easy to fix but facepalmingly pls have patience with this n00b...
My emails with Crazy Domains Hosting has expired a couple of months, I've just managed to get it reconnected.
When I open Thunderbird once again, I kept getting the error msg "Failed to connect to server".
I checked all the settings for the account, they are all fine as far as I KNOW. Updated to the latest version of Thunderbird, tried to restart the program and doesn't have the obligatory IT Crowd "troid torning it and turn it on again", still get the same message.

    Plaaaaiiss... Halllp!

Regardless of my fault for typing. What is important is that there is nothing in the DNS or whois on the domain.

Look at their own whois server it shows pending deletion, expired in April. http://www.crazydomains.com.au/WHOIS/littleredfoxdesign.com/#result

Until these public information are corrected your not likely to be able to connect because Thunderbird can not find the server. There is no DNS records to point to it.

  • Safari cannot connect to server

Hello. I'm not very good in English please bear with me.

so in fact, there are a few questions here.

    1. I use the 2015 macbook, os x version yosemite 10.10.3, safari version 8.0.5. somehow, I couldn't reach several Web sites with safari. I put google.com.my as my homepage, but everytime when I open safari, it says "safari cannot connect to the server.

    2. I can not go to websites by typing simply 'youtube.com' as well, https:// will be added. Why?

    3. the unwanted tabs sort will pop up randomly, leading me to websites with the url as: ssp.zryydi.com, clkfeed.com, stamplive.com, who would not charge as "safari can't connect to the server.

I looked up solutions online and did things like deleting the history data and the Web site, check for unwanted extensions (there no), change the DNS... none worked. then I downloaded Google Chrome and encountered the same problems, as well. I also tried to upgrade to OS X el capitan, but the App Store seemed unable to "connect to Server" as well. I couldn't update anything. all these problems ensue even when I connect the mac to hotspot instead of wifi.

Thanks to someone patient enough to help me with this

Installed adware may be the problem here.

    How to remove adware?

You will have t this after the boot safe mode to prevent

Adware to interfere with the removal of adware.

    1 shut down the computer.

Press the power button. As soon as you hear the startup tone,

Press and hold the SHIFT key .

The SHIFT key must be pressed as soon as possible after the start,

but not until the startup sound.

Release the SHIFT key when you see the Apple logo on the screen.

Start-up will take more time than usual.

Flickering screen is normal mode without failure.

Sign in to your account. Launch Safari.

    Enter this address https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/mac/

in the address bar of Safari.

Download, install, open, then run it by clicking the "Scan" button to remove the adware.

I get a notification to update when you connect to firefox on my mac. When you try to update, I get a message "connect to Server" which can go over 4 hours and never update. It is most annoying. How can I remove that annoying popup which does not in any case all in ensuring that I have updated to the latest version?

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

Please report back to see if this helped you!

    Thank you.

  • "There was an error connecting to server Apple ID" not reliable CRL issue

I started getting errors connecting to my Apple account on iTunes/App Store / iBooks etc., I noticed today.

In an attempt to connect, it would return the message "There was an error connecting to server Apple ID"

This debugging with Wireshark, I noticed that iTunes has been disconnected as soon as he saw the server SSL certificate.

I opened the url field that he was using (https://gsa.apple.com) in Safari to see if reported certificate issues, and he confirmed that the intermediate certificate, although valid, could not be verified on LCR this is because he believes http://crl.apple.com/root.crl is unreliable CRL.

Other computers, OSX, I checked are used the same certificate and validate the certificate successfully.

I tried to set the certificate to always trust, but it has no effect.

I changed Keychain Access-> Preferences-> Certificates-> certificate revocation list (CRL) of "Best tent", which seems to fix the problem, but I'm not keen on this change, because it could weaken the security of my computer compared to "demand if the certificate shows."

Is it possible to restore the confidence of OSX CRL for this problem?

In fact, I found just Keychain Access from another computer-> Preferences-> Certificates-> CRL (CRL) list is set to "Best tent", and causes 'Require if the certificate shows' the same question, so I guess it's a problem with the server Apple ID certificates themselves.

I think I put the CRL settings to "Demand if the certificate indicates" some time to try to improve security. At one point, until recently, the https://gsa.apple.com worked with these settings so perhaps they changed the intermediate certificate, which presents the problem of CRL unreliable. It is http://crl.apple.com/root.crl and not https seems suspicious and could be the source of the problem untrustedness.

I have exactly the same problem and I can check that if I create a new user on my MBP (current model of 15 "), I am able to use my Icloud account once again, but not under my main user. Thus, each suggestion found in the forums here:

Next steps for me will be

    • hoping someone here has an idea, so I don't have to wast hours for this
    • try to restore a backup time new machine to a new user account (would be less work) - but this option I think that will lead to problems again. I'll let you know if it is a possible way to solve the problem.
    • From a user account from scratch and selectively import settings - there is no alternative option that takes time. Usually, this is not necessary and one of the reasons why I use a mac - only not to reinstall Windows every 3 months...
